Dreams really do come true!

Tyra is granting wishes and fulfilling dreams for deserving people who put others before themselves. First, a cancer-stricken girl whose dying wish is to meet Tyra has her dream come true, and the girl's mother also gets a huge surprise! Plus, a mom who has dedicated her life to finding a cure for the Rett Syndrome her two-year-old daughter suffers from -- has her dream come true! Then, a boyhood dream comes true for a dedicated soldier who has been in the Army for 18 years and has served four tours of combat duty in Iraq. Trust us, there won't be a dry eye in the house!

Dear Tyra, My big wish would be to get my teeth fixed. Can I tell you that would be the best thing that could ever happen to me. I am a 52 year old mom of 4 childrens. Everyday I wake up and look in the mirror and hate what I see. I hear peoples comments, most times I pretend that I don't hear them. Sometimes my kids hear them I know it hurts there feelings and they are embarrassed. I don't know what I can do to change this, we have no insurance and implants are so much money we cannot afford it. I have not been to a dentist in years due to money and fear. My teeth are breaking everyday. It is hard to eat. Mostly I would love to smile and not have to worry about what people are thinking. Tyra If you could make my dream come true you would be making my life so much better. Please help me make my dream of a smile come true. Thank You, milena ruiz

My biggest dream is to smile with pride. My teeth are a big problem. I have messed up teeth and can not affort to get them fixed. i want so bad to smile but i dont think anyone would like me , with these teeth i have been getting made fun ,please help me

Hi Tyra my name is Zakeishein I live in Greenville,MS I have a nine month old son name Zaelyn i cant sopport him finacially my mom name is Dorothy Humphrey she is the best mom in the world but the thing is once i got pregnant she had to quit her job she is 47years old she's been out of work now for about 2years she's been there for me and my other sister who is now pregnant the only income that we get is foodstamps every month we have to borrow or hustle up on money to pay the bills my mom never have any time for herself my sister and i both dropped out of school im now trying to join the military to help my mom out but its not coming along to good Tyra we really need your help..... p.s. It will really mean alot to me..

Dear tyra, i saw your show on 6-23-09 about all the heart ship we have been facing.the two stories of those ladies really touched my heart.I have been a single parent every since there dad walked out on the kids in the year of 2000.I have tried to hold this family together as the kids got older.I had to work two and three jobs because I want my kids to have what I didn't have.My oldest is 19 years old going into the army,the second child is 17 years old and is having a baby of her own.I am so afraid of her being a mother to be because the dad is a drug dealer and my thrid child is 13 years old who wants to go to disney.I hate to say to her "not yet" because he economy is really hurting me now.My biggest concern is mny 17 year old,I want to further her education while the child is growing up and for her not to give up on education so she doesnt have to work two and three jobs in her child's life like I have to do.I have missed out on alot of my kids life because they grew up so so so fast.All I have every wanted is to be a stay at home mom,and by the way we LOVE watching your show.

Who is the hairstylist on the Wishes & Dreams show with the curly hair? I love it. Her hair has so much body and movement. I have naturally curly hair want to know how to get the same results as the stylist. Thanks!

Hi Tyra. What you did on your show was great. You made so many people's dreams come true. The fact that you changed Jenny's life by letting her meet you and gave her a make over was really touching. You also are my idol. I would do ANYTHING to just be in your audience. And how you gave that mother her cooking day was incredible. I understand how she must have felt. Sometimes, i feel like i need a break because my mom (like her daughter) has disabilities. My mom i think is partitally autistic along with bipolar and is physically disabled. It can be hard taking care of her and my brother. They do not get along at all. They tend to fight like brother and sister. It can be difficult because I am only 14. On top of that, our family personally doesn't get any help from my mom's side at all. All I ever hear is them secretly laughing at her behind her back and talking about her and talking about me. There are times where i want to say something to them but i feel like i can't. There is only very few people in her family that i actually can talk to but it is difficult. Also, my uncle passed away a couple years ago from cancer and ever since then, i see that some people have changed but others are getting worse. Becoming a doctor and trying to help figure out how to stop this would be a dream for me. Life can be tough. But once again, I would just like to say what you do for the people is just great. I thank you for that.

My wish is to be able to buy my grandma a head stone. To tell her thank you for all the things she did for me. she past away aug. 20 2008 at 4:45pm. I will never forget about what we talked about before she died. I just wished I had the money to pay for it I am 16. I wanna do this to show her how much I loved her and how much she really ment to me.

Tyra, I dont know where to start... I had a normal life once. 2 kids a husband, a home. Without getting into to many details...ill tell you this. The worst part of my life was on OCT 11, 2008. My father walked off a tennis court in Florida, had a heart attack and passed away. The only way to describe what that does to someone, is that you can no longer breathe. I have cried everyday since and the person I once was is gone. Through my grief and despair i reconnected with an old friend. We started talking and emailing and I stopped crying every moment of everyday..Together we came up with an idea for a womans website where women can talk, comment, laugh or cry about different topics. Its www.thepoweroftheV.com We would LOVE for you to make this known to ALL women who watch your show.. Its FREE and we think ALL women would love it... Please let me know what you think...:)
