How are you doing, Tyra? I'm a gay man and I love you. You are so accepting, understanding, nice, intelligent, funny and not to mention, incredibly gorgeous. I've been a fan of yours since I was a kid(I'm almost 21 now). Anyways, I LOVED this show; it's probably my favorite episode. It's a shame when people can't understand each other. I was disappointed in all of them one way or another because they ALL want to be accepted for who they are yet they all were saying negative things about each other. Interestingly, the feminine lesbian and the masculine gay guy were suffering the least criticism of all of them and dishing out the most criticism of all of them. At the end of the day, we are one big community that wants to be loved and accepted for who we are. Tyra, the only person on that episode who acted like they had any sense in that episode was you....AND YOU'RE NOT EVEN GAY! Overall, excellent episode. I'm a huge fan. Take care.

Tyra, i watch your show the Gay Kingdom, it was a good one. Tyra imust say, your,e a great hostest. Youre very sweet and sincere. But i must agree with Jacki, this kind of lifestyle is sinful and unnaturel. God is good, and he didnt put man here to lay with man, and women to lay with women. There willalways be problems where this matter is concerned, because the nature of this is ungodly. Its wrong and unsafe, in spirit.Man cant have children with, women cant have children with women, therefore this is wrong in God eyes.Sasha you will always be a man, with a confused mind forever, and the man who marries you is also, very confused. Shameka, i agree with you, there is no man on God earth able to have a baby, the pain is unbariable, youre a woman you know this, i clearly respect your opinion, on that subject.Homosexualiy is a sin, and it will always be a sin.And those women who beleives women can love a women better than men, well,,,,,,,,,all that women need to do is to set her man down and explain to him what she wants and like, then take it from there. Thank you Tyra for letting comment on this subject, youre a wonderful person.

I watched the episode that was called "The Gay Kingdom" along with all the other shows about homosexuality. I personally don't think that it is right for people to be homosexual. And I don't agree for people that are homosexual to be saying that they are born to be homosexual. Homosexuality is a choice that was taken whether it was at a young age or an older age. If you were born as a boy then you are a boy. If you were born as a girl then you are a girl. The only people that should be confused about their gender are Hermaphrodites. I too don't agree with Tyra comparing blacks and whites. Black people were born to be the color that they are. They can't help that. What I think homosexuals should be compared to pedophiles or sex-aholics. There are so many people that I know that have turned children gay just because they want more people in their gay community. I think homosexuals are confused individuals trying to create another world of people that are confused just like them. God didn't intend for people to be something they were not born to be. God gave mankind a choice of how they should live, Yeah. But don't say you were born that way. That is a disgrace to my God who is my father and to the Lord Jesus Christ. God loves all his children but if you’re doing something that is not of him. You cannot receive the gift that he has for us in heaven. Another thing is homosexuals are trying to fight the laws these days by trying to teach other people’s children that it is ok for them to except homosexuality. Which is something I do not agree with? If they truly want to

I didn't see this when it first aired, but decided to watch it today. My comment is simply this, after watching, Sasha, is in denial. I don't care how much she has transformed on the outside, she will always, and forever be a man! I understand that she is engaged, and his family is okay with her history. She states that she is a woman, 100%, when she will never be 100% woman. We as real women, can have children. I don't care how many surgeries she have, she will never be a real woman! As beautiful, as she is, she is still, and always will be a man. This is what I think the problem is, with men wanting to be women. They think, in my opinion, it's all about looking good, and being beautiful. That is only a third, of what we as women, have to pull off. I wish that God, in HIS infinite mercy, would allow just one man, not have a child. But have a menstrual, with REAL BAD CRAMPS! This would change every other man's mind, about wanting to be a women. I don't wish childbirth on them, because we all know, men cannot handle the pain, associated with child birth. So, something as simple as a cycle with bad cramps. Yes, this would give all gay men, a whole new out look on life! NOW, LET THAT BE THE REASON!!!!!!!!!

