Hey tyra, im a huge fan. i have a dvr that tapes every episode and i love the show. but i have to say, when watching the teen hazing show i was very upset. the show was very intense, discussign a serious issue, then after a commercial brake the atmosphere had completly changed and you were interviewing a cast memeber from a tv show. i was so upset with this i immediatilg stopped and erased that recording without listening to anything of the interview. those girls were poring their hearts out, and many times were cut off to make commercial brakes. you could have done so much more with those last 15 minutes and helped girls get help. im still a huge fan, but i was disgusted.
Great work,webmaster,nice design!,
Allie schumacher is awsome.....
cool blog
lot about you
lot about you
HEY TYRA I WATCH THE SHOW TODAY AND I HAVE TO SAY I WAS SUPPRISE ABOUT WHAT'S HAZING MEAN....I GUESS PEOPLE TAKE HAZING TO THE POINT WHERE SOMEONE WOULD GET HURT BADLY I KNOW I NEVER BEING HAZED BEFORE BUT JUST WATCHING THE SHOW I FELT SO SAD FOR THE BLACK GIRL....I WISH I WAS THERE WHEN YOU GIVE AWAY FREE MONEY LOL JK XOXO
Hazing seems so popular as something that some might say "has" to happen like the girl in the glasses. I can imagine things you go through in highschool can be pretty brutal. I think by highschool they should know that hazing is wrong and explained that is assualting another person. When I was in highschool I dont remember any hazing and my school was pretty diverse so that was a good thing. Just to have friends? I can believe that not many people talk about hazing, even worse nothing is being done to prevent it.
FYI: the girl in the glasses has been on a reality show....UH, looking for airtime maybe. I'm sure her story is a lie.
Tyra, I watched your show today and didn't understand the message at the end of the show. At the end of the show you had people doing ridiculous things for money. How is pouring pancake batter and syrup on yourself and others, and orgasming, etc. on national television for money any different than some of the things students and children do for hazing?? The point was made that these kids are doing these things to fit in with a particular crowd and here you have people doing similar things for money? I understand that hazing can be dangerous and harsh and that the audience members in your show had a choice of whether or not to do these ridiculous things, but when you mention there's a recession and that people need money, don't you think people will do ridiculous things for money? People are greedy for money just as people have such a strong desire to fit in. Of course they're going to do these ridiculous things that you've come up with for money and embarrass and even someone degrade themselves for money. Some of the hazing activities mentioned seemed much less ridiculous than sitting in a tiny tub with 3 people and pouring liquids all over yourself and others. Also, the same commercial for your show coming up on lying, cheating, stealing, and doing stupid things for money during the recession continued to appear throughout this whole mess (pretty much just one large oxymoron.)
