Samantha was so excited to rock her new look, she sent us this super sweet thank-you note, along with a shot of her working her wig.

My wig came today! OMG IT LOOKS SO GOOD. It is so scary to see myself with hair --LOL! It feels so nice and soft too. I just wanted to say another thank you. How exciting is that?! I'm so excited to wear it out today when I have a meeting. I'm sure I will turn heads.

Once in awhile we have a few extras from the giveaways we do here at The Tyra Show. Sometimes we can gift them to special people who help out on the show; sometimes we have enough to do an extra giveaway; sometimes, none of that works and they sit here, lonely and unused.

That was the case with a box of teeny tiny size 4 Havaianas flip flops that have been taking up space here for months! After probing around, and wasting a few Post-It notes, the choice became clear: These flip flops had to go to a stellar charity that could really work some magic.

First, a cancer-stricken girl whose dying wish is to meet Tyra has her dream come true, and the girl's mother also gets a huge surprise! Plus, a mom who has dedicated her life to finding a cure for the Rett Syndrome her two-year-old daughter suffers from -- has her dream come true! Then, a boyhood dream comes true for a dedicated soldier who has been in the Army for 18 years and has served four tours of combat duty in Iraq. Trust us, there won't be a dry eye in the house!
