I saw the "Gay for pay" show today, or at least the end part. I'm a part of the gay community myself and I honestly don't think the men on the show were bisexual. Being bi means you're pursuing both genders. When we're working we're pursuing money. So it's not right to say "gay for pay" guys are pursuing the sex because they like it. They're just going after the money. I don't think it's right to be fooling the guys, like myself, who are watching. But in the end it comes down to the fact that being gay means you are actively pursuing other man (or women if you're female) because you like the company and ultimately the sex. Being in porn, gay or straight, doesn't mean you necessarily like the sex.
I watched the "gay for pay" show today and I want to say first off, that I don't judge anyone for what they do. But what I do have a problem with is guys saying that they are "straight" but they work in gay porn. How come these guys just can't admit that they are bisexual, not necessarily gay. Being Gay or Straight isn't something you can just turn off and on like a light switch. You either are or you aren't. In my opinion, when guys say they straight and do gay porn "just for the money" it makes gay people look bad because it makes it look like being gay is a choice and that isn't true. I wish some of these porn actors would be truthful and say they are BISEXUAL, NOT STRAIGHT!!!!!
The Advocate editor said he didn't like straight guys working at Gay places flirting to get tips? But when I used to go to Chippendales years ago, the male strippers and staff (some were Gay) would act like that with the women, flirting and acting like they would take us on dates, just to get tips. And in topless bars, the female dancers and staff (many are Gay women) act like that with the businessmen who are customers, just to get tips. It has NOTHING to do with being straight or gay! It is just employees trying to make a living. Personally, I would never be with a man who makes money "pretending" to be Gay in porno films! I think if a man can have sex with another man, and still claim to be straight, he is just in the closet (though he might be in denial and not know it conciously yet). I wouldn't go out with a guy who is involved in straight pornos either though. For the guy who is a bartender and said his girlfriend would rather he works in a gay place than in a straight place -- I can understand that. But it would be nice if he could find a different way to make a living, and not compromise himself in any way.
I truly believe that to be gay there has to be an emotional connection as well and not just the physical. As humans, we're sexual beings: we've always have been. But with the introduction of organized religion, labels, taboos, insecurities and fear suddenly were established. Prior to that, the Egyptians, the Greek and the Romans had a hayday in the sack (and it didn't matter with whom). The bottom line is, sex doesn't have to be so complex: with the labels, taboos, insecurities and fear! It's about enjoying the other person(s) for what they have to offer...that includes having same sex encounters. So if these guys can do what they are doing...more power to them!
I agree with allot of straight men that work at gay bars are only there for the money. It makes them more wanted so people will throw money at them faster rather than a gay guy. Ive actually hooked those straight bar tenders working in local gay community up with all my hott straight girl porn models. lol and if they dont seem to interested in the girl rather glancing at the security guards winking then you kinda figure it out.
Wasn't Cleopatra from Greece?
The thing people need to remember is that porn is about FANTASY, not reality. Porn actors and actresses are just that - actors and actresses. What they do onscreen is not necessarily what they do off. As for the Straight guys working in Gay bars: One of my favourite local clubs is an LGBT bar. There have been a few Straight men who've worked there. Most are up-front about their sexual orientation. They are some of the most open-minded and supportive people I've met. Of course, as others have mentioned, Kinsey (and other researchers) have concluded that almost all of us are Bisexual. . .
I am a gay porn model I have shoot some movies with several of the guys featured on the show and i think they are awsome. But heres whare it stands I have gay for pay friends who will only do solos for comp. and still get paid very well. They do not have any intercorse with a man they are just being featured as gay. And they absolutly will not do gay porn no matter what the price it way to far out of there comp. range cuz they like girls. Im not one to judge but one of the 1st scenes i ever did was with a gay for pay model and he was really comp. haveing intercourse the day befor his shoot. Without reciveing a paycheck!
(Message Continued) ...the results were mixed in the unseen reality between the camera shots. What finally appeared on screen appeared more like a rape than consensual sex. Well endowed homosexuals can mix well with heterosexuals but this rarely as the subject of a video. There appears to be a code upheld by heterosexual men who bottom on screen, that they will not submit to being humiliated in appearing to submit to a gay man who is substantially larger then they are. They may desire to have this interaction but they do not want it recorded for posterity and may not perform at any price. In the end, every man has his price; every guy has his limitations. Much of the time sex for the camera does not involve full penetration because there is little to see. I have to admit that the best sex I ever had with a guy was a man who did not consider himself homosexual. Sexuality always presents an interesting study in humanity; those who have not had a broad experience in this realm might find my words a bit disturbing but I believe that it is important to share the knowledge even if it is extremely carnal in nature.
