Tyra, I have known Sally for a few years now. She is a wonderful person who loves her children very much. She has sacrificed a great deal to make sure her children have everything they need. You were not very fair to her on your show. You should have spent more time to get to know her and her daughter instead of trying to judge her. Perhaps in the future you should try to find encouraging stories to show how women are handling their personal lives and celebrate their accomplishments in life. Sally's life should certainly be celebrated.

Hey tyra if my mom worked in the sex industry i would be ferious with her bkuz when someone has sex it shuld be to some one they love and not some dirty guy that is paying them thats just wrong. i think wen women sell their sex they're disrespecting their own body. Theres no way that those women like what they're doing. SO they shuld stop. if their doing it for money there are plenty of organizations out their that help familys in need. Women shuldn't be scared to ask those organization i think some women are scared what people will think of them if they ask for help.You shuld do a show on that trya you shuld help women/mothers to not be afraid to ask for help. Hey Tyra, I love your show and t'voed all of them.I also respect you for all your success and all you're doing for young women of today. But I don't agree with the way you reacted to the Dominatrix Mom on the show. Even though I, myself wouldn't get into that line of work, I wouldn't criticize her on her job decision. It's not against the law, she was able to provide for her children very well and that is most important. You can tell by the way her daughter presented herself, that she is a very good mother. Okay her daughter was saddened by the specifics of the job, that is fine also, she has a right to feel that way. But she is grown now, don't go down the same career path as Mom chose and grow up, there are worst jobs than this. If her mom was a nurse and had to take care of elderly people and she didn't like elderly people would she still be hurt and want her to quit. Do not complain, that job kept food on the table, let her participate in cirricular activities and a roof (a really nice roof, if I may add) over her and her brothers heads. Now I'm not saying this is the best job choice but she is able to make her own schedule, provide for her family, and it's not against the law, and she likes it, so I feel it's okay for her. Not everyone is intelligent enough to (not to say she isn't) go to school for higher education to better themselves. Why don't you have some drug dealers, prostitutes or hit men on the show and fuss at them, because they are some of the ones that are doing illegal things, that

I am pleased to see that others have identified the same issues I have with how Tyra handled this show. The main point in my mind was the level of judgement being blasted on this dominatrix mother/woman by Tyra which directed the overall tone of the audience members. This is, I agree, very hypocritical of Tyra since she made her fortune from selling her body to several people around the world and unlike the dominatrix, tyra's scantilly clad body is on print to see all over the world by every and anyone. TYra should get off her high horse, and the worse part is in the midst of bashing the guest, she kept stating that she is not being judgemental....tyra needs to go watch that episode and count the number of times she passed judgement and if she still thinks she didn't pass judgement then refer to the dictionary for a definition. And yes, there was no need to show what the mother's profession looked like since there are children involved....I highly doubt that helped with the promotion the self-esteem of women or young people which tyra claims is her purpose in life. SO, is the method of promoting self esteem for some, at the expense of others?...to disempower those who have chosen alternate, unconventional lifestyles/chioces. I admire tyra for some of the topics she explores and that's the reason for me to watch the show when I can....I really have not been able to appreciate tyra as a host. Frankly I feel that tyra should've hired someone else to host some of these topics and she works behind the scene...the self absorption is mind blowing but I suppose that's excpected from someone who made a living from a superficial profession as modelling. I wouldn't care as long as she wasn't getting sick in any way that could be transmitted to me or bringing people in that could get me sick. right now my mom has scabies and she's had it for about 8 monthes now, she got it from a guy. i dont have it, but she uses nasty chemicals that make it so i cant breath, so i REAlly want to move out soon.

I like you, Tyra, but this show made me mad. Why are you and the people in your audience judging these women? Are all the women who were saying how nasty the guests were on your show perfect themselves? No one is perfect, and no one should judge others because they are different. I believe the lady that is doing dominatrix is very smart. She is making money doing something she really likes and she gets to spend enough time with her kids. Would she be able to be with her children whenever they need her if she had 3 jobs like one of the people in the audience suggested she should have? I don't say that everyone should do what she does, and I do believe she is very bright and is capable of doing many other things for work that would be approved by society. What she does is not for everybody, but it's her choice. We chose what's right for us. And besides, I thought it was very inappropriate to show her daughter a video of her mom working. Nobody wants to see their parents exposed. I feel bad for her children only because now they are going to have hard time at school with all the other kids being mean to them, because everyone believes they can judge others and make them feel miserable as makes them feel bigger and better...How sad is that!
