I looooooooooooove your show Tyra

I feel so bad for Steph, and about the tall thing, I actually wish I were that height, I hate being 5ft. Everyone is taller than me and I used to want to be a model, but nobody wants a short model. So I am totally jealous of ariana and all the 5'7-5'11 girls.

Hey Tyra! I just wanted to say thank you for shining the light on tall women on your show. I am 15 years old and 5'10", and know first hand how frustrating height can sometimes be while dating in high school. I can completely relate when tall women get annoyed when short girls take all the tall guys, lol! One of my best guy friends is short, and it frustrates him as well when shorter girls refuse to date anyone under a certain height. However, I have learned to embrace my height as something unique and as part of my overall person, so it doesn't matter if I date a short guy or a tall guy. As long as I'm happy, it doesn't matter. My friends jokingly call me Amazon woman, which I actually like, because I am a strong, independent person inside and out. When I wear high heels, people sometimes criticize me, but it makes me want to wear them even more, just to prove that I am confident with myself. Thanks again for representing tall girls! -Sophia, Camarillo, CA

Can I have some advice how to loose weight.

i think stephanie is so brave to come out with this story. I had my struggles too with this and it makes me feel better knowing im not alone

Hey Tyra, I understand the whole bulimia thing.. Going through it is hard. I am still trying to recover. my bulimia developed when i was about 16-17 years old and im about to be 21 now. Its been so hard. But i have been managing with the help of family but i still have my slips, where i will have a day where i will want to do nothing but purge... :-/ i hope for all u grls out there that are struggling that know u can do it and recovery is possible i did it!!!

let me be honest um theirs away you let a person no how you feel with out be so harsh, now i do not believe she ment it that way Joe and stop playing the race card on everthing. now i fell for Stephanie Pratt's battle bulimia and for her have to go throw that in public eye. i hope she continues to get stronger. all right tyra stay cool.

I'm exactly like Arianne. I know I'm only 5'10-11" but it was quite difficult trying to date boys in high school being one of only 15 girls in high school that were tall. While in high school you go through hormonal changes, growth, and just physical changes in your body. Boys in school don't reach full height until after high school. No matter how hard I tried to make a good appearance for the taller boys, they would just brush me off like lint on a fleece sweater. I believe that taller guys tend to be big jerks to tall(er) women. I put my insecurities behind me about my height and found a guy who is 3-4 inches shorter than I am and he has the best heart. Don't go for appearances ladies, go for the personality and heart. I've been with my boyfriend for a little over a year and he makes me so happy. Maybe some women should not rush to be in a relationship and focus on yourself and being presented as a successful woman will hopefully get a man to notice you.

Thank you, Katy! This girl's a moron. Not only did she say it was Hamlet, when the "hands ne'er be clean" soliloquy is actually from MacBeth (I might be able to forgive that as a slip of the tongue / brain freeze), but she called it a "book" twice! If you've ready ANY Shakespeare, you should know that he didn't write "books". Maybe she thought it was a book because she only read the cliff notes. Too bad Tyra's audience isn't literate enough to have picked up on something like that... And she probably has more money now than I'll ever see in my lifetime. I love this country.

I shed some tears watching your show today. The little girl who said she saw and heard her parents fight reminded me of myself as a child. As a teenager, I could relate to the feelings the girls had and I too wish my parents would get a divorce. It's been twelve years that I've had conflicting parents and in spite of that, they haven't divorced yet. I honestly have no idea how they cope with this but all I know is that I can't keep up with this much longer.

Tyra, Just watched the show with Stephanie P. I'm sorry to say, but you look terrible and waaaayy to thin. I think it isn't wise to have a show about eating disorders, when it looks like you are going thru something yourself. Maybe it was the gold colored shirt. Sorry, not your color girl!! ps. Give away your own lip gloss crazy!

ummm... bloody hands was Macbeth not Hamlet Stephanie.... I hate when stupid people try to sound smart.

HEY TYRA, MY NAME IS LESLEY AND I AM 5 FEET 10 AND A HALF INCHES TALL. I REALLY ENJOYED THE SMALL SEGMENT THAT YOU DID ON YOUR TALK SHOW WITH THE AUTHOR OF THE TALL BOOK. I WOULD LIKE FOR YOU TO HAVE MORE TOPICS AROUND TALL WOMEN. FOR EXAMPLE, FASHION TIPS, WHERE TO SHOP ETC. SUPRISINGLY, WE DON'T GET THAT ALOT ON YOUR SHOW, SPECIFICALLY GEARD TO TALL WOMEN;(maybe because you have short producers lol.) ANYWAY, KEEP UP THE PHENOMINAL WORK THAT YOU'RE DOING AND I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING MORE TOPICS ON YOUR SHOW AROUND TALL WOMEN. P.S. LAST SEASON I WAS ON YOUR SHOW AS AN AUDIENCE MEMBER AND GOT THIS REALLY WEIRD FEELING FROM BOTH YOU AND YOUR STAFF. I HAD A FEELING THAT YOU THOUGHT THAT I WAS TRYING TO BE AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, FROM THE REALLY WEIRD STARE THAT YOU GAVE ME AT THE END OF YOUR SHOW. IT WAS LIKE I BROKE A GOLDEN RULE OR SOMETHING; THE IN THE STUDIO NO ONE CAN BE AS TALL AS TYRA RULE. ONE OF YOUR STAFF EVEN SAID "THIS IS THE TYRA SHOW,NOT AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL." I THOUGHT "WOW, THIS IS AKWARD." THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS THAT MY DAUGHTER AND I PLANNED A SPECIAL TRIP BECAUSE SHE REALLY WANTED TO SEE YOUR SHOW IN PERSON AND POSSIBLY GET TO MEET YOU. ALTHOUGH WE WERE SEMI-DISAPPOINTED, WE STILL LOVE YOU AND WE STILL WATCH!

To Simone: Yeah... I don't want kids but if I did, I'd try not to fight in front of them. I've grown so used to the fighting in my family I just see it as a normal thing that families do. I only really get scared if things get physically violent. Or if the fighting is happening in the car and my dad does his "crazy driving" where he brakes constantly. Makes me dizzy..;. Also, I have a question for you... Did your parents ever fight in front of your friends? Wanted to know if that was normal. My friends families don't fight when I come over so I'm not sure if they fight as much as my family. I've had several friends ask me if one or both of my sisters was mentally ill.