Some years ago, the Kinsey Report on sexuality noted that the majority of heterosexual men have a very private fantasy of having sex with another man; the fantasy shifts between active and passive roles and is often used when having sex with their female partners. The report stated, "Males do not represent two discrete populations, heterosexual and homosexual" and that it is more realistic to consider sexual orientation on a sliding scale which will vary throughout each period of a mans’ life. The complex and dynamic character of man, makes it is possible to appear outside of his regular nature and do things that are typically uncharismatic. The great drive to sexuality is keyed into the male hormone testosterone which fortunately tapers off with age and eventually precludes the desire to experimental sexuality. Men will not easily discuss their desires and passions, they want to appear in control and can not easily admit that something within is capable of causing complete surrender. Men will be deceptive when a perversion becomes known and will attempt to portray their perceived aberrant behavior in a logical way; "Gay for Pay" is just such an excuse. This is not intended to be a condemnation of the porn industry or the men who choose to participate in making videos or those who watch them. My comments here are intended to give a broader perspective to the subject of this post and the television program that could not completely cover every aspect of this situation. My perspective is drawn from a short history in the porn business and a long history of torrid affairs with men, many of whom were heterosexual. My second and last official experience in making gay porn was with several guys who were paid to be gay; the results were mixed in
Center stage, front row!!! Attention, attention - the actors are doing it for the money. And the bartenders are doing it for the attention! Period. Now, I'll explain. Number one, if those actors were really gay, homosexual, queer, funny or whatever the title, WHY..go on a set with other people to tell you and say, "Stop!", "Hold it", "Faster", "Move your leg here"...when ALL they could do is find via google in their city of choice where a gay bar is, pick a dude and DO him!!! Of course that is free and that is exactly WHY they are "gay for pay". The bartenders, chile, hey in the bar among the children, and somehwere they are lacking the attention they are craving. So who doesn't know that has a gay friend that gay guys LOVE good looking, beefy, muscle and charming men??? And so, they are in there to get the attention. Tyra should have asked how these men that were offering 40 G and 10 G - looked. Cause, BAY-BAY, if they were twice dead and plucked up by the roots, I would have turned them down too. Now let Shemar Moore, A-Rod, Derek Jeter, Dwayne "The Rock" or Marucs Patrick (who does dancing at gay bars anyway!!!!! - HELLO) step in with a 10G and say lets go - I would have had that in the ATM depository right before we DO THE DO!!! And then, now, lets debate...after i go spend the money, honey!!!!
Gay 4 Pay is a myth. I've been around Gay porn. I roomed with a Gay Porn Producer who shot on location at the house many times. I even went out scouting with him in West Hollywood on occasion. The only true Gay 4 Pay men are drug abusers. Crack heads with no money looking for their next fix. You see a lot of that with the more lower end porn "companies." I don't know Dean "Coxx" or Aaron James who appeared on the Tyra show personally, but I'm familiar with their "work" and they are bisexual to say the least. It's a shame they can't be honest with THEMSELVES. Never mind lying to fans. When you can't be honest with YOURSELF it is truly a sad thing. Speaking first hand from what I've seen, Gay 4 Pay for the most part is used as a marketing tactic. For those that don't know, it is a fantasy for many gay men to have sex with a "straight" man. An obsession for some. It's hot right now and it sells. Oh, and the last thing is Tyra just boosted these guys salary by having them on her show....LOL Tyra is a smart gal though. I'm sure she already knew that.
Im just wondering witch comments are comeing from the guys who were on the show. mmmmm Sounding very deffensive Welll get over it almost every oppinion about these males being bi or gay has got to be true if u were truely straight you wouldnt even think about haveing intercorse with a man. Simple as that! And someof those boys only do it for show and like some of u said to get ahead. Your gay putting on a show so u can get paid more than regular models. Allot of gay for pay is just makeing sure in the beging u keep your profile as a straight man so u can get paid more or to make it a lil more easy for your parents and family who are not so opened minded to be more curdious of your desicion to do porn at all. That one was for you arron.
I am a friend of "Italian Stud in green sweater" He knows who he is. I was shocked 2 c him on TV. I always supported him thru the years and any one who says different.. should get to know him before judging. Thanx
i missed the show!!! does anyone know where i can watch it? or when i will come on again????
