I think its wrong for you to judge people Tyra. You could have been a little bit more understanding to other people without acting like you are a Supreme Court Justice & they must answer you, and its your job to "judge" them. Its not your job to do that. Its really not anyone's job to judge another person. I think that if someone wants to do something that suits them let them do it. That lady in the audience that said that the Dominatrix was basically "neglecting" her kids is ignorant. Im sure she has wanted to do/ or done something for money. She looks like she is a stripper. I understand what you were trying to get at with your show today about soccer moms who have alternative occupations HOWEVER... you came across very judgmental. Instead of encouraging and stimulating conversation and understanding you came across to the moms like, what you do is wrong...what are YOU going to do about it? They don't need you to tell them it is wrong. Being from the old school I thought you would understand that your mother is your mother not your friend! My friends didn't discipline or raise me. Did YOUR mom tell you about her sex life and what she did with other guys, TYRA? Tyra, I have to say I think you were a bit harsh and out of line on today's show. I am a married mother of 3 and while I personaly don't think I would ever make a choice to work in the sex industry, I do understand the "hustle" those mother's have chosen to take care of their families. Tamara was right when she said that she didn't have people lined up at her door when she couldn't work a traditional job to feed and clothe her kids. The bills are still due no matter what! Tamara...you do you, cause Tyra's gonna do Tyra after you are long gone from her show! My mom was a single mom and as an adult, I respect what ever she had to do to take care of me. I never remember being hungry, without a roof over my head, clothes, electric, gas, water, etc...Thank you mom! Oh...Tyra, some would argue that YOU have worked in the sex industry? Last time I checked, men see you in S.I. and V.S. and their mind is on sex.

I was hoping someone in the audience would ask the Ladies where the fathers of the children? Are they being responsible fathers or just the standard dead beat Dads. I am proud of the mothers that felt the need to sacrifice for their children's needs, but are they thinking of trying another way to meet these needs other than their present jobs? Love you Tyra.

I was shocked at the narrow views expressed by the audience and Tyra on this show. I am a happy stay at home mom with a college degree and working towards a career as an author. I have considered "S&M" as a hobby and possible part time occupation, what consenting adults do in private is just that private and not a marker of deviant behaviour or reflective of a mothers love or devotion. I congratulate Tamara on her courage to remain so poised in what became an embarassing display of ignorace.

I am a fan of The Tyra Show but I was very upset with the way that you treated the women on your show today and I feel like you should give them a public apology because all you did was criticize them for doing what they had to do to survive especially Tamara. I am unemployed right now and I know the way the economy is and it is tough to find a job and if I had children to take care of and I had to resort to doing these types of jobs to take care of my kids then that is exactly what I would do. I was very saddened to see that no one in the audience stood up for either of these parents. Tyra, you have 2 shows and you have money so don't judge someone else for doing what they have to do to keep a roof over their kids head and clothes on their back and food in their stomach because I didn't see you offer her any other alternatives. All you and that so called psychologist did was criticize this wowan for taking care of her responsibilities. Maybe if you had said "Hey what city and state do you live in? What if I find you a job that you can do and make enough money to take care of your kids, then maybe would you think about giving it up?" Thank-you for your insight SLA I was concerned after watching the show today and hearing the psychologists take on the situation. I dont want to be the reason my daughter chooses stripping as her career over something else she might excell at. Am I a sex worker because I design for that industry?

These moms are doing what they have to do in order to provide their children what they need! In such a progressive country this should never be an issue! Why is prostitution legal? No body wants to be BAD and have NEGATIVE image!!! It's their choice n it should left like that!

Wow! This is the first time I have sat down and actually watched the Tyra Banks show(it will be my last) and I can say that I was so annoyed and disappointed that Tyra and members of the audience are judging people for the work they have chosen to do. Of course she can say "Im going to do me!" Everyone needs to be able to do something that makes them feel happy. Tyra you stated that it shouldnt be about money...but come on they are making the money and feeding their kids. Sure they could find another job..but does making minimum wage at a store pay for rent,groceries, child care, utilities, medical insurance...NO!! And if you say it does...you havent been there..I applaud these ladies for sitting through Tyra's BS and trying to force her guest to feel guilty about making money the way that they want to!!

I cannot believe how some of these people are overreacting to these ladies. It is not a career choice for them, they are doing what they have to do to provide for their families at the moment. We may not like it but it is not our place to point the finger and judge. They did not have to come out in the open and tell us what they do but they did, so deal with it. So many people we know and pass on the street are doing much worse than they are. I may not agree with the choice that they made but it's better then them sitting on their backsides collecting unemployment and not doing anything for their family.

I'm not gonna judge her because she's feeding ger kids and it's legal. She's not killing anyone, she isn't doing drugs. She is just doing a job most of us wouldn't.
