um im curious to how the write it works. I mean if i have a taco and i say one taco with just the meat and lettus. Than how does it help exactly im a liiittle unclear with that. Please help me
 
Hey everyone!! After watching the Tyra show on Getting my shape in shape I looked up Tyra's nutritionist. Her book "The wall street diet" is actually really helpful! It gives you sample menu's to eat from and also tells you what you would be able to eat from restaurants including fast food. I've been making smarter food choices for a month and writing everything! I mean EVERYTHING down and I've lost about 10 lbs! It's not as difficult as you think! Stay Motivated and don't fall victim to eating unhealthy! You'll feel sooo great about your self especially after those jeans start feeling a little looser ;-)
 
I loved the show,"Get Your Shape in Shape". As an Exercise Physiologist/health educator, I am ashamed of the degree to which I have let myself go over the past 2 years. I was looking on the site and did not see the nutritional guidelines mentioned in the show. I appreciate the "realness" of your nutritionist in offering normal food choices/examples for normal people. Thanks!

Tyra just a question for you..on Wednesday's show with nutitionist Heather, she said you should only have the high fiber cereals for breakfast and not snack on it all through the day. Well this was a shock to me cause this is exactly whaI'm doing!..... I thought I was snacking health! Can you explian why you should not do this???
 
Tyra girl, I am a big mess. I been trying to model plus size,however I am now 242 pounds and its not looking good. My self esteem is gone. I want to loose weight so bad I dream, day dream and think about it all day. It hurts my feeling so much when people say"you a have a pretty face" I use to be in shape and now Im having breathing problems, knees hurt and my sometimes my heart even hurt. Sorry I just wanna share. I will continue to try to achieve my goal, but its soo hard when no one around you believes in you. I want to thank you for making this show and giving girls like me self esteem and helping us realize we are not alone! Hey Tyra, I notice that what you focus most on was calorie counting. There didn't seem to be much mention of the fat, mainly the saturated fat, in some of the food you talked about. Mostly all that cheese! True, it is only a couple hundred calories, but when you take into account all of the cholesterol and fat in each bite, it hardly seems healthy for you. Other things need to be thoroughly thought of besides simplifying it to only the number of calories, especially when so many women watch your show and look to you for advice.
 
Hi would love to know what you ate and some examples...trying to go to the grocery store and dont know some of the foods to buy thanks.
 
Thanks for the great show today. I have to admit that I'm not a regular viewer, but something caught my attention while channel surfing. I'm about 60 lbs overweight and know what I needed to do to lose the weight, but always seem to sabotage myself. Not sure if I don't feel worthy or what, but after watching your show I realized that I can do it & I was actually able to talk my husband into doing it also. Thank you & keep up the great work Tyra as you look happy !!!! Lynette from Canada
