NEXT: Backstage Secret: Pressure to Be Promiscuous

im 19 and i understand wat some of these teens are going thru. i am currently 6 mos pregnant with my first baby. i can definetly relate to tiamyra because the father of my son i am currently pregnant with is in the military and has left state and is refusing any sort of commitment to the baby. he is denieing everything even being with me. but its ok cuz i have all of the family support i need. i can say tha she is making a wonderful choice if she does not keep the baby because shes still young and has a life to live.

hey honey it will be ok if you need a loving family please email me @ tashiaturner06@yahoo.com

Why would you drop out of school just because you're preqo? That's NO excuse, my sister qot preqo last year and STILL went to school. that's just stupid and shows you're incompetent to care for you child nor yourself. I think you should qo back to school AND find a job too... Don't qive up!

what happened to the 17 year old did she give her baby up for adoption????

Yea

Very nice site!

Hi, I'm 20 yrs old. Taimyra, mistakes happens, but count your baby as a blessing. My advice to you is to be mature and responsible. Keep the child, find a job to help you maintain your child, and honey you can put the father in court to help maintain his child. If you give up your baby you will regret it for the rest of your life, don't make that mistake cause that will be the biggest mistake of your life. Do whatever you have to, to keep your baby.

I forgot to add that i am only 18 years old and life with my amazing girl could not be better .

So i moved out when i was 15 i got pregnant when i was 16 and some mos. 1 week after my 17 birthday i had my Amazing little girl. Now i didnt have it easy at all i went through hell when my family found out! i pretty much had every reason not to keep my child. But what i realized and i think every young mother needs to realize is having a baby is NOT a bad thing!! how old you act is what determins the best decision for you in the long run. and do what is best for YOU not your family not your boyfriend just YOU. I knew i was in controll of what my future was going to be so now my boyfriend and i are planning our wedding, buying our first house, my boyfriend is a firefight paramedic and im on my way to finishing up school and opening up my own daycare. like i said No matter how old you are you are in control of how its all going to happen, having a baby is NOT a bad thing it will all work out in the end.

I am 23 years old and the mother of two amazing and handsome boys; one is six years old and the other is going to be 5 months old this weekend. However, I myself was a teen mother I had my first son when I was sixteen. This was the hardest thing I ever had to do, yet I find it to be the most accomplishing thing in my life; being a mother is amazing. Many people put teen mothers down, I say they should just turn their heads and walk the other way, our decisions have nothing to do with their life. However, I see where Taimyra is coming from, it is hard to do things on your own. I had to raise my first son on my own until his dad decided to be a part of his life and see him. The second baby I was with my bf for 3 years and he left me for a 41 year old lady. This wasn't my choice to be in this situation. There were two people involved in making these babies and the mothers should be respected for having the courage to do it on their own, they weren't the ones that gave up on their child the fathers did. The men were man enough to have sex, but not man enough to be a dad. All this has made me a stronger and wiser person, I graduated from high school and I am attending a University in which I should be graduating with my Bachelors in Science within 2 years. I am a great mother my children come first and it is Taimyras' choice to put her baby first and give her the next best thing possible, giving her to a family that will love her as

hi tyra my name is wendy and i watched the video of the girl thats 17 and preago she said she quit school well i think its plain stupid to use that as an excuse because i was 17 when i got prego im now 19 and i still finished school it wasnt easy but i didnt use my preagnacy as an excuse thats called being lazy and it makes me sick when girls sit here and talk about how they want the best for there babys so there going to put them up! then why would you have sex if you know its a posibilty to get prego if you want the best for your baby then get back in school and get an education so you can support your baby! because you said it your self that your baby daddy isnt doing much well get your job finish school and screw him! i never said it was easy but this is reality when you deside to have sex!

So what if we're 27 when they're 10? There is nothing wrong with that. If we give them the love and support they need then what's the difference if we're 27 or 47? And I realize a lot of teen dads do leave, but more than .1 percent do stay. I know of 15 guys that stayed and married their girlfriends, and all but one couple are still together 10 years later.

Sorry, I meant if you aren't ready for a baby you should think twice or ten times before having unsafe sex. Also, my husband will be turning twenty this December so I realize I'm very lucky to have a boy that didn't run out on me. He is there for me, his wife, and he absolutely adores his daughter.
