Hear! Hear! Thank you for joining with the voice of reason and sanity. How many people have died because of reason and science, yet how many have died because of the intolerance exposed in that supposedly holy book? Including, if Clark had her way, Isis, if you recall her comment on the first ANTM show about if Isis came to Clark's town they'd shoot her. I found an interesting statistic once where someone had gone through the entire bible and added up all the deaths directly attributable to god--without counting the big massacres like the flood or miscellaneous burnings of various cities. The total murders by god, personally, were over 2 Million! (said with great sarcasm:) Boy, that's someone I can really get behind! Oh, and on the flip side, the devil was responsible in the bible for 10 deaths.

I can't believe it's almost 2009, and we are STILL having this stupid conversation about God and the Bible. What about the parts of the Bible that tell you to stone your children to death if they disrespect you? What about the part of the Bible that says you must circumcise your male slaves? What about the part that says women should remain silent? You hold tight to that Bible, cause you are gonna need it to fight off the stupid stick.

i really enjoyed Tyra show when Isis guested in the show....i would like to thank Tyra for supporting her with her dreams....and for Isis ............GO FOR IT!!!! as long as you are happy, thats what matters..............

I have made several posts on this discussion group and definitely wanted to make sure that anyone reading them understood that the Michelle who made the last post denouncing Tyra was definitely not me. Different Michelle. Different opinions on the way the world works. Unlike that Michelle, I happen to believe that using the bible to justify bigotry, hatred, and discrimination against anyone they don't happen to like, for whatever reason, is absolutely wrong--and about as un-Christian as you can possibly get. With that said, isn't it wonderful how someone with such hatred can know the mind of god by reading a book written by human beings. You justify your bigotry by using specific quotes from various spots, yet you dismiss anything that might contradict what you are saying. And the bible is full of contradictions. In several spots, the bible condones rape. Do you condone rape? Right there in Leviticus it says you must never eat shellfish. Ever had a lobster or shrimp? Or how about Leviticus 19:19 where it says you must never wear clothing made of two different fabrics. You're probably wearing some polyester/cotton blend right this moment. Guess you had better have someone stop by and stone you to death just to make sure you're following all the laws correctly. If you are going to use the stupidity of Leviticus to justify your own stupidity, then you had better be a good Christian and adhere to each and every one of them! And who ever said that gays. lesbians, or transgenders are god's mistakes. You're being awfully presumptuous of what is on his mind, aren't you? Sounds more like a personal problem than one of religion.

First of all I think that my personal opinion of Tyra has changed due to the way you disrespected Clark on this episode. I am ashamed to tell anyone now that I even watched your shows and Top Model. I think that their is some people that need to sit down and read there bible Try Romans 1:24-27; Leviticus 18:22; 1 Corinthians 6:9-12; God has never made a mistake on anything. He also doesn't want the same sex having sexual relations with each other it states this in the bible. He did not make anyone gay or lesbian or transgender. He created us to multiple by male and female. Otherwise, he would have stated it in the bible that it was ok. God wants us to be happy but he also wants us to know right from wrong and gave us the mind set to do so. If the ones doing the wrong did not feel like it was wrong they would not be tring to always prove themselves to everyone that thinks that it is wrong. They wouldn't be worried about what they were doing. I think that everyone knows in their own heart what is right. If they feel it is right then that is between them and God. Jesus Christ died on the cross for all of our sins. Not just the little white lies but, all the sins in the world you just have to accept him as your savior. I don't know if people think that time is just going to keep going on and on but, it is not. Jesus is coming back for his people. No one knows when. I know that a lot of God's profitts think it will be soon. I just hope that everyone knows what they need to be

All in all with everything that has been and will be said God will be the one with the final judgment. Yes, it is possible to be a Christian and love, be friends with, or even accept a person who is Gay or transgender. It all depends on the person who is willing to have an open heart/mind. Everyone can say what they want to say but at the same time your all living different lives. When judgment day comes your not judged by one major thing you did in your life but a collection of things....some things would have made you a better person while other things would have made you hateful and not a great person. God knows what is in the heart of each and every creature put upon this earth and their true intentions. I guess this is why i don't believe in LOVE. Everyone has there own twisted version of how things should be, yet have no true understanding. Ask yourself this.... If God was all powerful and all knowing and sees everything don't you think the outcome of everyones life would already be known to him. Every life teaches someone a lesson yet no one seems to comprehend and learn from it. The main thing about God is Love yet we as people do nothing but find ways to HATE. Get over it. Live your life and stop worrying about other people. I do my best to like if not get along with most people, but everyone finds the need to have an attitude about something. Most times something so petty. I'm not perfect and i don't claim to be and couldn't if i wanted to, but i can honestly say i try harder then most to be accepting of everyone and their faults.

