NEXT: Al B: Summer Check-In

Chelsea i'm talking about the fact that, yeah they do what do, like it or not, but like it or not it does effect the gay community, it creates negativity, peer-pressure, issues with self essteem, and depression. Just like the Tyra Segment when she was talking about girls messing around with girls and then saying that they are straight.. Just because money is involved with it doesn't sugar coat the drugs, how it messing up most of your real life, and bad karma that comes from that. Gay or not if you come into the real world trying to separate yourself from working in Porn, and having a normal job or anything. It's going to be very difficult. And now it's seems around where I am it's more like a trend, which is not a way I would want to live or legacy I would want to pass down.

everyone is their own person! If you do gay for pay that is your buisiness, and if you are in a relationship and your partner is fine with it, then who are we to judge!!! Whatever FLOATS THERE BOATS!!(hehe) It's their decission so we just should not judge them!

"...a man's a man and a man's nasty" if this was not your exact words then they are close. I have always admired you as a young black woman trying to use her brain to make although when you first started out it was your body that got you where you are today. I am sure that when you strutted your stuff on the run-way it was not always about the clothes you were wearing, because there are times when the clothes left nothing or so little to the imagination it wasnt necessary for you to wear clothes. maybe one of the reason i am not rich and famous is because i dont want the money or fame enough to show myself so publicly to the world. but i have nothing against he or she who does it. i am a woman who got into male gay porn because of curiosity. when my now best friend a guy i had a huge crush on told me he thought he "might" be gay. He was so broken up over that realization that i as a fried could do nothing but encourage him. they are together over 2 yrs now happily inlove. I am disappointed that you didnt that hold that coment in you heart. You don't have to agree with it but you didn't have to say it like that. As for those guys who do it for the cash i dont know their real reason because one thing i do know is people dont tell 100 % truth when on the world is watching nobody wants to be known that well, we all have that part of us where we think only i will understand. I can't knock them, not evryone can wait yrs to get a fortune espeially when

I just want to make a correction to today's show "Gay for Pay." Tyra mentioned on the show that Elizabeth Taylor was not appropriate to play Cleopatra, because Cleopatra was an Egyptian Queen and would be of African descent. This is a very common misconception--Cleopatra actually descended from the Ptolemaic dynasty in Greece--who married each other so much and were so inbred, it was nearly impossible to do otherwise. She did end up having an Egyptian title, but her main language was Greek and she was of Greek descent, and for many centuries before she became a ruler, Egyptian kings of Egypt were of Macedonian, or Hellenistic, origins (Greek). The reason people might think otherwise, is although Cleopatra's roots were Greek, she very closely studied the Egyptian culture and closely emulated the customs. So, actually, just to clarify things, Elizabeth Taylor, was not that unrealistic playing Cleopatra--after all. Although, if one were to really try and most accurately cast the role, today, a Greek actress like Melina Kanakaredes (on of the tv show Providence) would be a perfect fit. (all of this info is found from credible sources, as well as from Art History classes I have taken in the past). Just a quick note: Nefertiti IS a beautiful woman of color who was both an Egyptian ruler and of African descent:)

ok miss kari the big difference of men and women being gay is the women doesn't get it in the rear and they don't sick themselves inside each other. How ever the men do. To me there is a big diference between that. And of corse every body is going to have alot to say about it.this is america everybody always worries about what every body else is doing.

I was fan of tyra and all but I have had it, every show i've seen lately has been the same, the people you interview are passively being attacked by you and the audience. Your VERY jugdemental and the worst is I don't think you have realized it. the way you you phrase your questions, is almost mocking sometimes. I know others see this too. It's clear you should stick to modeling because you do not have the neutral and accepting qualities a REAL interviewer should have. Take notes from Oprah.

Just because you make gay porn, that does not make you gay. If these men are coming on national television and openly stating that they do this, I think they would have enough courage to admit if they were actually gay. Why would they have any reason to be scared of admitting that they're gay, if they're not scared to let everyone know that they do this for a living? Really, I think people are going too far into this. Straight women have sex with other women for porn ALL THE TIME, but it's never questioned what their sexual orientation is. Why does this have to be any different? What is it about gay MEN that is such a sensitive subject for people? I don't think what they're doing is wrong. They've found a way to make a living. Yeah, it's controversial, but as long as people continue to buy porn it will always be there. And I don't see why their orientation matters so much to people, it's really none of their business. It might make some people happier if they just came out and said they were gay after all, but why? Then would the sex they are having in the porn be more real and meaningful? NEWS FLASH, pretty much all porn is faked. I don't see why gay porn has to be any different.

First thing first, how does a straight man find out about gay porn? You have to be looking for that on the internet or in the news paper. Straight men DO NOT have sex with other men. There is nothing wrong with being gay however it is interesting to hear your guest say they perform HOMOSEXUAL acts for money and at the same time claim they are not gay. I might be open to the claim they were drunk and something happened with their buddy. That is not the case here. If you like the men, man-sex and you are a man the fact is you not only have homosexual desires you are a homosexual. That word Homosexual is a word I noticed the guest did not encounter. Speaking as a STRAIGHT man, those guys need to understand it is okay to be who you are and if you just so happened to be a Homosexual than that's just who you are. No need to say money make you do what your Heart desire...

Porn is a supply and demand industry. These guys do porn and make money because this industry exhists. For the editor of the Advocate to say that this outrages the gay community, who do you think is paying these guys salary? Gay men. So obviously there isn't that much of an outrage or negative attitude towards gay for pay!

(Gay for pay) honestly I have no problem with it. It is what it is. I set here watching the show, and heard those gay men admit at one point or another that they've said a homophobic word or two, but working in a gay bar or doing gay porn changed their ignorance. One the men who does gay for pay said that in a way it does make them an advocate. Now they see what we go through on a day to day basis. Their discreminated against for what they do for a living. In a way it makes since to me. I never understood they straight man being gay for money thing before myself. I believe I have an understanding.

Thank you Scotty! I also agree with you!

Im gay for pay and i dont see nothing wrong with it im a 28 yo guy and i have sex with other married man why should i care money is money and i get pay really good . to each their own right . after all whos gona say no to 300 dollars an hour

I agree with Lindsey!

Dear Tyra Show, You should really try to stop making your show more shocking than it should be. This is a daytime talk show hosted by a former model... Not Oprah. You should stick to make up and fashion tips, not attempting to tackle big, and strange issues like this. I have nothing but respect for you Tyra, but shows like this one make me want to turn the tv off and never want to turn it on again. Please consider a new format. :)
