I have been a fan of ANTM & The Tyra Show since they started on TV. I had always thought positively of Tyra, with her "sincerity", "selflessness", & "honesty" she has portrayed over the years....until now. I have been viewing several of her shows on www.youtube.com, many in which have been followed up with commentary from previous guests on her show. It has come to my attention that from the show in regards to "teen prostitution" & "teenage porn stars", the guests were not only portrayed in a purposely negative light, but have also been outright LIED to with false promises of "help" that Tyra HERSELF has claimed she would offer to better "Victoria" (guest)and her life. Apparently NOTHING was followed through. I find this disgusting. Furthermore, the other guest Sasha was deliberately obligated to portray herself as a "very young, babyfaced girl", to mislead viewers of her accurate and true personality.Whereas I was under the impression Tyra was genuinely trying to help women in need, she is nothing but a fake. I am appalled that she has single handedly EXPLOITED these poor girls, for ratings. "Victoria" was promised therapy, and to have her (and her mother's) face to be blurred out to protect identity. Clearly when the show aired, it was not, nor was she given help. I am embarrassed to have ever thought for a moment, Tyra was a good role model for young women.

I dont see how you people can actually sit up here and compare the work that tyra has done in magazines to stripping. She is a MODEL. There is a huge difference between the two, one being CLASS! And I personally believe if Tyra's kids were to look back at her work they would be proud of their mother.

I think people should STOP attacking Tyra! If the shoe fits wear it! Her job is a professional one and should not be compared to that of a stripper, prostitute, what have you. If a woman was a true mother, then she would get a job of a different nature so she wouldn't embarrass her kids...THAT'S WHAT I THINK!

I'm watching this episode as I'm writing this, and I have one word for you Tyra: HYPOCRITE! Who are you to get up in the faces of these mothers and bash what they do? Yes, being a dominatrix or a stripper by night and a wonderful, good mother by day may be a bad decision, but you are DEFINITELY not one to talk. Hello all i just watch the show today....and i must say that this is the first time i've seen tyra try her best to pull something wrong out of these women. These mothers have already overcame the embarrasment and the explanation (to her children). They showed a lot of poise, maturity and respect for the situation. They weren't disrespectful at all. Tyra should not have forced the daughter to watch her mother in action. After she said she doesn want to see it. The mother was confident, very respectful and classy. What she does in her personal life besides being a mother is her choice. I dont feel she makes her children feel uncomfortable because she keeps it private and mutual with her adult daughter. Most people dont like their jobs but stay for the money. She found something she likes doing, found the right time to do it and she's making enough money to keep up her home. Digging down her throat to boost ratings when clearly she is comfortable and her daughter may not be comfortable but she accepts the issue at hand like a young lady. The young lady her mother raised. Besides who will pay for her schooling if she goes back to school, seriously. Tyra dont be mad at me. I always respected and love everything you have accomplished but i feel that you were trying to pull everyone on your side for your personal gains and feelings. Even the psychologist was a bit stunted in her answers. I think most of the audiences felt content with the domina's answers and thoughts. P.S. Grow up Tyra, you may be “vanilla” but the world is filled with different sexual fetishes. Dominatrix involves a dominate female, acting out, or role playing with men who chose to be dominated, this is life. I watched the show and some parts of it i didnt agree with..In reaction to the lady who was a dominatrix I think that she was treated un fairly and her point of view wasnt being looked at.I am a mother myself and for me I feel as though if she wants to have whips and chains and leather boots in her closet that is none of her kids business.They dont belong in her room going through her stuff anyway.There are different things that turn people on sexually and for her thats is being in control.Thats fine.
