Natalie said several times that SHE is the one choosing the man she is going to sleep with but the only thing Tyra and the audience heard is that she is selling her virginity.Everyone's focus was on the old guy that bid on her. Natalie did not say she was going to sleep with him, that's just one of her bidders. It's her choice who wins the bid. She said this over and over again. I wish Tyra, her audience, and some people on this blog actually LISTENED to what this girl was saying. So I'm going to repeat it for her. SHE IS PICKING THE BIDDER THAT SHE HAS THE MOST CHEMISTRY WITH. Which means some she is actually attracted to and wants to have sex with. Something that most of us did FOR FREE when we first had sex. She's just getting paid for it. NATALIE I COMPLETELY support YOUR decision to do what YOU want with YOUR body.
I don't want to say yes or no... All I know that should be said about this is, that she needs to sit down and think about her future... Are you going to be thinking in 2 years, that was the best idea i've ever had? My guess is probably not! I regreted my first, he dumped me 3 days after taking my v-card. He didn't even give me a reason. The point here is, if she wants to auction it off, thats her choice. But, she needs to know that this is something that she can't take back. And whenever she do loses her virginity she better hope that she don't catch any std's,end up raped and deceived. And I hope she'll be able to handle it. Im not sure if this young woman plans to marry in the future, but i fear that it would be difficult for her to find someone to spend her life with who will take her seriously if she goes through with this. She will have to worry if he even respects her and the decision she made, she will also need to make sure he is there for her and not the money. This can be messy and it might just get worse =[. In the end she will do what she feels is right for herself.
Totally agree with Alyssa Linares. Tyra banks did the same thing to Sasha Gray, the porn star. Tyra and all the other people who opposed Natalie's view of NATALIE's virginity could not defend their claim with anything more concrete than relative terms such as "dignity" and "morality". Both of these words are defined by adjectives, always subject to opinion. For a talk show host Tyra is not very good at letting anyone talk other than herself...after this and the sasha gray show, I have grown much less fond of her.

Live and let live. It's as simple as that. It's her virginity, not yours or anyone's. If it offends your sense of morality, you really need to get over yourself and move on with your own life.
I am very disappointed in how Tyra handled her interview with Natalie. Clearly, Tyra was not interested in hearing Natalie out with her point of view.. she cut her off, asked her leading questions with the intent to make Natalie look like a piece of meat, and completely ignored her feminist stand points. She never even gave Natalie an opportunity to discuss freely how she feels about her decisions, and allowed her only seconds to defend herself from critical questions before Tyra slammed her yet again with another ridiculous comment. Whether or not YOU would sell your virginity is irrelevant. The point is, Natalie wants to prove that SHE can do whatever she wants with her body, in a safe and legal manner. In no way is she advocating for women to do anything more than choose what they want to do with their own bodies. Stop letting society dictate your actions!! And stop being so critical of people who break the mold! Also... she made an excellent point about the response to Lee as juxtaposed to the response to Natalie. Tyra, your conservative "pro-women" attitude has cost women everywhere the opportunity to see our bodies as our own. I applaud Natalie for her courage, and support her to do whatever it is she chooses with her body.

i dont think it really matters. she is gettin money for it and she is not just doin it with some random she is goin to get to know him first and it is for money! So what? It's not like she's selling someone else's virginity. It is Natalie's own virginity and she can do whatever she wants with it.
At the end of the day it's still natalie's choice, she's obviously very smart and can think for her own, we dont have any right to judge her. i just think that tyra shouldnt have been so forceful about her opinion, she should have let natalie talk more, i really wanted to hear natalie defend herself and her beliefs but tyra kept shooting her down, its not fair if she keeps doing that to her guests.
Natalie has every right to do what she wants with her body. This is called pro-choice. If you do not think it's right- then YOU don't have to do it, and it's YOUR choice. I think people who claim they are pro-choice yet do not see that falls under the "pro-choice" banner are completely hypocritical and anti-choice. If she wants to sell her hand, that's her choice. If she wants to sell her face, that's her choice. If she wants to sell her vagina, that's her choice too. If you have moral qualms about it, THEN DON'T DO IT. It's as simple as that. Don't pretend you're pro-choice when you're not. Supporting her right to do what she wants with her body is not the same thing as agreeing with what she wants to do with her body. It's not something I would do myself, but I support her right to do it wholeheartedly.
Natalie, do not sell your virginity! It is not worth it...money isn't everything, it won't buy you happiness. If you sleep with some rich old man you may feel disgusting inside and be unhappy many years to come. Please think twice before making your decision.
