She has been trying for so long to be an actress, but she does not seem to be getting any closer. she is not one of those people who wants to do it to be famous. it is one of her passions. She works so hard, she made the national honor soceity, keeps her grades up, and does communtiy service alot, plus more. well my mom was in an car accident in may of 2009. This happened at a difficult time because im getting ready to go off to college and now we dont have a car. She's a single parent trying to do all she can for me and at the same time keep the bills paid. it seems like everything is trying to keep us back. we are suppose to move to tallahassee for me to start college but thats not working either. my mom is a devoted mom and supports me in every way she can. so my wish is to see my mom with a car so that things dont have to be so complicated. Waiting on people to do things for you can be a drag. she cant buy a car at this time because she's trying to save all the money she can for my college expenses and still keep the bills paid because she's out of a job at the time. So my wish is to see my mom in a new car and happy as ever.If you could help me with this wish i would greatly appreciate it so much that it can not be expressed thank you in advance and god bless ;-) from tampa,fl

Tyra, in one of your talk show's seasons you held a segment that featured Monique Coleman in which she discussed the difficulty of Black Americans finding roles in the acting industry. I am hoping that you will do a segment specifically on Asian Americans. We hardly get roles; if we ever get any it is usually being an unnoticed extra, an immigrant who is fresh-off-the-boat, or a Chinese kung fu fighting warrior. Also, in major motion Hollywood films, such as 21(2008) and The Last Airbender(2010), the lead roles were given to Caucasian actors when they were naturally meant to be for Asian Americans. If you do this segment, I hope it will change the public's perception of Asian Americans into a positive view. We obviously do not all know kung fu; We are all not Chinese, but rich in diversity; Not all Asians you see are immigrants, and can speak fluent English; We are not all masters at mathematics and science; We have potential in the acting industry that is being ignored because of our ethnicity and race. You must be wondering why I am turning to you, a Black American. Frankly, there are no Asian American talk show hosts that have the power you do to make a change; that is why I am turning to you as, I believe, our only hope in changing things in Hollywood. Please help us!

Tyra, I have a daughter who is 16 years old, she will be 17 July 2, and her dream was to get into modeling or acting. She saw another teen on myspace that was into modeling and I took her to an open call for Agency89 here in Omaha, NE. We went to an audition and they said she got in and took us into a backroom for a talk and told us that it costs $4000. for their program but they would give us a $1300. scholarship and it would only be $2000. if I signed her up that night. Unfortunately against my better judgement I signed her up and now I am stuck paying another bill I can't afford and I didn't have money to finish paying for the program because I am a single parent and my daughter's father is in prison for over 400 counts of identity theft. Needless to say I am not getting any child support and I am struggling to get by. They let her go through the graduation ceremony but will not allow her to go to the Agency side until I finish paying for the class, which means they will not book her or allow her to go to any auditions. I am ashamed and embarassed and I just wanted my daughter to have a normal life because the last couple years have really sucked for her. Last June when her father was arrested Ashley was with him and he used my daughter as cover when he was committing these crimes and trying to pass a bad check from a stolen checkbook. Ashley was arrested and put in a juvenille detention center and I had to fight to get her back in my home. It makes me sick that she still

My dream come true would be to meet Tyra!!

Dear Ms. Banks, how r u? I am very fatigued from all the persecution and the contest. ME WEAK? NO JUST TOO MANY PEOPLE AGAINST ME trying to compete. I guess we all just have to taKE A SEAT AT SOME POINT. Especially when we are not in any real danger. I have never been a lover of sports. God says that he does not give us anything we can not handle and i believe him. I guess if i were weak i would have been dead by now. It is an entire city vs. me. I am alive, therefore i am strong. Moving this way or that way would be a great relief but the persecution will not stop. I love you but yes we have to talk. lol Rocklette

Hi,my name is julio and i wish you could help me give my mom a makeover. She deserves it she is a mom and a dad for me and my other brother and sister, she never has time for herself, she's alway'a saying im going to buy me a nice outfit but when it comes to that moment she preferes to buy us.She doesn't have any nice wardrobe she's always thinking about us and not her please help me. I would really like to see her change her style.

Hi Tyra, honestly if i could have anything it would be to be happy with myself,i try to help others so i could feel happy just to feel needed,i don't think i'm ugly but at times i do look at myself and wonder what are you thinking,i relize that i dress how i feel and not as i should or want,i've been feeling down so thats how i dress like i just don't care,i'm 4'9 and weigh about 75 pounds i use to weigh about 90 or 95 and i was so happy with that, but when depression hits so does my eating,i sometimes here people say,she must be on something which is far from true and it kills me cause i want to look and feel rite,i cry like a heavy person does when someone gives them a remark about there weight,my nephew tries to make me feel better by calling me fat so i can smile for once.. i just want to have a full make over so i can at least smile for a day..i've been there for so many i just want one day for me..

after all the sacrifices my parents have made for my sister and i, like migrating to the united states, giving up the "good life" back home, all the up and downs we've been through together and still manage to put us through college, more than ever i would love for them to be debt free!...they are the best, they deserve it and i thank God everyday for them!

Dear Tyra, My big wish would be to get my teeth fixed. Can I tell you that would be the best thing that could ever happen to me. I am a 36 year old mom of 4 childrens. Everyday I wake up and look in the mirror and hate what I see. I hear peoples comments, most times I pretend that I don't hear them. Sometimes my kids hear them I know it hurts there feelings and they are embarrassed. I don't know what I can do to change this, we have no insurance and implants are so much money we cannot afford it. I have not been to a dentist in years due to money and fear. My teeth are breaking everyday. It is hard to eat. Mostly I would love to smile and not have to worry about what people are thinking. Tyra If you could make my dream come true you would be making my life so much better. Please help me make my dream of a smile come true. Thank You,milena ruiz
