I would feel really embarrassed and people wouldn't take me as me if not as the daughter of.. which is not nice at all. My friend has been trying to get me to watch this show forever.What I seen today disappointed me.Just because you are famous, who gives you the right to judge anyone.As long as she provided for her family and took care of her kids I didn't see the problem.You weren't offering to help her go back to school or pay for her kids schooling.My mom was a single parent and I would have paid to see her most of the time.Her kids weren't living in poverty and she had her own money.It was a none sex profession!!!!!I WILL NEVER watch or support anything you do.FYI(i'm gone do me)a lot of grown ups say that.Your living in lah lah land!
Tara, I am sitting here watching your show and I can't believe how judgemental you are being toward the dominatrix. I don't know I how I would feel if my mom did those things or my daughter, but I can't judge others because I don't know what they are going through. Her daughter seems to be more scared for her safety and you just kept putting more and more negative ideas and feelings out there for her to try and admit to. Well in my days Moms didn't work. Mine was called the Koolaide mom of our neighborhood. Hi,Tyra. First of all, let me tell you that Im one of your biggest fans here in Manila, Philippines! I think you are a perfect mix of strong character and gentle heart.. just like my mom! Thank God, my mom was never in the sex industry. However, hypothetically speaking, if my mom were in the sex industry, and I knew about it, I will definitely, right that very moment, ask her to quit whatever she's doing and offer to work for our family instead. I know that my mother (and maybe others' too) would only go into this kind of job just to support us. And Im willing to do that (support our family) instead so she can preserve her self-respect and dignity. In reality, we do not have a dad anymore (passed away 13yrs ago), my mom is a paraplegic and could no loner work (although she still tries). I have four more siblings and Im the only one working. Two of my brothers have their own families already, one takes care of my mom and our youngest is still in school. Nevertheless, however difficult life is right now, thankfully, we have not resorted to doing anything unhealthy, immoral, much more, illegal things just to survive. We are not a wealthy family Tyra, but if there's one thing we can be proud about, it's the fact that we have kept our dignity and self-respect intact and we intend to do so for as long as we shall live. Well I am a single mother of a 3 year old daughter and I am considering stripping for a few years to make some cash to help me and my daughter out. I really feel Tyra was way to hard on these women I mean is she willing to pay there bills or watch there kids when they go to school? Anyone who says and yeah better yourself go to school obiviously is not a single mother holding down a full time job and taking care of of a child themselves. Honestly I tried to hold down a full time job go to school and take care of my daughter and I ended up in the hospital. So my question to you is, if I continued to do that I would end up dead is it better that my daughter has no mother at all? I think that that would be wrong! If your mom is married, she is being disloyal to your dad. She might not be doing other men, but she is showing herself off. Plus if she was in some movie, kids from your school or even work would see it. Then you will be the laughing stock!! Yea some people might like it but when people that you know see it and when they look at you they might feel disgusted!! Disgraces the family! Me and my mom were the best friends!! And when I found out my mom was having an affair with another man whiling being married to my dad, I WAS MAD. I couldn't look at my mom the same way. So if i find out my mom is in some porno movie or that she's gettin paid for having sex with numbers of guys, I don't know what I will do but it won't be pretty. I know even now after my mom stopped having affairs (as far as I know of) I can't see her as I use to. And I feel that she as betraied me as a friend and daughter!!

I must say....Todays show was very interesting. I saw nothing wrong with Tamara's (I think thats her name) choice of work. I don't feel it was appropriate to allow her children to find out, nor was it appropriate to allow her daughter to watch the video of what she does for money, but I do understand. It is so easy to point the finger at folks, but at the end of the day we're not paying their bills and so we should not be able to suggest that something other than the fact that she was trying to feed her kids was taking place. No I'm not a stripper, or a dominatrix and I don't think I would ever have the heart to take on a position like that, however, there are some people who are capable of handling a job like that with compitence(?) and ease.
