hey tyra! im angela and i just wanted to tell you about my story. first of all, i love all of your shows. i never miss one. i especially love ANTM! it's always been my dream to model but im 5'7... so i was excited when i heard that you were doing a 5'7 and under contest. i wanted to try out so bad, but at the time i was very ill. i had a degenerative disc disease called disc desiccation. i was in constant pain and it hurt even more when i walked and stood up. plus i was 8 different medications so i was a bit out of it. i was devisaed that i couldnt go. i would have went as i was and tried my hardest to endure the pain but i already had my surgery schedualed for the 19th. after the surgery, i could barely even feed my self for the next 2, i couldnt even walk. im still pretty upset that i missed my chance. people always told my i should model and i always felt that i had it in me and i still do. i have almost fully recovered and even though i've been basically constriced to my bed for the past 6 months, your shows always brightened up my day. so thank for that! also, i really hope you will continue to let shorter girls in the competition. love, angela
