I thought it was a shame that only negativity came from the Advocate spokesman. For goodness sake, these guys are on national television, admitting to getting hard for other guys, sucking them off and being penetrated by men. There's no way he can justify the comment that they can just go back and lead their 'straight lives' after this interview. They are very courageous men and have my complete respect.
So my boyfriend is in the industry and when we got together i knew.. After 2 months i found out that he was doing both girls and guys. Gay for pay. Its been extemely hard to deal with this. He says that he is straight and that he has no intrest in men but i dont understand how he can make out, do oral and have sex with a man if he isnt enjoying it a little bit.. He is going to school ful time and he says that this is just a way to make it. But i am scarred that he is going to catch something and give it to me. Its a hard thing to understand i guess. For now we are still together but i am not sure if i will be able to handle it in the future.
I personally did not see the show, I only just now found it through a search engine for "Tyra Banks". I however did see the MTv Truelife episode that Aaron James was on. Hearing him say he is straight, is kind of hard for me to believe. You see, I live in Pennsylvania, York County to be exact. We have a gay club here called Club XS, And I have seen Aaron here many times. Dancing on stage with guys, even making out with guys. So for him to say he is "straight and not attracted to guys" is really hard to believe.
In my opinion, this has more to do with the MORAL VALUE than one's sexual orientation.
In a way this issue is just horroble to talk about.

I personally know Kurt and his family. He is not a bad guy. Yeah his job pick is not the coolest thing in the world but so what. I think it might have an effect on the kids later in life if they learn that it is their father doing that kind of stuff. But hey who are we to judge.
i saw the video with kurt wild and aj. There is no way these men can honestly call themselves "straight"-- each performs fellatio on the other and kisses the other. Kurt has an orgasm from the bottom position. These are queer men who live "straight" lives-- in other words- they are bisexual. They pretend to be straight for the social acceptance and for the money: they are capitalizing on the desire of some queers for so-called "straight" men. Of course, "straight" and "gay" men do not exist-- only men of varying degrees of bisexuality.

Wow! This was a great show. My partner & I have been to many bars, and enjoy the fact that some bartenders are straight. They're cool people. We our selves have been in the adult film industry and really enjoyed what these guests were saying about it. It truly is a job, not to be enjoyed, with all the lights, positions, and people watching it's hard to perform. Now we are a openly gay couple and of course are turned on by some of the men, straight or gay, but still find it hard some times to "rise to the occasion." I don't agree with what the editor of the magazine was saying though, just my opinion. I think it's cool that these straight guys are comfortable enough to work or visit a gay bar. We love going to straight bars, but aren't always welcomed, so I say the more people that come out and support our community, rather straight or gay, the better. With all that said, we do expect each and every person to be honest about who they are, and what they're sexuality may be, lol but we all know that's not the way it always is. I'm a gay man who lives in LA and I got a kick out of this episode. I can confirm that almost EVERY bartender at The Abbey in West Hollywood, the gay bar Tyra referred to at one point, is straight. While some guys will flirt, most of us know they’re straight and we don’t act like predators. It’s usually the women that flirt with them more than anything else. And yes, those guys, make a lot more money bartending at a gay bar than they could ever make at a straight bar. And in response to why gay guys prefer gay bartenders.. It’s a time honored tradition to socialize or flirt with your bartender, get that flirtation back, sometimes more, and the occasional free drink is nice. Straight bartenders.. NOPE. None of that. I have never EVER had a straight bartender buy me a single drink, I’ve had gay bartenders buy me plenty over the years. Don’t tell me you don’t love it when a hot bartender pours you one “on the house” with a wink. At the gay bars where there are gay bartenders, the mood is just different; we get to know the bartenders, sometimes we'll get a free drink, and sometimes we even become friends with them. And for the straight guys that do go into gay bars to work or just have fun with their friends, be proud of them! These are guys that are totally secure in their sexuality, that should be applauded. Insecure men are such a turn off!
I personally disagree with the comment from the gay man on the show about how the gay community only wants gay people at gay bars. Wouldn't that be say.... discrimination. Gays are always talking about how they are discriminated against, but wouldn't only allowing gay people into gay bars be discrimination. Has anyone heard of equal opportunity? You should be able to apply and recieve a job no matter what race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, etc. Isn't that what our country was based on? So if straight people want to do gay porn and vice versa who business is it anyway?
Crazy people have turned the world GREY. PORN is simply SICK SEX that is promoted and supported by SICK MINDS. Crazy people do not think in terms of Black/White, Right/Wrong, MORALITY/reality. If you're Gay for Pay you're promoting & supporting it. You can't sit on the fence making money off it and say you don't want it around your kids. THINK!