Hey Tyra I am so in love with your show and I just wanted to say hi to Isis we went to middle and high school together and I remember when we called him Mr. Walls but uhm yes i really like the fact that you are open and that he is able to express his self now where he is most comfortable. I wish he all the luck and much success and I see he is already headed down that path and all I say Isis is you keep doing you and you are the bomb boo. And oh yeah Tyra i love your show i try to either watch it everyday or tape it and watch it when i get home but i some how missed the episode where Isis was on there and i was wondering how do i get the tape of that show. I absolutely applaud Trya for being exactly what you say she is, a positive role model. And this is especially true with what happened to Clark on the Isis episode. Tyra had the guts to stand up and say that bigotry and discrimination are bad and should not be tolerated under any circumstances. Clark was very disrespectful of another human being, just as you have been. You can't even have enough respect to call Isis she. You can't even consider the idea that there are people out there that have to go through great challenges that you are lucky enough to avoid. And do not say that this is all against god, and then hide behind that. You can say that being trans or gay is okay with you, but that it is against god, so then it is okay to discriminate. YOU are making the judgement that YOU don't like transgender or gays. YOU are saying that is is wrong without even trying to understand. This is YOUR hatred and discrimination, not god's, so don't hide behind a book. You dismiss Clark as simply having an opinion that Tyra should accept. So then by this reasoning we should also accept someone's hatred of blacks, or muslims, or whomever. You'll say that this is not what you meant, that you would never hate blacks. So then you're saying it is okay to have hatred and discrimination against one group but not another. Well, I'm saying that bigotry is bigotry and that no one should have this hatred thrown at them under any circumstances. We are ALL human beings. You don't get to pick and choose which ones you like and which ones you don't.

Tyra first I want to say you are an amazing person and a positive role models for girls all over the world! I just watched the Isis show and was absolutley takin back by the way you acted though. The way you treated Clark was so disrespectful to her and it really blew me away, because I am sure you are someone Clark really looked up to and you just totally threw her opinion out the window. Being transgender is not the way of the bible and for clark to stand up for that is honest on her part. For you guys to even bring up that kiss made me crack up I watched that clip IT WAS A GAME! Its not like she lives like that she doesnt choose to be a lesbian that kiss lasted for 2.5 seconds Isis CHOOSES to live in the wrong(according to the bible which she said she believed in). Personally it doesnt bother me if you want to be gay transgender whatever the case may be, but it doesnt make it right. Everyone has there own opinion and you being such a role model to girls should never put anyones elses personal opinion down. Not to be rude but it seriously made me view you in a different light... Isis I wish the best of luck in his/her life. Clark I think your a very strong person for being honest on national television=)

And you say you disagree that I don't get disrespected as much as gays/transgendered,blacks/whites/ you do not know me neither do I know you but trust me straight people have it as hard as any body else I can't get a job because of my race and it has been more than one black person who doesn't like me, that's another story and the truth is I hate all men they have done nothing but use me abuse me lie cheat steal, the last guy was four months ago and I lost another baby this adds on to my depression even when he left me it was hard for me now he made me not want to date any more and yes I've had sex with 32 guys I say sex because I do not consider them an ex or a date they clearly made me cry everyday I lost 8 babies altogether and miscarried them all, I won't lie I'm angry at god and feel like he won't give me another baby and let me keep it and god understands a woman's pain when she has a loss I would have given my child up for adoption if I couldent take care of it

Olivia, There is no reverse psychology. There is no agenda on my part, other than to get everyone to accept everybody. See, this is a primary difference between us. I believe in the goodness in ALL people. I don't say that anyone is bad unless they actually do something to prove they are bad such as lie, cheat, steal, or murder. Just simply being who they are by virtue of birth is no reason to call anyone bad or un-Christian. Look at your own comment where you say, "I'm having second thoughts about calling you michelle" That is simply disrespect based on your bias. How about if I called you something other than what your name is? You would probably (and very rightly) get angry and offended by that. Well, so would I. You may obviously disagree when I say I don't believe I have anything to apologize for. How I have I been offensive? Have I said that you are bad, that god thinks you are the devil's work, that who you are is some sort of abomination, that you should not be afforded equal legal rights with everyone else? You've said all those things to me. Please explain to me how saying that everyone is good and equal, and should be treated with dignity and respect is offensive and I should apologize for that. Have I called you disgusting? No. Have you called me disgusting? Yes. Is that a Christian thing to do to another human being? No.

Okay let me just say this your transgendered and a lesbian then you wouldent understand me and my points of veiw it is a choice you choose to have that sex change and paid for it right?
