I think "straight" people shouldnt be so judgmental about gays. Im not gay but it doesnt bother me one bit if someone is. I have a lot of gay friends both female and male and i dont think any different of them. And the people that say that you'll go to hell if your gay and that God doesnt accept them. First of all man wrote the bible not God so those are not the exact words of God in my oppinion. Also think about how many things youve done in your life that God would supposedly not approve of, you still expect to be accepted right? No ones perfect and i think its perfectly natural for man to love a man or a woman to love a woman. And i see nothing wrong with letting people live their life the way they want and with whome they want. If you dont like it look the other way. I cant believe people are so worried about allow gays to get married or not when there are bigger problems in the world. The most important thing needed in a marriage is love and gay people love eachother just as much as any "straight" couple!

I'm a 16 year old girl and I'm proud to say I'm in love with another girl. If the U.S. has allowed to have freedom of religion why can't they also give free marrige rights to anyone that want to get married I hope that by the time I'm old enough to get married that something might cange and i can get married to the girlfriend i have now. We have a long distance relationship so we don't get to see eachother and we don't tell our parents cuz then we will never see eachother... I just want that bond of marrige when we are older and we may not get it because America wants to bring god into this and I think thats pathetic.. i want to put married on relationship status instead of saying im married but i have to put single for all paper work... so all of you who want to bring god into this back off god doesnt rule the world and he does not decide how one lives...

when your doing wrong you will feel gods raft. but you can change. no matter what it is. but first you have to know whats right and whats wrong. in the bible there was alot of sin from all over. if you repented for your sins god forave you. but that required change that was then and still is now. yes being gay is a sin. god wants his people to be fruitful that means bearing childern.and yes there are couples man and women that cant bear chidren because of infertility. because god has something else designed for them. but the one who can bear childern can and should. in the bible god turned a whole city to salt because they did not change their ways they were sleeping with the same sex. every sin that was commited got pushisment. every sin. i cant tell nobody how to live their life but what i can tell you is that if you don't change your ways in do what is right. god will handle you accordling. and for the christian man or women that agrees that this or any sin is ok go back and study your bible more because you missed something. you have to be wise because god said that there would be alot of confusion in the land. so be careful.

I think being gay in america is a common issue. It dosent matter if u love the person. God 1st put adam and eve on earth a man and a woman not a woman and a woman or a man and a man. But i think its ok if gays have their differences then straight people. But we need to be more understanding of wat the gays r coming from and stop being so hateful

It doesnt matter if your a good person you cant pay your way out of your sins. For that Jesus Christ died on the cross for all our sins. because of him he has paid our sins and we can now spend eternall life in heaven. We shouldnt target the gays. i read that message that the girl of 14 years old left and wow i mean .. it's pretty mean i guess..... but whats so wrong about being gay? i think it's okay and even tho people are throwing the "it's wrong bcuz it's not one of god's rules" or whatever i think it's stupid .... can't people love who they want and not be jugded? i'm 14 too and i hear people talking about gays all the time and how it's stupid and what not , but damn can't you just leave it alone?!

What people don't realize, is that in this day and age, it all comes down to love. We, the people of the United States of America, and the United States itself is progressing when it comes to issues like gay marriage, whether people like it or not. Everything that people have against homosexuality is based on religion. My question is, do you beleive every single word in the world in the bible? Do you really think that splitting up a family into slavery is ok (exodus 21:4)? If your child curses at you do you execute them (exodus 21:17)? I highly doubt that that's true for people all over America, so why not choose love over hate? Because in the end, human kind will not survive on hatred and on discrimination, but istead on love. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall. 3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. 4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal. 5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed. 6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children. 7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children. 8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America. 9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children. 10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society. We could never adapt to new social norms, just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.
