The incomparable Chris Rock is on the couch!

While our chat with the funnyman is no less than hilarious, he's also covering some serious topics. With the release of his new documentary "Good Hair," Chris is talking with Tyra about all things hair. Later, we'll get young actress Raven-Symoné's perspective, and one "Tyra Show" fan reveals her real hair to her husband... for the first time!

NEXT: How Normal Are Your Morals?

Um HELLO... TYRA, Your natural hair is GORGEOUS, you should go natural more often!

why did u show ur real hair it was better off fake......

hey tyra. i love your show!!! and about hair my hair has become very damaged, dry, and frizzy. when i wear it down it looks like a mess. After your show i was wondering if there were any hair styles that i cna cut my hair into so that it is actually 'manageable'?

Can somebody anybody that has a heart PLEASE let Tyra know the benefits of wigs and weaves, she is overlooking a whole population of people suffering from cancer, alopecia, lupus or tyroid conditions that benefit from weaves or wigs. It is great that you have your own hair but everyone is not fortunate enough due to medical conditions.

Tyra your hair is way better natural. You should lose the helmet for good.

I love the Tyra show it amaze me.!!!!!

Hey Tyra! I love your show, my favorite is with Chris Rock. I just have a couple of hair questions, my daughter has a mixture of white and black hair and the only way i can describe it to you is, its extremly curly but, not as kinky as a black persons hair. I've trid so many different products in her hair for the frizz control and either the products are too greesy or dont work at all. What product should i use, because its long and i would love to leave her down with out the frizz. Also, i have tryed to straighten her hair with a smooth hair product and a flat iron and it gets the curl out but not the wave, i try to do different styles to her hair but i dont want any styles permenate. Within hours of straightening her hair, it just goes back curly... she's only 5 soon to be 6, and i'm scared that if i put a relaxer in her hair it will ruin the curl. Do you know of what i can do to control the frizz when its curly and how to keep her hair straight when straightened??? Thanks Tyra!

Hey Tyra!!! I just want to say I am a big fan of u and u r one of my biggest role models. As an African American female, I was raised with "nappy" hair and started relaxing my hair when I was about 12. I can only speak for myself, but I feel when it all boils down to it, it's all about time management. I have the relaxer because I feel for me it's more manageable. All in all tho, I think it was a wonderful show, and something that a lot of people have been curious about so Thank You!

what was the point of tyra showing her real hair (wet)if she was still going to wear weave (don't be fooled)

I love chris for coming out with this movie and the episode talking about good hair. It shows how our societies minds are being persuaded to believe one thing. Me personally growing up my hair was of the course texture and my mom relaxed all the time and i wouldnt go to school if a nap was showing. Its so sad i grew up thinking i was the ugliest thing because of my hair and how dark my skin tone was. Boys didnt make it no better. I wore this outfit in school that had green in it and this boy called me mud grass and dirt, refuring to my hair as dirt and skin as mud. My pride was never hurt so much. The i cut my hair in the 9th. But god forbid that im dark and have short hair. No i was suppose to have long because that was the prettiest thing for me. Grew my hair back cause swimming took my sides out. And now at 17 i haave my hair back short and dont care what anyone has to say cause its beautiful how it is coarse or straight!!! Thank you Ms. Banks and Mr Rock for the inspiration.

Honestly the show about "Good Hair" and how African American females feel about their own hair has become very serious. I'm a teen of African and Native race. My hair has length but I wouldn't call it long, I do get perms but I find myself saying that I want to go natural; I try to avoid applying heat to my hair, so I just wash and blow dry and keep it in a ponytail. I was babysitting and the youngest child(age 5)was watching America's Next Top Model. She made a comment about one of the models; saying.."she could never win....she doesn't have any hair and that is ugly." She says that she dislikes her own hair and she always gets her hair braided. The whole topic has caught my interest and I think it is sad that even young children find it difficult to be pretty just because of their hair. I myself feel that it's not ok to go out looking any kind of way but there is a limit to that, and I personally feel that if my hair isn't done that I'm not complete.

im glad that you touched bases on our hair and we really need to get more mothers involved with there children's hair what i men by that is loving there natural hair viva la natural
