The Gay for Pay issue goes deeper for me because I am someone who feels addicted to straight men who "perform" or "provide" muscle worship sessions and the like. --AND addicted to those sessions. It can be debilitating sometimes - what I imagine a binge would be for an alcoholic or compulsive gambler. I've been taken advantage of, and enjoyed it on a sexual level, and come back for more, only to end up scrimping on basic life-stuff in the following weeks to make up for whatever money I (ahem) blew. I struggle with it, and I've often thought stories like mine were interesting on a human level (and sick and sad). But I wonder if it will ever be talked about. Again, I was aroused by the transactions (which often were over $100 each), so I felt shame. I was turned on more by the arrogant, more ruthless men. It goes so deep...websites, community forums, all dedicated to financial domination. It's so messed up - to use a tame word.

You should stick to make up and fashion tips, not attempting to tackle big, and strange issues like this. I have nothing but respect for you Tyra, but shows like this one make me want to turn the tv off and never want to turn it on again. Please consider a new format. :)

I think that is very gross. Those men were very sexy they could do anything. But they choose to do gay things. The ladies who are in those men's life are crazy for staying with them if I knew my man was doing somthing like that I would leave him in a second. They are gay and don't want to admit it.

Ok..I think working in a gay bar wen your straight is pefectly fine, all ur doin is serving drinks. But to claim your not bi or gay wen u do gay porn??! I don't get it. I was actually quite offended by a few things said on the show near the end... First of all, the guy working for the Advocate, it just amazed that he was saying that gay bars are exclusively for gay people... Like I know a straight couple that would go to the club occassionally, because the guy said he doesn't have to worry about getting in fights, and they have fun. Another of my friends likes techno, and gay clubs usually have better music. I've met lots of girls that frequent gay bars when they don't feel like getting hit on by guys, and I've met guys that go to gay bars to pick up girls. I always thought of a gay bar as a place where people can be themselves without being discriminated, where people can celebrate diversity, not just a place exclusively for gays. Second the one porn guy was talking about how porn keeps gay people at home so they're not hooking up and doing drugs, and even though he might be an advocate, it just bothers me that people always associate gay people with drugs and rediculous amounts of sex. I look at it like this, yes drugs and random sex are a problem for gay people, but for straight people too... say 10 gays start doing meth, and so do 10 straight people. The percentage of gays doing meth would go up a lot more than the percentage of straight meth heads, since there's more straight people than gays. Lastly, I know it's difficult for people not to generalize, but I am not a drug addict, and I'm not a hoe. I also don't like a guy, just because he works for a gay newspaper, representing his community on television when he really wasn't speaking for

To each their own I suppose. I personally wouldn't do porn of any sort because of the negative effects it could have on my family. I also wouldn't date anyone who was currently in the porn industry because I would consider that cheating regardless of whether it was gay for pay or not. And as far as bartending... I don't think that really matters. A good bartender is a good bartender regardless of whether they are straight and bartending at a gay bar or gay bartending at a bar. Being hot in either case definitely helps I'm sure.

As a gay male I totally appreciate the whole gay for pay concept!! On your show you only had male guests admitting to this concept however what it seems you fail to realize is that this is an extremely universal concept. So many woman are in the industry doing the same thing and where's the problem everyone seems to embrace and get turnt on to the idea. So what if it now involves two men times are changing I mean hell we just elected our first African American President and how many fusses were made about it! This country is still living in the dark ages where we still can't show breast as art but instead it is viewed as pornography! As for my man working in a gay bar though hell no!!! I use to be a promo boy and I know exactly what people do to the boys who work in gay bars if he wanted to work in a straight bar be my guest!!! As a society we put too much value on worrying about if someone is straight, gay or bi sexual! A: whose business is it anyway theirs or yours and B: if their happy who cares!

Y shouldn't a straight man be able to work in a gay club. If he tells customers he is straight or not shouldn't matter...Gay women work in straight clubs so should I as a straight women feel like she should only work in a gay bar? In this day in age your sexual perfernce or ethnic background should not be the determining factor on where you choose to work or party. If men want to be gay for pay or women want to be gay for pay it is their business. Its not my life. However I have been gay for pay many times. Its my choice as it is there choice. Everyone has a right to make choices for themselves. They are not making it for anyone else. The only person they have to answer to is their partner and God. My God is fine with me being gay for pay as my God is a kind God and so have my partners. So I dont believe we have a right to judge people. Let them do what they want. They are not hurting anyone.

I feel like the problem is the fact that these people are MEN! Tyra, if the person is a woman, and she decides that she doesnt want to sleep with men for money or she could make more money sleeping with other women, people wouldnt have anything to say, but the fact that these people are men, it's obviously a problem. I feel like people spend too much time worrying about what other people do, as the guest said today. Too many people are up in too many other people's business, unneccessarily. These men arent hurting anyone, they arent doing anything illegal, they arent abusing anyone, but yet people are in an uproar because they are having sex with other men. Do you not read history how men in Rome back in the Greek Mythological times, men used to sleep with other men for fun! Not because they were gay, because they had wives, but it was all about fun. When people stop being prudes to the sexual beings that we are, then I think our society will run smoother. Sorry if you dont agree, but I am allowed to have my opinion.
