I think there are different ways to get into college without the money issues. Stripping and porn is not the only way to make money or to make your way in college. They have tons of scholarships, loans, and financial aid that so many people fill out. They should take that opportunity. Maybe they are lazy and wanna take the easy way out. But i totally disagree with it. It ruins what people think of you not only other people, but family which is most important and yourself. thats all i have to say for that

Please don't bring the bible into this issue. To many times people bring the bible into situations, and we need to settle it without bible verses. Yeah I'm a christian, but I don't see anything wrong with this. Like they said, there is no sexual connection to porn. They do it for the money, what's the problem with that? It doesn't affect us, it only affects them, so why do we care about what they do? As for them being gay...if they aren't getting sexually aroused by men then they aren't gay!, but if they do then they are gay or bi. Like any other thing being "gay for pay" is just a job, and for the men that were on that show it's nothing more. So, stop being so close mminded about the gay community, and just let people do what they want!

I have an issue with these people who say they were in college and needed money and it seems like they think the only answer is to strip or do porn? Really? I went the regular route, getting student loans, working all the way through college as a tutor, counselor for children, babysitting, etc. So to those who think stripping and porn is the only way you can pay your way through college.... please, think again. There are so many other ways to help yourself without damaging your future!

BTW - There is a world of difference between working as a bar tender in a gay environment, and working in porn! A bartender does not have to be the least bit sexually invested in what he is doing. A straight men has to go agaiunst everything that is natural and inate for him to engage in gay sex. (ie- men in prison) Even then, the arousel tends to come more from a place of control and manipulation, not affection or arousel. I have known many very nice straight men who worked in gay bars. yes, they know how to be flatterred when a gay man flirts, but they never even tried to actually come across as gay. I know this is a serious and opinionated topic in the Gay Community, But people never know the full circumstance. Men are as UnNormal as females. Because a man chooses to do that I equally think it justifies individualism. And that critic from the Newspaper blog is totally in the wrong on chronological issues of straight males who use the gay community. The gay community is as equally divided as the currency given out among the US. Meaning there is no set definition to a person being Gay. You as an Individual can do whatever you like as long as you know like the former sex industry worker said "every time you have sex with a person a special part of you is being given away" as long as your aware of that and the risk's of STDs' and other diseases you are your own person. The things people do have superceeded the boundaries of ordinary, people both homosexual or heterosexual have skeleton's in their closet and those skeleton's are their skeleton's. And Gay males come in all diffrent shapes,(Tall, Short, skinny, Fat,) and they come in all different levels of testosterone some exaggerate the mere existent of being gay, other's are not totally satisfied with themselves and feel men that know what they want and our discretionary with whom they sleep with are out of the circle, to be openly gay is like saying hey come kiss me you know about me can't you see I swing my hips and wave my hands I'm gay let me fix my hair and put on extra lip gloss I'm gay. A straight bartender in a gay club is NOT the same as a man telling people he's straight and having sex with another man! A bartender is a bartender...but when you are willing to risk your reputation and your life for money, you have some serious issues that need professional counseling!!!

I don't see any problem with it. Like the guests said, it's a job and they get paid for it. I don't think it makes them gay, they're just very open-minded. To be gay, you have to be naturally turned on by the same sex. Any man can pop a Viagra and have sex with another guy if they're open to it. That doesn't make them gay, because they're not thinking about the person they're having sex with to turn them on. Plus, a lot of gay guys actually get off on the FANTASY (which all porn is) of straight guys having gay sex. And the whole Gay Community thing... don't even get me started on that. You can't expect to have the same rights, but still choose to segregate yourselves.

Tyra, give me a break! The only person on this planet who does not know that these boys are Gay are them! Especially that first little twink who appeared on your show today! Problem here is, you have a gay man who cannot reconcile this fact within himself, so he tries to live the straight life while using "gay for pay" as an excuse t indulge in gay sex. This is so absurd! I know the struggle of trying to admit to one's self that you are gay... Been there, done that. It is a terrible struggle. I completely understand why you may think that it was unfair, but let me ask you this ... how did you feel when they cast Will Smith or Tom Hanks to play gay men in a movie? Dianne Carroll was Norma Desmond on Broadway. Will and Grace was cast with hetero actors- playing gay men, and it ran for years on TV. Are you implying that these choices were incorrect or unfair? To have sex with someone of the same gender is gay!!! Gay for pay is no different than hiding in the closet. If all it takes is a little money to get a person to have gay sex, then they have some deep issues they are trying to avoid.

Gay men have "pretended" to be straight for thousands of years, because to be openly Gay could get you killed. Where as these individuals can "play" Gay, make thousands and go back into a largely straight world with NO fear of being discriminated against. Not to mention it perpetuates a stereotype that Gay men are always trying to get straights in bed.
