Hi, i have a quick question, but its sort of in depth. I really need some help. Me and my boyfriend have been together for a while now. He recently told me he wants to take a break because he needs some time and space for himself. This had come out of absouluty nowhere. I wasn't expecting this at all. I know he isn't cheating on me or interested in other girls. He is still acting somewhat affectionate. We are still close. He knows im in love with him and i dont want anyone else. I am impatient and i dont want to wait. I love him and i can't deal with this, its breaking me to pieces. I dont really know what to do. I know im not going to look for anybody else, the way i feel is like never before, i mean i actually feel like he is "the One". I want to convince him to give this a try again. I mean we used to spend time only with each other and nobody else. Ive tried talking to him about how we can change this but he just keeps saying he isn't go back on his word. How can i have a conversation with him that can make him realize what to do. Please help? Moving on is not an option.
Hello Tyra, Like the others-I dont i know where else to post this so I will here. I am a union AFTRA/SAG actress and screenplay writer. I recently finished writing my first fantasy fiction novel (which took a year to complete.) Considering, this is my first book-I am having a really hard time getting my work published. If I go with a commerical publisher-I lose all rights to my work. I already have a screenplay based on the book-so I need to keep all of my rights. If I go with a cheap self publisher ($800-$1,000)-I have no publicity/distribution/respect and if I go with a self publisher that handles publicity/distribution-its going to cost me about $30,000-who has that kind of money when they are only twenty three years old? I am really heart broken and stressed over this. It would be a shame for all that work to go to waste and become nothing. Any advice would be appreciated. Love, Reesa

Hi, my name is Sheila. This question is for Tyra,I just cant figure out where to ask this question so im asking here. I recently saw one of your shows that had natural home remedeies for your skin. My question is what kind of toner did you mention that helps with the dark patches on elbows and back of neck? Where can I purchase this? I went to Sally's and they knew nothing of what i was telling them that had said.they acted like I was completely crazy and I told them "Dont you watch Tyra" lol
PLEASE ... PLEASE ... PLEASE ... for all of your shows, provide Tissue for your guests. Your shows are usually about something that's emotional to them. And most folks not only get teary eyed but also have runny noses and make-up. PLEASE, on future shows, provide them with tissue instead of them having to wipe their eyes, noses and face with their fingers or hands. It just common courtesy. Thanks
I think this lady needs help, I dont think its normal for people to want to gain weight hopefully she loses weight for her child, i cant imagine how much fun it will be for the child to have to grow up with a mother who is obese and cant get out of bed or out of the house, i have had an extremely hard time caring for over weight people in the hospital/carehome they had become to the point where they couldnt get up and do anything for themselves, that means having bowel movements in bed, and connected to a cathider and having their legs amputated on account of diabetes...doesnt sound like the life for anyone. It really saddens me to see someone suffer healthwise. but each to their own =(
humm Tyra is trying to help?..is that why she sent over 100.00 worth of food to stage my home befor the show?..give me a break this show is all about ratings..
wow. 1000 pounds. don't i know just as well as anyone who has been over weight that it IS HARD TO LOSE WEIGHT. i had always been over weight. in grade 5 i think, i was 125-130 or sometimg and only about 4'7-4'8 if that. ever sinse then i have found it next to impossible to lose weight. but beeing 1000 pounds by CHOISE! to WANT to be 1000 pounds is almost insulting NOT BECAUSE OF THE WEIGHT ITSELF BUT BECAUSE OF HOW SHE SEEMS TO NOT CARE ABOUT WHAT IT CAN CAUSE!!!!!!! i know people who have been efected by cancer. and shes just ASKING for it.
i think that is crazy that this women wants to be 1000 pounds i am having a really hard time losing weight it makes me depressed and brings my self esteem down so much . This women makes me sick to my stomack, there are so many people out there struggling and having the hardest time losing weight. If this women really wants to do this she should keep it to her self and stop bring people down.

I cant belive this.well first i love the show and second 1,000 pounds.CRAZY!!I mean if she wanted to have kids after she found the one for her she wouldnt be able to!1,000 pounds!WOW!
When your show either closes or goes to commercial you state "are you packing on the pounds because of the economy and junk food is cheaper" MEANWHILE the scale shows the weight of 112.6lbs., what in the world do you think this is letting younger girls think that if you weight 112 pounds you are packing on the pounds. Give me a break! For some reason young teen girls look up to Ms. Tyra and for a picture of women stepping on a scale and the weight is 112 lbs, and the statement are you packing on the pounds is being heard what kind of message do you really think you are sending these girls! Let's get real 112 is not packing on the pounds Tyra should know this the best she is no skinny minny! Change the # on the scale!
just found out that my boyfriend of 5yrs has been talking to a dancer at the club he bounces at. I am not happy about it and we have a son together and i am pregnant again. I don't want to flip out and act like a crazy jealous girlfriend, but i am so hurt. and don't know if i should just break up with him.
I don't understand why does she want to be one thousands pounds i just don't understand...
Many people still believe that excessive overweight is a weakness of character or just being lazy. On you show you talked to those girls like if they did what they were supposed to do and ate the right thing, they could be a normal weight. You haven't followed the latest DNA research. Most individuals who are excessivly overweight have a physical genetic problem. Researchers are finding a cure as we speak. Look at Boston Children's Hospital newsletter. They are a research hospital for students from Harvard Medical school. Stop blamming individuals for being so overweight! It's like blaming someone for having cancer. They are ill and their illness is what caused them to become the way they are. It is also connected to diabeates. It is a resistance to leptin and or insulin which is a medical problem and not a probem of self control.
