Hi---Tyra said it was negative that Liz Taylor played Cleopatra though "Cleopatra was a black woman from Egypt" and that white actors should "Git you yo' own parts" . This was worng and negative. Actually Cleopatra was a white skinned woman who was Greek.She was not from Egypt, she lived there temporarily as an adult.

Hi Tyra, Big fan of the show but I think that you conducted this interview without really understanding the situation. Sexual orientation is based on what you are sexually attracted to, not what you do sexually. Any person could engage in sexual relations with any person of any gender and that doesn't compromise their sexuality. Also, becoming sexually aroused isn't based solely on the person you are having sex with. Simple things such as scents, music or massage, as well as contact with the right erogenous zones can easily lead to arousal, and perhaps what else you are into, be it something like masochism, voyeurism or narratophilia, will lead to arousal, without the requirement of a specific gender. I felt like you had already accused him of homosexuality (which isn't something to be ashamed of), without understanding either of these two concepts. I hope that you will investigate into these two issues and have your understanding of the world expanded. Looking forward to your next show xx

The editor of the gay magazine DOES NOT speak for the rest of the gay population. I'm gay and have no problem with gay for pay, especially straight barmen. The editor guy wouldn't be saying the same thing about black men working in a bar for white people would he!
