Being a mother myself what kind of role model are you being to your children but showing them that you think so lowly of yourself? Would they want there son daughter doing what they are probably not! Its so degrading to women and absolutely disgusting I bet the other mothers at school would love to have a hooker on there pta right? NOT Women take for granted how far we have come today as women and what we have accomplished women use to not be able to be news reporter or journalists or even work executive jobs! Why would you resort to such a low self-esteem career you can do so much more with your life I wish every women today would realize how beautiful they are inside and out and that they do not have to work these jobs and that there are other ways in life that pay great and you can make a great living by, Think of how awful it would make your child feel when someone asked what does your mom do? They would get made so much fun of and picked on and jokes thrown at them about it.

It's disgusting when women who have children are prostitutes. Especially when they're doing it in their own home where their children sleep, eat, bathe, etc... There are tons of jobs out there where you don't have to take off your clothes or do things like hurt people who like pain. A child won't get something like that, it will hurt them and might cause them mental distress.

I also agree that Tyras comments on the show were very harsh. Whenever your a mother and you cannot fully provide for your own children you will turn to anything to provide the necessities for your kids to live a happy life. I don't think that Tyra should've judged the women unless she was in the same situation. I'm not saying that I agree with prostitution I'm just saying that Tyra shouldn't have judged the women on the show and she shouldn't have pushed her own personal views so heavily.

Oh one thing i didnt say wuz in my house we speak spanish cause the step dad my mom speak both tha whole family dose but tha step dad is learning english cause of us =)

my mother is a prostitut but unlike the mothers you have on your show she doesn't care about her 5 childern she took my 18 year old sister to the place were she works to show her how it is done trying to get her to be apart of it because my sister is very pretty and she would make money. she has also taken my sister to crack houses and introduced my sister to her drug dealers. so because of my mothers "help" my sister overdoesed 3 times and the last time she was very close to dieing. my mother has also stolen all of me and my sisters clothes and disappered. she has als stolen from my father everyday pretty much. she goes into his wallet nd just takes his money then will take his car and be gone for days so becasue of my mother i hardly ever see my family my dad thinks everything she does is right and i am wrong for not wanting anything to do with her. my 4 year old little sister shold not even be living with her she isnt in school she has no birthpapers for her she never goes to the docters office. my mother is not capaple of rising any kids. i am 17 and i have a 6 month old son i will not let her in his life becasue i dont want him to see there disqusting person i came from. one night when me and my sister spent the night with her when i was 15 the guy she was living with was rubbing on my leg when i was asleep i woke up and saw him nd i told her about it and she just blamed me because the guy was her drug dealer.

Why is it that society supports artistic expression when it is nets millions of dollars and features well known actors and actresses? No these people portayed on screen are not the characters they portray and nor would they neccesarily want their children watching their films; but it is what they do and they are paid well for it. I just watched the show and I am really upset with what I just saw. Tyra honestly asked stupid questions. Obviously no mother wants to hurt her child and it was clear that the GROWN daughters were not too happy about what their mothers were doing. I am a single mother, I work in retail and I'm a full time student at a one of the top 4-year universities in the country. I know how hard it is. Tyra will never know what it is like to have to choose between providing for her child and working a job that is frowned upon. I'm sure the mother's did not go into the industry because they wanted to, I am willing to bet that it was what they felt was their final option. It may not have been the best decision for them but I'm damn sure that it was hard! When you can not feed your children and you have to look into their hungry faces that makes you feel like a failure. I have one child and I can not imagine how it would feel to let him go hungry. "Having money's not everything, not having it is" That is so true. Tyra, and a lot of others will never know what that feels like. People without children are entitled to their own opinions but they should NEVER judge a parent who is taking care of their child! I'm not saying I agree with the mother's career choices but I am in no position to judge them either. People are so quick to throw stones and dish out judgments but I am certain that they have skeletons in their closets, and if brought to the light they wouldn't want complete strangers bashing them and telling then that they aren't

Hello, I am very surprised to be even commenting on this topic. I too felt like Tyra was being very judgmental. Her herself was a model modeling in close to nothing. I don't necessarily think because a mom has a sexual job position its any different for those who don't have kids. To each its own. Its not hurting or killing anyone. I personally would like to see more topics that aren't so judgemental, but more educational. Lets not be so petty... Thanks

I also was disappointed with Tyra's comments on the show. The mother's were being judged unfairly when I believe it is the industry that should be pulled apart. And while we are at it, that also means certain modeling Tyra, since most of it may be defined as "fashion", but I am sure there are many men that couldn't care less about the bathing suits (i.e. Sports Illustrated) but love the bodies in them. And only they know what they are doing when they are looking at the pictures. So the problem is the industry ( and maybe the "gender" running the industry) and always has been, not the women who work in the industry. Tyra you are such a friend to Oprah, and just the other day she posed the question about why is it that women are so judgemental of each other instead of being supportive. Why do you think that is?

Heres My thing .. unless you have been in these ladies exact position having to feed and house children with no support how can you judge .. personally I would do whatever it took so my children would have thier basic needs met and unless your a mopther you have no right to judge and even if you are a mother unless you have walked that line of hungry Children cold children You have no right .. I would do everything and anything to get anyone I loved out of the sex industry. A mother should have more respect for herself and her child than to choose that type of work. It is a choice. I would be ashamed and embarrassed, possibly hateful.