@ Jamie: OMFG!!! I am also a 17 year old female Bisexual living in southwest Va. On top of this I am also Atheist, listen to Marilyn Manson and Tokio Hotel. I couldn't agree more with you!! It is horrible that even in our own community, us Bisexual people STILL get persecuted by our own kind! We fight for our rights yet we are still targets by gays, lesbians, and even Transexuals. If we can't be accepted in our own community, how can we ever be accepted in the main community? We don't even have support from the Gay community, the only place left for us to belong yet to the others we don't. Jason didn't deserve to be "banished" just based on the fact that he is attracted to both men and women. If he were female I bet they would be clamoring all over themselves to keep him. Not saying that bisexual men are any different that bisexual women but, it has been proven that people are generally more accepting of biseual and lesbian women than bisexual and gay men. I for one think it's absolutely disgusting that we are still being discriminated against! We can't help it if we are attracted to both men and women! it's not a choice for us! It's time for the hate and oppresion to stop! Seriously, can't the Gay community just get along and accept ALL of us?

I agree with Blair. There should have been a pool of heterosexuals to go through the same experiment. I also disagree with premise that homosexuals are more likely to use drugs. I am a lesbian and I have never, no kidding, never used any illegal drugs. My group of "straight" friends is more 420 friendly than my gay friends. Everyone goes through tough times but your sexuality doesn't determine your coping mechanisms. It's ok to be who you are and not use drugs.

I just watched this episode and I felt really upset at how persecuted Jason, the bisexual male, was. I'm a seventeen year old bisexual female living in the discriminatory south and I am never more annoyed and offended than when I'm being called confused. Of course there are the little teens who decide that they're bisexual to be cool and give all bisexuals a bad name as not being able to decide or whatever. It's really upsetting that members of the gay community who have been so discriminated against will look at someone else who is treated the same way and shun them. A common argument for gay rights is that sexuality isn't a choice, so what makes anyone think that bisexuality is a choice? Homosexuals, heterosexuals, bisexuals and other kinds of preferences are born the way they are. I am the most adamant activist for gay rights that I know, even among my gay friends, and I think it's a shame that I am looked upon as a liability to the gay community and as a little kid who doesn't really know what she wants. I've had amazing boyfriends and beautiful girlfriends and I can't imagine refusing either side of myself. I am one whole part of me, a person who knows what she wants and who sympathizes with the gay community. It'd feel nice to be as accepted as I am accepting.

I don't know where to post an idea for a community experiment... But I think a good experiment would be with the Hispanic community. I'm Hispanic- Mexican-American and we all view each other differently depending if (just using Mexico as example) (1)Both you and parents are born in US (2)Parents born in Mexico, but you’re born in US (3)Both parents and you born in Mexico (4)and then if BOTH parents and you born outside of US, but how long you've been in US, I've noticed Hispanics view each other differently (usually how many years of school you've done in the US) (5) Then what country you’re from I treat everyone the same, but I realize that those who were born and came from (for example) Mexico, don't relate to me as the same race as them even though both my parents were born in Mexico, but I was born in the US. I think an experiment should be done on this. Even in Mexico, depending where you came from you’re viewed as better than if you were born in other countries. I don't quite understand, maybe it's the education? I think it would be interesting to create a Hispanic or Latino community to see how we view each other and even across countries like Salvador, Honduras, Cuba, etc. Many all come the same way, yet view each other very different! I know other races may not relate to this, but it would be intresting to watch!

Loved the show... we need more shows like this. with this topic. I think you should continue to explore the masculine, gay black males... There are a lot of us that work hard, are great people and just wanna be normal and happy.

tyra, love what you do, but after watching todays experiment with prostitutes and gays. as a gay man, i was deeply disturbed that your show didn't include lets say a group of straight men. a ceo, garbage man, stripper, teacher, cop, biker, door to door salesman etc. the same could be done with women. i think it would have lessened what seemed to be a show that exposed extremes that america looks down upon and would have show how stereo types exist within what appears to be mainstream. thanks, blair

I loved this episode so much!

Hi Tyra and folks at the show. my name is Shammu-a and I'm a gay male and i am currently watching this episode. I have to disagree with all of it I don't know who it works in their world but where I grew up and where I came from we didn't have this self hating gay tendencies. I don't think that they hate each other but they disagree with each other out of insecurities. I have friends who make more since than they do and i don't think its fair for them to be one sided about their sexuality.
