I just want to say to Isis, you go girl!Congratulations on having the courage to follow your dreams despite being Trans. I'm a 47 yr old Trans woman who had my surgery 2 yrs ago and wishes that I had had your courage and the opportunities to transition at your age that you have. It took me 38 years to get where you are today. There is no reason why you should not have been on ANTM, I just wish they had not made an issue of your trans status and just let you be judged on your modeling qualities alone. I think you were awesome and I can certainly sympathize with your bathing suit issues, I just think you faced closer scrutiny due to your trans status. To the holier than thou Michelle, I too, believe that God does not make mistakes. Therefore GOD must have made me this way for a reason since there is no way that I would ever have "chosen" to be transgendered and face the bigotry and hatred that we face from the religious right and others who don't make the effort to understand us. I've come to believe that the reason that God made me, and people like Isis, trans, is to educate people and to try to bring better understanding of transgendered to people like yourself, Michelle. You see, I believe in a God of love...not hatred and bigotry.
Tammy said how I was no better than anyone else simply because I am human and thus I am a sinner in the eyes of god. Well, I take some issue with that statement and will say that yes, I do actually think I am a better person than Tammy for the simple reason that I do not hide bigotry and hypocrisy behind the supposed shelter of a very old book. Instead, I chose to accept people for what they are and not call someone a sinner who is simply gay, lesbian, or transgender. It is called being accepting and loving, not being a discriminatory person looking for an excuse for your behavior. Own up to the fact that it is YOU who are the one passing judgment on those who are different, not god. It is YOU who have decided to not even try to understand someone who might face different challenges. It is YOUR attitude that kills people every day, not mine. And every person who tries to understand and refuses to hate just because someone told them to, is a much better person than one who can't think for themselves.
It always amazes me when folks try to speak for God. God know exactly what's going on. It's charted before you even come into earth's existence. So it's not what you say, your bible says or any other organized religious books says. It's what God says! Free-will is giving to us all. To sin simply means to get off-track. So you do the work to get back on-track and live your life. Also there seems to be a big confusion of "being gay" or "being transgendered." They are two separate issues. Gay people (male or female) aren't interested in living the opposite sex's lifestyle. Never have. Most of your crossdressers are heterosexual males or heterosexual females. Transgendered or transexual people are people that feel that urge, the need to be the opposite sex completely. It's in the brain. We're all born female anyway. Not something you choose. Who would choose to be taunted and ridiculed. Not you nor I. It's not a phase. What's so wonderful about God is that mother/father God made doctors to take care of our earthly woes. So if surgery is what you seek to "correct" your issues so be it. If is wasn't possible, God wouldn't make it so. So for all you hatin' back woods bible belts take the time to find fault in your own mirrors before you try to reflect you on to someone else. It's the Godly thing to do. michelle as i said before and i will say again and again.NO SIN IS BIGGER THEN THE OTHER so u are telling me that isnt anything that the bible says dont do that you do? nothing you are telling me that you are perfect? if you swear you sin if you drink to the point that you are drunk then you have sinned if you say that you hate some one or some thing you have sinned if you judge then you have sinned evryone here on earth is a sinner.even a child the bible says to mourn the birth or your child will be born into sin and therefore will become a sinner as well. In other words the fact that you even have something to say about a gay person makes you a sinner. so u are no better.
to every on out there that has made a comment about isis being trasgendered they should keep their opinions to themselves. People say that being gay is a sin. Well that sin is commited by that person and that person has to face GOD not you me or anyone else for them. And if you think about those girls that are born with more y chromesons then x she is goingto develope more male qualitys and are you say that her chosing to be a guy rather then a girl would make her a sinner when infact she was given that chose. One would be lead to believe that someone born with a disability would want to do what they could to treat that diability so can you also say that some one that someone that was born with two head should keep both heads and live as they were born? think about what you chose to judge! because to all those out there that do read the bible it says do not judge let you be judged in the same likeness! and for those that dont im sure your mother has said before treat others how you would want to be treated. both qoutes mean that you are human and you arent perfect and that you wouldnt want some one cruticing every little flaw about you so dont do it to others. PERIOD So let the gays be judged by GOD or whom ever you chose or dont chose to believe in and stop pestering them!!!!!

You can take any page in the bible and pretty much find whatever you want to find there. If you hate gays, you'll find it. If you hate blacks, you'll find it. If anyone starts saying that you must live exactly by the words of the bible, then maybe you should not have the pleasure to pick and chose what you want. You must instead do exactly everything that it says such as all the stupid laws in the book of Leviticus. Look up what you have to do the next time someone eats shellfish. Don't sit here and say, 'Oh, but that's a stupid law so I'll still have a lobster or shrimp, but I hate gays so I can still be glad to stone them to death because god told me to.' Grow a brain and think for yourself. And when you see such idiotic contradictions maybe it's time to start looking somewhere else for a better source on how to live a moral life.

Dada, So, it is your contention that anyone who sees hatred, discrimination, and bigotry should simply keep their mouth shut? What a wonderful concept. How many millions have died because someone didn't stand up and say something was wrong right at the start? Your philosophy is so un-Christian, and does not bode well for the human race as a whole. You don't believe in transgender, and that is unfortunate as it is very real. It is not a mistake. It is not a choice. Why is it that so many supposed Christians use their religion as a didge to the real point that they are bigoted against someone they simply don't understand. Be very happy that you do not have to live with something like. I would certainly place a very large bet that if Tyra had said that her beliefs were identical to yours, you wouldn't have written anything here about keeping those opinions to herself. i watched the show and i really think that tyra should keep her views about christianity to herself. because just as you have ur own beliefs, other people have theirs. and you cant always be right. i dont agree wit clark either, all she needed to say was that it was a mistake and people whether christian or atheist make MISTAKES.i Being a christian, i dont believe in sex change, but i dont hate people who do it. i also do things that are not right, but i dont capitalize on it and make it the gospel truth to anyone who is willing to be deceived. My adviice to u tyra is to keep ur beliefs as YOUR beliefs, and dont try to force it down anyones throat by telling them that when they live more they would accept more. That is your story and doesnt have to be everyone's.
