hey tyra u got cute hair.

You have some good hair..! Lots of people in hollywood have had weave in their hair so much that it has started to fall out, but you have some good hair and I wish mine was like yours...I tell people like you I don't see why you wear weave I would always let my hair show if I had hair like yours! Mine just won't grow. I take care of it the best I can, but I guess I will always have short hair....And I don't have the money to go get it done, so I have to do it my self....

Hi Tyra; I just love your hair, I really didn't know that you have a weave you hair styles does a very good job with your hair I wish I could get a styles to do my hair like your and Mary J. Thank you for reading my comment. Elane

I am thinking about going natural but im soooo scared. Im currently a freshman in college and dont know if i will want or have the courage to manage it. However with that said, I've had more breakage, been to the dermatologist, and have not had the same amount of growth with the relaxer. My hair grows super fast. I havent had un relaxed hair since the 6th grade. I dont know how course it is. I just want healthy hair again. I'm tired of the chemicals. I need some advice :/

Without all the hair and less makeup you look younger.

Tyra, I'm extremely happy that you removed your weave. I understand fashion is a foundation in your life, but also know that you are strongly moved to help uplift women and their perception in the media. I wish you had shown options for women once the weave was gone. Relaxers are also damaging and feed into the myth that our hair isn't "good" enough. Perhaps you can show naturals, twists, braids, and transitional haircuts to assist women as they let go of the false locks and rekindle their love affair with their natural hair. I've been natural for the past 4 years and will NEVER go back to a relaxer. My hair is healthy, strong, thick, and I love all the compliments I get from my sisters, brothers, and strangers of all nationalities. I tried all sorts of conditioners and oils to help with the transition and maintenance, and I swear by Carol's Daughter Hair Milk & Mimosa Hair Honey. The conditioner I can't live without is inexpensive and can be found at Walgreen's. It's Organic's Hair Mayonnaise. Keep defying the stereotypes and restoring message that we need to love ourselves first. Shine the light.

Hello Tyra, I wanted to ask you about bbw top models. Now I am not talking about the size 10 over 5 7 models but the real bbw with a belly and backfat, yes backfat. I am 5 4 and a size 18 to 20 with locs to my waist, nice legs and ankles lol. I have been the photoshoot thing and some modeling but nothing that can really put me and others like me on the map. I can work a pair of heels and had been told I photograph very well and have the pics to prove it. It would be nice to look at a plus model and see someone who is shaped like the majority of bbws and get a real idea of how something is going to look on me then a female with a small waist, thick hips and a booty but as tall as a redwood. When you think you can give the women like me the chance to show what we can do? A natural real bbw, who is not afraid of a thin heel.
