BOTH OF THEIR DAUGHTERS WERE VERY ARTICULATE AND POISED SO SOMETHING MUST HAVE BEEN INSTILLED IN THEM AND TIME SPENT WITH THEM. HOWEVER, I FEEL THAT THEY ARE UNGREATFUL AND DO NOT SEE WHAT THEIR MOTHERS CHOSE TO DO TO PROVIDE FOR THEM AS SURVIVAL "BY ANY MEANS NECCESSARY". I JUST HAVE TO ASK...WOULD THEY HAD PERFERRED THAT THEY WERE TAKEN AWAY BECAUSE THEIR MOTHERS COULDNT PROVIDE THEM OR THAT THEY HAD GOTTEN STRUNG OUT BECAUSE THEY COULDNT HANDLE IT OR BEEN WITH AN ABUSIVE MAN JUST TO PROVIDE FOR THEM. I'm watching the show today about Moms with sexy jobs and quite frankly I think the "what ifs" and judgments from the audience and YOU, Tyra (love ya though), are ridiculous. I'm talking more about the Dominatrix. Her personal attitude may come across as kinda indifferent, but bottom line is shes not doing anything illegal, it is a very secretive job and she is not scarring her children because they don't know until they are old enough to understand. Since when is "mainstream" America the moral axis? Lots of couples are doing risque things in their private lives and the kids are in the other room alseep. Are they all bad parents? Or is she wrong because she is getting paid for it? Even grown up children don't want to think of their parents as sexual beings, so its not suprising that they object. Here's a "what if" for you- If Mom was selling fur coats and her kid grew up to be a PETA rep, does Mom quit her job because her kid doesn't like it? NO! You dont have to like it, but you still have to respect your parents decisions. Last thing, why didnt you ask if there were any audience members that thought the Mom was justified and their comment, its all seemed a little lopsided to me. Thanks love the show, both of them.

Tyra I really can't wait until I see your show again. I live in Europe and I always keep track of your good effort in trying to help people as much as possile. This episode is very interesting due to the fact that it revolves around a common problem in the world. As to the 50 seconds I saw of the vedeo I think that it is immensly important that you try and help these woman understand the importance of their moral values. We all know that it is difficult to survive in the world with out a job but there are other options that you can find to keep your self alive but honorably. Woman need to show their children how important it is to understand the word honor, moral values, and respect. If you don't respect your self and the hard work you do in your life then do not expect to recieve it from any one else let alone a male who is using your body for his own sexual pleasure. That's my advice to these woman who are strong indeed but lack self confidence. I strongly advise you all to think about the future you create for your self and most importantly your children. I think there are other ways to be entertained I like this show but not today, I had a child when I was 16. does anyone know how hard it is to be that young finish high school with a part time job and and a baby? if i did not have a free babysitter i never would have been able to do it. people who have never been in these situation or even seen one don't know,yeah lets work at mcdonalds for 7 an hour pay a sitter and have taxes taken out humm lets see does that even pay for gas to get to work? that ends up to be a dollar or so an hour,if that. With a family to take care of that will not do. So if you are someone being judged in what they do but yet you are taking care of yours, keep doing what you are doing!and remember there are people out there who do understand.....and are not out there to make you feel like a huge piece of crap for taking care of your family.

hey, just like the last comment, I think it's unfair to really be hard on these moms who choose an alternative way to get by. People are incredibly judgemental when it comes to something they are ignorant to or afraid of. I know people who indulge in dom/submissive sexual play, and as long as they aren't hurting anyone or having their loved ones directly in the room with them it shouldn't matter how they choose to express themselves sexually. As for their children, they may be tender right now, but with love comes understanding. When they have to provide for themselves one day, they will have more respect for what their parents had to do to provide for them.

Tyra, you're 30+ yrs old and you have no kids, so don't try to teach a 40 yr old woman with 3 kids how to be a good Mom. Not everybody's got your money, that's right, in the real world people do what they gotta do to survive even be a dominatrix, but you don't know jack about survival.

I must say I am very disapointed in the Tyra Show at this point. Normally I love what you do. But this is hard to watch. You are pretty much turning these daughters against their mothers. Think of all the people that have this dominatrix fetish, and they can't help what they like, and you are basically making them feel ASHAMED of themselves, like they are freaks. That is NOT fair. That first mom especially seems like a wonderful person, and this is what she does. She makes good money AND gets to relieve some of her own tension. And when the daughter did speak up, you have this doctor that (ooo also conveniently doesn't prefers this lifestyle) saying "see look! the mom is controlling the daughter" This was an awful show, and i think that you shouldn't have been so judgemental. Tyra your points are ridiculous and you're leading and inciting a witch hunt for no reason. Normally you're right on, but this time you're waaaaayyy off. Just because someone becomes a parent doesn't mean they aren't still a human being. You don't become a parent and then the only thing you can do is have missionary sex for the rest of your life because otherwise you'll embarrass your kids. Kids shouldn't even know or be aware of what their parents are doing in the bedroom. That's private! And if some parents have a "kinky" lifestyle then that's their own private business. I just think that it is crazy that people still think its ok to judge a woman for doing what she has to do to take care of her children. I am the mother of 2 kids I am lucky to still be with their dad and have his support. But believe me I would do whatever it took to take care of my kids and give them everything they want and need. I think its time we stand up and let these women know that we are proud of them for giving their kids a good life. Hey Tyra! Love you, love your show. Not big on talk shows, but your topics hook me in every time. Wanted to comment on these women who have jobs in the sex industry....I understand how the daughters feel, but I also realize that if the table was turned and mom wanted to keep the daughters from doing something, these daughters would have a real issue with this! I give those mothers all the respect I can....they have taken a tough situation, turned it around and the entire time have provided for their children.
