Hey tyra my names bekah 13 years old and i LOVE to sing dance and act and i will try to do anything and everything,except any thing that is morally wrong!this has been a dream of mine since i was 7 but my mom doesnt really seem like she wants it for me even though she seems like she really wanted it for herself when she was younger. i have been to 2 casting agencies that are phonies!one wanted $2,000 and the other wanted $650 and $48 a month! i was so excited when they called me and told me i was beautiful and great it boosted my confidence 100 percent! but when they wanted money it went right back down again because they were probrably saying that for the money. it was so wierd when that girl said she let her daughter go half nude! ewwww!

Hey Tyra!! I am 14 and every since i can remember i have loved to sing. As a little girl i would dance around my kitchen singing Brittany Spears songs and i dont know why my parents never thought of trying to get me into the buisness. In 4th grade i started to act in my school musicals and immediately i fell in love with acting. I am always asking my mom to help me find an agent or sign me up for voice lessons but she always say that its too expensive, esspecially in this economy. I of course thought my baby was gorgeous! So I Submit her photo and although she was turned down for the Print and commercial division of the agency she did get into Fit modeling! I never paid a dime instead we get a check after we pay the agency a small fee. Now my other child is involved in the Print. I still have not paid any money, eventually I may need to get head shots but for now they are not needed. So Mommy's do your research submit photos and measurements to respectable agents and then be prepared for rejection...I myself did not realize how competitive this industry is we just got lucky.

Hey, At around the age of 4 I knew I want to be an actor. I did plays through 8th grade and then My mom told me it is a waste of time. Even though she does not want this for me. Now as I'm older I am going for what I want to do and what I love. I do wish that my parents let me act but I was able to be a kid. It was a win lose thing kinda. Love the show.
WOW! Even though being an actor or actress is a dream that almost everyone wants, its also something that I believe I can stick out in. I feel like even though im just 15, I have wanted this for a million years. Being an actress, being on set, reading a script, playing a role! Its just my own fairy tale that I KEEP WISHING WOULD COME TRUE. I live in such a small town and I feel like ill nevr make it because of that. All my friends say i should so one day i got a call from Barbazon, and they told me to comeedown for a meet and info about what they do there, i went and talked to the girl there and i got a call back! I WAS SO EXSIDED they told me i was exsatly what they were looking for they picked me and 3 other girls out of over 50 girls!! So i went there agen, and they talked about this school they would want me too go to but it was sooooooooo muchh money and my mother doesnt have that kind of money so i beged her and beged her but the answer was still no, ever sence then i havent tryed any other kind of modeling, i really want to model thats were my heart is at. if it isnt too much of a bother can you please get back to me with some edvice?
