It is sad that she wants to weigh 1000 lbs, but some of the things you all are saying on here are much sadder. Do you honestly believe those horrible things? Or does saying it just make you feel better about yourselves somehow? Everyone has their vices, they might not be as readily visible as obesity, but they are just as bad. Nobody is perfect. Ya'all need to stop hating!

i honestly find this disgusting. i have nothing against over weight people. but wanting to be 1000 pounds is gross. thats just asking to die.i understand if people have conditions and body types, i have a "curvy" body type, but 400 pounds is not a body type, its a choice. and my opinion is that its gross.

I understand if its a genetic thing but wanting to be fat is just unhealthy there are so many ways that can limit you physically. Its GREAT to love yourself and your body but sometimes bringing a child into this world and teaching it your bad habits isnt going to be good for the baby. Its going to be so unhealthy and unhappy with todays society!!! Just be supportive of being healthy and eating till your 1000lbs is NOTTTTT healthy in any way.

if her family keeps 'feeding' her, shes going to die. this makes me really sad for whats happening. she can be healthy and totally deserves it.

Hello Tyra, I really enjoy your show. But the episode "Dying To Gain Weight" was SICK. My best friwnd has a girlfriend who is 6'3 at 300 pounds and in her late 30's continues to gain weight because her so-called man likes her plump. There is nothing attractive about being obese. More than 60% of Americcans are obese. And who pays the medical bills forthese people? The tax payers. My girlfriend is 45 years old 5'6 at 120 pounds. When we go out,many people think I am dating a teenager. She is smart not to pack on the pounds. She is a diabetic, as well as 5 of her siblings. The next time you decide to do a show like this again. Please make sure you have medical experts available to express tothese women that they are walking time bombs. As I watch the show, these women along with their husbands and or boyfriends sat there and brag about how proud they are of their women. Why are women so desparate to kill themselves, all because of a man. This is truly sick

I have to agree with Hellena Q. I am a very small woman. I eat like a ghorse and never gain weight. Some of you out there may think people like me and Hellena Q. starved ourselves to death. We don't.People like us have a condition called hyper-thyroid. We eat all the time and never gain weight, but we are healthy. The women on the epidose "Dying To Gain Weight." many of them probaly have the opposite (hypo-thyroid. I am a 60 year old grandmother at 5'6 at 125 pound with a small frame. No matter what I do, I cannot gain weight. so, as my doctor says. Women are dyning from diabetes and other deadly heart condition due to the fact that some man like them this at this weight? Hellena Q.was right. Here is one more suggestion for a show. Go to some of the hospitals around New York and Los Angeles, there are patients as young as 15- 18 years dying from heart disease, kidney failure, diabetes, and you aired a show with your guest promoting this life-style. Ladies, out there, STOP KILLING YOURSELVES OVER A MAN. YOUR LIVES ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN HIS SEXUAL NEEDS.

Do you really want your fans to start calling you the African American, Jerry Springer? (without the violence so far) Dying to Gain Weight episodes, America's Biggest Loser,now another show about obese men and women dating. Why are the studios spending time of promoting shows like these.!!!MONEY/SPONSERS.Tyra.it seems to me, you have lost control of your show. This is your baby,go back to the original formats,it's alright to change up from time to time. Many young people look up to you for the latest updates on the issues of today. I did not see one medical doctor, behavioral-science experts,(NIH) National Institute of Health, American Diebetic Society, Amercan Heart Association,have come forward and promote this kind of behavior as sane or healthy.. The olny people who were smiling and drooling all over themselves were the women husbands, and boyfriend. By haing these women parading around in the unmentiobables, and the men bragging about how it turns them on in so many words.The next time you do a show like this I have a topic that will make sense to women. After watching this re-run I had mixed feelings about Donna. I'm glad that she does have a positive outlook on being bigger and beautiful. However, I did not appreciate her negative comments. She really needs to realize that being able to walk and be active would be such a blessing to those who are disabled. Also, she needs to realize that just because her mother had breast cancer, does not mean that she will die. Besides, she could die of other health complications because she is morbidly obese. She should be worried about that, and about her 18 month old baby. She's not being a good role model to her at all. However, I do think that Tyra should have let her speak a little bit more at the end, and let her say why she thinks the way she does. There has to be a reason. Maybe she was teased a lot as a kid? Also, I never did hear her say that she wanted to die of cancer, she just thought that she would, just because her mother had it. In my opinion, the audience and Tyra were putting words in Donna's mouth at the end, which is sort of understandable, because I could see the emotion that they both had.

I have mixed feelings on Donna. On one hand, I think it's fantastic that she feels big and beautiful, but her disgusting comment about cancer really got me upset. As a teen who lost her mom at 7 years old from cancer, I've seen what it does to you. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, and her saying that she'd like to have it is absolutely repulsive. Watching someone you love struggling with cancer is horrible enough, and I bet she cant imagine how difficult it is to fight daily for your life. She's killing herself. she obviously had no idea what she was talking about.
