Hello everyone reading this , and if you are not reading this then tell someone. I recently saw the show on "Good Hair". I being a Black woman, find this controversy absurd . What the HELL are you nappy headed women of color thinking.? This all comes from ignorance, which shows you're not thinking , just trying to confirm to what white people will except. It is the same in all concepts of what is beautiful. Educate yourselves. Thinking saying and teaching hate amongest yourselves as Black people is just what white people have done FOREVER and they will continue to do so unless we as Black people stop it. How ridiculous to think white anything is better. You are thinking with that slavish mentality, what whites pray on. Love yourself and take pride in who God made you. Then others will respect you more. I was shocked to here the negativity on this show. Tyra has done a lot of controversial shows , and usually I just trip , but this is just too, too much, I had to type in. Bye the way dreads are cleaner than anything else because we do wash our hair whenever we want . The reason , because we don't worry about anything abnormal happening to our hair, it is real. You are for the most part, making white rich off of your hair and other products not made or produced by Blacks. Did you not here the 80% , she spoke of. That money could and should be used for your education, which is so desperately needed here. I love being a beautiful natural Black woman. I am proud that we are different and all things are for reasons. THINK,EDUCATE.RESPECT

About time, an African American woman let go of the stupid fake hair,even if its just for this season. In my opinion, celebrity black women, should speak out about this to our daughters, there's nothing wrong with wearing their real hair. Unless they're a cancer patient, or suffering from severe hair loss, there's no reason for the wigs, and weaves. Some do look great, but I think it sends the wrong message. We've been preaching "Black is Beautiful" for decades, we need to practice that. I feel that braids are okay since they originated in the "motherland", but I've never cared for weaves. Celebs like Monica, and Halle Berry, keep it real with natural short looks pretty much on the regular, and Mrs Tyra, it's not like you can't afford to have stylists have your hair "bangin" on every show. Keep it up Tyra, great job on the weight loss!! You're my inspiration!, especially since I'm a size 14 and wanting to be about a size 8 myself..tips on how you did it would be nice..Take Care.

Tyra's "real hair" looks adorable - much nicer than the weaves and extensions. I don't know why she waited so long to do this. And Kathy Griffin is a jerk - never could stand her. She behaves like a high-school kid - you know the loud-mouthed one with the mean-spirited "sense of humor" that we all loved to hate?

Tyra, I am not a regular watcher of either of your shows but happen to stumble across this recent article and thought I would respond. I love modeling and put on fashion shows and teach modeling. When you first started, I could not wait for you to come on. But I soon stoped watching to either show due to profanity and vulgarity you often exhibit. I hope that with you new body and your new hair look, you will also change your vocabulary and act like the lady you are trying to teach young ladies to be. It is so unbecoming and makes you look so ugly. Remember, pretty is as pretty does. Hopefully, you will take some charm and etiquete lessons before you try to teach others. Heres hoping we have a complete new Lady Tyrs.

Hey Tyra! Well, my comment is actually about Top Model. This season is supposed to be about short models, and I think they really aren't short at all. For me they are normal size. I'm about 4 11" like Tila Tequila. What I'm saying is that you should get models that are actually short, not almost tall. Short girls have dreams too!! Haha.
