Hi Tyra, I was wondering if you could do a show about hypothyroidism and how many people are not diagnosed which leads to obesity. In 2001, I went to the hospital because I was so tired, achey, forgetful and had other problems. The doctor told me that my TSH was 7.0 and that was just a little above the normal range .5 to 5.0, so I wouldn't need medicine for that. I've been miserable with battling weight loss, skin problems, brittle hair and scalp. It's awful. In 2003, the range was changed to .3 to 3.0 which means I am 4.0 higher. I think that if more people were properly diagnosed and treated, there would be less obesity, depression and many lives would be improved. People should be more aware of getting tested, it's very serious and effects metabolism and quality of life. People wonder why although they eat healthy, they always seem to gain weight and feel tired, faces are puffy, so they get diet pills, exercise more but still it's a battle. This isn't fair. I'm going to an endocrinologist tomorrow, hopefully, he will care. I would like to be far from hypothyroidism and be in the lowest range like .3 so that I can have as much energy, increased metabolism and be happy. Some people are born with an advantage and others have to battle obesity because of the very common undiagnosed endocrine problem. Well, maybe doctors, dieticians, gymnasiums, weight watchers, jenny craig, businesses that sell all those diet pills WANT people to have hypothyroidism to keep us coming back for help. Help that can easily be resolved with medication along with a proper diet. Can you please help us, millions of people need to know that they need an endocrinologist specialist to examine them and order
