Tyra THANK YOU THANK YOU for doing this show. I am an lesbian woman & NEVER knew about this. Also I didn't understand transgender's nor did my wife. I am a VERY scientific person and you doing this show expanded my knowledge and created me to have a better understanding of my transgender community and see the scientific proof or further explanation or reasons why for a possible scientific perception. Now I know this is not the case for all transgender’s, but it helped me understand a little better. Also thank you for pointing how the number was the same as red heads. I'm SURE that made others as well as I see how common it is. Also watching this show changed my wife's mind as well and thank you VERY much for that. Also thank for all your support for the GLBT community. Let alone having many shows relating to it. Many talk show host same they support they GLBT community yet do not have many many shows about it. As many have expressed their sentiments on how you handle the Shay, They and Grace situation, I am quite upset as to how you handled it. FOr someone who preaches about self confidence and personal issues in life in genenal that was a HUGE flop. Next time like someone else metioned have someone more prfessional in this sensitive subject around to give proper advice.

hi there tyra, i watched the show after school and iam a huge fan of yours, this episode meant alot to me being a member of the GLBT Community in our country. i Personally have been thinking about getting a sex change, but i dont think it is right that i should have to say i suffer from a brain disorder, i dont feel accepted anywhere for being gay, even my own mother makes rude comments about it to me

This was a unsual(odd)show and I learned something new about it! I have never heard or have seen "Intersex" printed on census form for gender. When there is a show like this on I BECOME STUNNED OR SURPRISED ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE OR MAN CAN COME UP WITH THESE DAYS TO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES!!!! I spoke to my mom about this topic and she says "THIS IS ANOTHER WAY THAT MAN ARE TRYING JUSTIFY HOMOSEXUALITY!!" I WOULD SIMPLY SAY THAT THESE GUESS COULD HAVE SUFFERED FROM A MENTAL DISORDER (SOMETHING PSYCHOLOGICALLY)or experienced being a abused mentally or emotionally!.. I find it sort of interesting to hear that that one could be born with male and female harmones or characteristics. What DID NOT MAKE MUCH SENSE TO ME WAS WHEN GUESS LIKE TRE SAID THEY RAISED FEMALE OR LOOKED FEMALE THEY FEEL MALE AND WANTED TO BE MALE! TRE said he felt different as a female. ANYONE CAN FEEL DIFFERENT ON THE INSIDE IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO BECOME THE OPPOSITE SEX FROM WHAT YOU WERE BORN TO BE!!! IT'S SAD TO HEAR WHAT HAPPEN TO TRE GROWING UP! I am a student in high school and also in the school's Gay Straight Alliance. We have not discussed this topic at all in any of our meetings and I am glad Tyra brought it up. it is due to the fact that there is only a focus on the Gay community, however, there are people out there like Hida. I firmly stand behind Tyra and am greatful that she brought this other side to the Gay community up into the light. Some of my friends are Bisexual and Lesbian and Gay. I have no problem with the gay community. Thank You so Much Tyra for bringing this up, I have given some information to the Club Advisor and hopefully this will be discussed aat our next meeting. It's not that hard to be nice about asking someone to have certain topics on their show. Be more respectful please. What if someone said that about you? Issues regarding gender is just as important and I give Tyra two thumbs up for tackling this topic and bringing it media attention.

Hi Tyra, I was very intrigued by your show yesterday on intrsexuality. I have seen photos of women with genitalia that resembles what you discussed but always wondered why some women had that. After asking my west Indian hubbie if he had ever been with a women like that he said yes. He told me that it is very common and men, especially caribbean men love that! I was shocked but he explained that most men dont look at it to be a strange thing. And yes it does erect when aroused. So you are right it is very common and also I wanted to add that a lot of woman that have that are very straight. Thanks for the schooling.
