NEXT: Wanna Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man?

What kind of bigoted bs is this!? Not dating an atheist because we have no moral? Well excuse me for being apart of the least trusted minority in the U.S. with the lowest divorce rate of any group including Christians, born agains, and Jews. Tyra if you ever have a show on atheism I would love to tell every one of those bigoted idiots out there off and make them see what kind of prejudice pricks they are! Seriously I'm getting tiered of this kind of bullshit, I know of at lest four states where I can't hold public office, or sit on a jury just because am atheist. "In God We Trust" wasn't even on our money until the 1950's and same for the pledge of allegiance written in 1922 didn't have "under God" until 1954.

the end of my post below... that she's worth loving. By all means, look good, but truly being shiny comes from within. Sweatpants and a T-shirt can't cover that up.

The only reason that some men still think the way that Harvey is suggesting is because they had fathers who continue to pass on the same outdated views of woman to them. There are plenty of intelligent, forward-thinking, progressive, kind-hearted, and empathetic men out there (I've dated several, and let me tell you, the majority have been liberal and atheist) that have the CAPACITY to love a woman for what she is, a human being with a soul. Harvey's "3 P's" suggest that women need to be proclaimed, protected, and provided for, which sounds like the making of a great dog owning manual. I don't need any of those things from a man, I can do bad all by myself. What I need is the emotional connection from another human being who respects me for the beautiful, intelligent, energetic, and successful woman that I am. Harvey would have us believe that his book is about empowering women, but all it taught me was to avoid dating men who think of woman as such fragile creatures who need constant protection. I won't settle for anything else then the love of my life, and that does not simply mean a man who opens my doors, because believe me, I can open it my damn self. My final thought is about the woman in yellow, who frankly disgusted me. It's one thing for a man to be so dense and simplistic, but a woman? The reason she is single (which, is not a bad thing by any means) might be because she isn't happy with herself. She is so busy stressing out about being late to a date or wearing nude bras that she's completely lost sight of what matters. If she put all that energy into loving herself, someone else would see

I just caught a rerun of this episode today, even though it aired over 6 months ago. And apparently, Tyra, despite the great number of comments here where people expressed their dismay over Harvey's openly bigoted views regarding atheism, you still chose not to edit the episode when it went to reruns. If Harvey had told women not to date Jews, because their moral barometer was faulty, I like to think you would have edited it out. You claim to be such a champion of minorities, and minority viewpoints, yet it didn't occur to either you, or Harvey that a member of your audience might be an atheist? You are willfully perpetuating hatred against a minority group, yet you are apparently airing a show tomorrow talking about race issues. What is Harvey had said, "don't date Latinos, their moral barometer is off"? And regarding atheists' morality, according to a survey done by the FBI, only .21% of prison inmates are atheists. At the time the survey was done, there were about 5-10% of Americans identifying as atheists. Ten years later, nearly 15% if Americans identify as atheists or agnostics. And is Harvey so moral? He's on wife number 3, and his second wife filed claims that he cheated on her and emotionally abused her. Yet, you bring him on your show to let women know what it takes to entice such a great guy. No thanks, my atheist self will take my non-religious fiance, who actually cares if I have a brain any day of the week over a guy like Harvey. Hell, I'd take the single cat-lady life over changing myself into Harvey's dream-girl. And for the record, I'm an uber-hot, ethical grad student at a top law school. I'm a catch. What kind of dumb cologne would Harvey

You tell Steve Harvey if someone is an Atheist, it's maybe because they are not superstitious. And as far as "morals", 90% of everyone in the military who are killing innocent people are Christians. Christians killed the American Indians, and enslaved Black people. Christians have no moral compass. I find it an insult to say if I'm not superstitious, I have no morals. I never burned anyone at a stake, for believing they are a witch, like the Christians did in the 1600s. Yeah...Christians are real moral. ha ha

Love Steve, just humorous. I did not take much he said to heart. The other girl in the Yellow was terrible. She suggested so many superfiscial things, which explains her still being single. Beautiful girl, but mind and soul are way off.

I just seen the episode with Steve Harvey today and I as well was caught off guard and offended when he said that women shouldn't date atheists. He made a comment about "where do their morals come from?" because people assume that atheists have no morals because "morals come from the bible". I am atheist and I know well enough not to go hurt people because it is a wrong thing to do, not because the bible tells people you shouldn't. He, as well as Tyra, need to educate themselves about this because we aren't bad people! I love Tyra and I'm addicted to America's Next Top Model and I hope that this was just an ignorant fluke.

Hey Tyra Great job with Steve! I thought the show was informative and funny. I have been meaning to get this book. Remember people it is what you take from the book, its his opinion. People remember he has a right to state his opinion just like you all are stating yours now. Noone can ever take that away from us.

I'm currently watching this episode with Steve Harvey and I was so shocked, caught off guard, and irritated when Harvey said that women shouldn't date atheists. It wasn't the fact that Harvey said such an ignorant statement that upset me, as Tyra has plenty of people on the show who have opinions that I don't agree with. It was the fact that Tyra laughed along with Harvey and the audience that irritated me!! What a great way to promote one group of people (i.e. woman, young teen girls) while supporting a man ignorantly slamming another group of people whom I'm sure he has yet to meet that vast majority of. I'm so dissappointed. I'm sixteen, and I really loved Tyra, but not anymore. DId anyone else catch that and feel at least think twice about it? I can't believe Tyra can have episodes supporting other groups and trying to promote "inner beauty" and laugh at such a rude comment.

I am watching the show right now, and something Steve Harvey said was very inaccurate. He said that women always want their men to respond to them, emotionally, the same way that women explain themselves emotionally. And Steve said "That's not in our DNA." Speak for yourself because the social views of "man" are what have messed up this emotional state. I've personally met men who are more emotional than manly, and are not homosexuals (because this is also a social stereotype.) Men CAN be really emotional; sometimes more emotional than a women. Men have feelings and emotions just like women do, but whether or not they want to show it is their problem. Just thought I would correct something.

Ohh my goodness, the interview with Steve Harvey was one of my favorite episodes on the Tyra show. I really enjoyed watching it. I am only 24 and I for the most part can tell a good guy from a bad guy but while watching the show i loved how Steve 'put it out there'. The story he shared about his daughter was halarious "Well let me bring my daughter out here so I can tell her she is being kicked with" lol
