Hey Tyra, first I want to say your show is absolutely inspiring. I'm 20 years old and recently diagnosed with SLE Lupus. I was in the hospital and put on so many medications that everything about me changed. I was once a very happy confident girl. Now I've lost all my hair and gain over 50lbs do to anti-inflammitory steriods. I have stretch marks on my legs thighs hip stomach arms ang even my back. I'm now off most my meds but the weight is still there. The marks all over my body are constant reminder of how ugly I am. I wouldn't even step outside the house because I hate the way i look now. My dream makeover is just to feel like myself and lose all the scars. please tyra, help me.

hey tyra hows it going i am ur biggest fan i love everything about u my name is latasha james and i am 28 i know that i am beautiful but i just dont feel like it i have no kids and i am struglin tryung to make ends meet i would love to come and just give u a big hug tyra u really inspire me to make better decisons in my life when i was growing up i wanted to be A model so bad i know i have the looks and what it takes its just that i dont know one thing about modeling i watck top model all the time but i think i need to meet u in person so u can give me some pointes on what i should do cause i want to model so i can move out of the state of michigan and start a whole knew better life and tell beyonce that i love her and her music and i would love to meet har and jay.thanks tyra please get back to me asap.

Hi Tyra, Hope everything is well with you. Well Im a little hesitant to write but well... Anyways, I am 30yrs old and my life has changed drastically in the last 2 years. I got married 2 years ago and got pregnant immediately, had my baby girl "Brielle" and 4 months later, pregnant again!!! Total surprise and to be honest I didnt take it well for a while. My second born "Isabella" was born on May 14th and well though I feel totally happy with my two babies I PERSONALLY feel the worse Ive ever felt in my life. My self esteem is extremely low. I have always been very pettite and thin and though I am not fat, i just feel miserable, I feel ugly and totally out of style. I use to work, make my own money and be able to shop for clothes, get my nails done, hair, etc. and use to feel so good about myself but all that is now gone. I joke around and say I was pregnant for two years in a row and now all I have is maternity clothes that I wore for 2 yrs straight and am still not able to let go off completely because 1. I still dont fit on my regular clothes, 2. My clothes are now out of style and 3. I dont have money to buy me new clothes. I cant even shop at Forever 21 LOL. Lets forget about hair and nails. I am lucky if i get to take a shower everyday. I know this is very typical for a lot of mommies but i am just having a really hard time with it. I look at myself in the mirror and i dont recognize myself. That pretty, stylish girl is no more

MY DREAM MAKE OVER WOULD BE TO BE MADE TO LOOK SEXY BOTH IN CASUAL AND OFFICE WEAR COZ FOR SURE I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DRESS, I DONT EVEN TAKE CARE OF MY HAIR OR ANYTHING AND I DONT WEAR MAKE UP COZ I DONT KNOW THE RIGHT ONES FOR ME AND I AM A MOTHER TO A 9YRS OLD SON AND I FEEL LIKE I OWE HIM SO MUCH SUCH THAT I DONT HAVE TIME FOR MYSELF PLEASE HELP ID MUCH APPRECIATE. Hello Tyra, First of all, I love your show. My dream makeover is to loose 80 lbs. In 2004 I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and i gained a total of 90 pounds, which puts me at a current weight of 242 lbs. I have been trying to loose weight and I am not seeing any results. I walk two miles four times a week. I even signed up for a personal trainer. My doctor recently told me that I am a canidate for gastric bypass surgery, but recently found out that my insurance does not cover the surgery. Since my weight gain, I lost my self esteem. I find it harder to find a date or even socialize with people because of my weight! Tyra I havent had a real date in almost 4 years....help! My dream makeover is to be healthy again!

HELLO TYRA,FIRST AND FOREMOST LET ME START BY SAYING HOW MUCH I LOVE YOUR SHOW THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO...WELL TYRA MY DREAM MAKEOVER WOULD BE FOR ME TO FEEL AND LOOK SEXY AND TO GET LASER HAIR REMOVAL DONE ON MY FACE I HAVE WHAT IS CALLED P.C.O.S WHICH STANDS FOR (POLYCYSTIC OVARIAN SYNDROME) WHICH CAUSES THINING OF THE HAIR AND FACIAL HAIR AND IRREGULAR MENSTRUAL. Tara, I love your shows on fanatcy makeovers,I am asurvivor of breast cancer,I went through an expermental program at Sloankittering in NY,during the treatment I lost my beautiful blonde curley hair,my teeth discolored& have become loose,I feel & look so aged,Inever compleated my reconstrution,because I have encountered other medical problems,I so much would love to have a make over. Tyra, I have seen your show many times and wanted to become one of your great makeover candidates. My reason for wanting a makeover is I am very tired of emarassaing my boys when we have to go to school functions and everyone points and looks and then ask my boys why their moms teeth are so bad and ugly. I can not afford to fix my own teeth and was wondering if there is a genie out there? Please Tyra hear my cry and reach me.

hi tara im wriying from my mom she is the mom. she does everything for me and my sister and brothers there is 4 of us .i counldask ffor a bettrer she nevers buys anything for self just us . my mommy need her teeth fix and makeover she hurts so bad from her teeth. i want my mommy to get better. she is the best mom ever. reanna

Hi again Tyra, I didn't see my first comment posted so I'll try again. My name is Linda, 44, single parent of 2 boys, one has down syndrome, they are the lights of my life and keep me going. I am currently in the hospital, I suffer from epilepsy. I have only had 2 seizure in the past year but I need to fix this for my sons I am all they have. I've had head trama from many beatings - one taken with a cast iron barbell. This happened quite a few years back but the past has caught up with me. But you should see me laying here I have about 30 long wires attached to my head ( I always wanted long hair ) Ha Ha But when I saw myself in the mirror, I need a change, its been a rough year and I'm tough but I need to get stronger. My Fantasy Makeover would be to pretend to be on ANTM makeover show and have you design my makeover. You have great taste and make everyone beautiful. I'm at University in Cleveland but getting out next week. Thank You

Hello Ms. Banks,I just wrote to you on another subject but my fantasy would be to change my appearance I am 312 lbs with facial hair I would like to have nice flowing hair tummy tuck or to help lose weight I am disabled after 2 strokes and a broken back at age of 12 so exercise is not easy for have mobility issue but am willing to do whatever your experts advise that is safe I do not want to be hurt anymore I have been a battered woman,cheated on,lied to,homeless,and hungry so been thru plenty I just would like to know can you help someone like me.
