All I know is that in my own case, I had sex with a female I was not attracted to over a period of about 9 months in order to see if would change my orientation, largely at the encouragement of my Dad who thought it might turn out to be the real me. You can now argue in the same way that I was covering up my true heterosexual feelings, but I can only speak from personal experience when I assure that this was not the case. Worst of all, the woman completely astonished me by falling in love with me, something that had never entered my head, given that it was in no way reciprocated, other than in a humane sense of worrying about her emotional welfare. I am absolutely fascinated by this gay for pay phenomenon, and frankly I see it as an entirely positive thing. Let's look at what is actually happening here. Homosexualtiy is repugnant to society at large, and until recently was prosecutable at law. Yet here we have, large as life, men who are avowed heterosexuals declaring, with nothing to gain and everything to lose, that they have sex with men. Whether for pay or not is largely irrelevant, because they have taken themselves down several pegs in the one hit - admitting to something that is tolerated at best in society, and results in social oblivion at worst, admitting to working in pornography with all the career-extinguishing aspects that connotes, when they could just keep it quiet at least, or most sensibly not do it at all. As I see it, this is a revolution in our favour. I could not believe that carping halfwit from the Advocate who belittled these quite brave guys and went on only about the negative aspects
I personally don't think there's anything wrong with these men or what they're doing. I absolutly think it's possible to have a job like theirs and still be straight...it's not as bizarre as people think. I feel for these guys and how they're treated just because they feel different about what they want to do with THEIR lives. True, it's not for many, however, I somehow fully understand.
I think this show was intresting to watch.. Even though it turned my stomach. What i don't like is the fact that these men do this "gay porn" but go home to their wives and girlfriends.. You are not going to tell me that after having a *blank* in yo butt(lol) you are not gay. That's stupid.. You are if you are getting payed or you are doing it for fun. YOU ARE GAY!!! The men on the show was trying to convince everyone that they are normal.. Wrong!!! no normal man is going to have sex with a another man and go home and have se4x with a woman.. And also I want to clarify something.. A man cannnot be bi- once you go the other way.. Stay over there.. You can't possibly be straight.. I love the show Tyra but I think they are just trying to hide there true feelings.. They are gay men..
HI Tyra! I know that this is late. I just watched your "Gay for Pay" segment. I am a gay male and wanted to speak to one of your guests comments about gays not liking the Gay for Pay mentality. That is not true. I know people including myself who have been very interested in watching these types of scenarios. It is part of the fantasy with pornography. Not everyone who watches porn is a drug addict or participant in orgies. I think that it would be absurd to make a definitive statement about the population. Porn is like a traditional movie. It is an opportunity to escape for a moment.
This episode is totally sexist. Just about EVERY female pornstar is required to do lesbian sex scenes with other women, yet this is NEVER mentioned in the show. When a male pornstar has to do the same with other men however, they get put down, shamed, criticized, an treated like freaks. Why is it OK for Women to have sex with other Women, but not for men to have sex with other men.
The two guests formerly involved in porn had the point at the end of the show: porn distracts the performer from his/her own body, and in fact, psychologic effects of porn are quite similar to those of prostitution. Kurt and Aaron weren't too convincing, to me it seemed they don't even know what they are doing, first admitting to do it for money, then preaching social tolerance. Btw I've got no problems with gayness, but porn is plain revolting.
I think Kurt is just putting up a front. I looked him up and all the videos he does he's being dominated and he's aroused, Tyra. Kurt does all the stuff a girl would do(if you know what I mean). I don't think a strait-guy would take something the bigger than a cucumber(if you know what I mean).
With d all women we have why BISEXUAL
I am watching a Kurt Wild video now and he is so really hot with Mr. Long. He seems to be really into the scene. nice and hot! you wouldn't know he is str8.
hi tyra well that iz discusting that some human bean that will go gay for pay they should say i'm gay and i'm not a shaime that's what they should say cause tyra i'm bisexaul and i don't do that cause i self respect for my body and that what they should do to respect there body and love there body in a good way not in a bad way neither to
Ive been in the industry and dropped low recently, and Ive been with one of the guys on this recent episode and can tell you that its not a matter of whether they are gay/ straight/ bi, its more or less how you can be turned on and that this is the avenue they took to get money they need. I took it in college when I needed the cash and its not often you can make a few K in 3 hours and walk away from it. Ya it may haunt you for 2-3 years, yet its well worth it. I have had no objections to doing it and my family supports it 110%. Big deal. If this was Europe we wouldnt be arguing and having this issue. Yet we are in the US and we are restricted and uptight people who dont like diversity or culture. Get out and see the world.....
first of all i dont agree with men having sex with each other thats not even right so gay for pay is wrong too.
I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but I am big into body language. Tyra asked Aaron if he was straight when he first came out. He said yes, but he shook his head no. I was surprised that no one caught that during the show.
The logical person in me knows that sexual arousal and sexual behavior are two different things. So it is entirely possible for both genders to participate in sexual activities without having to be aroused. So yes, there may be gay for pay in reality. But as a gay man, I want desperately for people to understand homosexuality is no more unusual than heterosexuality. It becomes a gripe when you hear the terrible stories of LGBT youths who struggle. The tales of youths subjected to rehabilitation centers to address homosexuality - because after all it is a choice, right? The parents of a friend of my thought so. Under this delusion that it is a choice, they kidnapped my friend and forced him into those centers. He committed suicide a year later after “successfully” achieving heterosexuality. So gay for pay hits that nerve for me - it reinforces those feelings of shame and the idea that gays are really heterosexuals with psychological issues. This talk show really didn’t help anyone.
hey trya this is my first time speaking to you they say these things are the future talkin bout computers any way the show was a relief for me cause i have a similar situation and now i can come out in public with it imma stripper wooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
