What is Tyra's taping schedule?
The Tyra Banks Show generally tapes twice a day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Arrival time for the "A" show no later than 9:30AM. Arrival time for the "B" show is no later than 1:00PM.
The show generally tapes from August through early December, and then from January through April, excluding holidays.
Is there an age requirement?
You must be at least 18 years old to attend a taping.
How many seats can I reserve?
You may reserve up to four seats for any one taping.
What can I expect on tape days?
Please expect to wait until check-in begins. Once we begin to the check-in process you will be escorted to the holding area until the stage is clear for admittance. Please be aware times may vary due to weather and or production changes.
How long will the taping last?
Generally, the first taping ENDS around 3:00 PM, and the second taping ENDS around 7:00 PM. These times are always subject to change either earlier or later. You must stay for the ENTIRE duration of the taping, or risk forfeiting your party from being booked for future shows.
What if I have special needs?
If you have special needs, please inform the Audience Department when making your reservation. Changes made on the day of your taping can never be guaranteed, re-scheduling may have to occur. We will be happy to assist you.
How often can I attend a taping?
We ask that you attend The Tyra Banks Show no more than once every four weeks unless asked back to a specific show by a member of our production staff.
Can I request to see a specific topic?
We are not given topic information in advance.
What time should I get there?
A show: No later than 9:30AM
B show: No later than 1:00PM
Can I change a name on my reservation?
If you would like to change the names on your reservation we ask that you call the person who made your reservation. You must call at least 24 hours in advance to make those changes. Changes made the day of your taping could result in re-scheduling and or non-admittance.
What do I wear?
Dress your best! We ask that everyone come in upscale, business, interview attire. Think classy. You'll look best on camera wearing solid colors. Those looking their best are always on camera, we have the right to deny anyone who does not follow guidelines.

Flip Flops (walking around the city in uncomfortable shoes can be a task. Some change their shoes once they arrive to the taping. Please keep in mind ALL bags MUST be able to fit under your seat. We are not responsible for the storing of your items, PLEASE NO BACK PACKS OR LARGE PURSES OF ANY KIND CAN BE ADMITTED.)

Can I take a picture or get Tyra's autograph?
No photos or autographs are permitted under any circumstances. No cameras, recorders, cell phones, pagers, books, food, etc. will be allowed once inside the studio. If you bring these or any similar items, please be aware that there are NO storage facilities for these items.
What should I bring?
Valid Photo Identification and if possible your Tyra Banks Ticket print-out.
What you shouldn't bring?
Suitcases and/or large bags due to security reasons. Cameras, recorders, cell phones, pagers or similar electronic devices are not permitted in the studio.
What you should know.....
Audience members are responsible for their own transportation to and from our studio. The Tyra Banks Show does not reimburse for travel expenses or lost wages. All shows are subject to change.
Security Check
Everyone attending the show must go through a security check before gaining access to the studio. Please downsize any purses or bags you are bringing with you.
*DO NOT bring headshots, scripts or any other materials with you for Tyra or her production company. All items will be removed from your possession upon check-in and not returned until the conclusion of the show. We will not be responsible for any damaged or stolen items.
Gift Policy
No gifts, cards, letters, etc. will be accepted at audience check-in.
The Tyra Banks Show
The Tyra Show r eceives hundreds of requests for tickets per day. Please be patient as we will contact you in the order that we receive your request. Please only submit one request for tickets. Submitting more than one request will result in the cancellation of all your ticket requests! There will be no response to your initial request. You should receive a call from us at any time, from within a day of submitting your request to the day before the show, depending on when and if openings occur.
Cancellation Policy
Shows can cancel or change at any time. If your show should cancel or require a specialized audience, we will notify you as soon as possible, and do our best to reschedule you for another taping without too much inconvenience. Although we will try our best, it may not always be possible to reschedule you for another taping during your visit to New York.
