Hi Tyra, I have to say that your show today was amazing! I wish I had seen it a few years ago. It would have prepared me for what was to come. My daughter Vanessa who is now 15yrs old wanted to be an actress from a very young age. So, stupid me looked into finding a talent agent for her; not knowing anything about the business. So we finally got her an agent who took us for a ride and we ended up losing $340.00. So after that experience we said "no more". That same year we were lucky to find the Acting Studio which had opened in Mississuaga,Ontario where we live. So since she was extremely shy we figured this would bring her out of her shell & she can perform her little plays like she's always doing at home. To our surprise, not only did she come out of her shell but she's aslo an amamzing actress. She kept bugging us to get her an agent because the kid in her acting class didn't know how to act & already had 2 commercials. We kept putting her off for the next 2 years; hoping she would give up - but she didn't. So this time we spoke with her acting teacher about where to begin on getting her a good talent agent. She has been in a bunch of plays at school & 1 student movie for Humber College. Her first year she had a few audtions & call backs but still nothing booked. We ended up losing her talent agent because they where doing both devision for modeling & acting. So we had to find another talent Agent for her. Which we really liked but after signing for a full year with her not 1 single
I'm not going to sit here and type a four page paper telling you how much i wanna be on TV. That should just be known. lol. I want to be there SO bad. It doesn't matter how much i tell you i want it and/or how bad i want it... You have eight pages of comments from other girls saying exactly that. Put all those comments together and theres my desire. But i will say that i love you sooooo much.. in a mamma way. You are SO inspiring.. so moving. I want to meet you more than any other famous person alive who's not on broadway. You are my idol. You really are. And i'm not just saying that, i'm not being like every other girl.. you truelly are my idol. You are the person i look up to. Sincerly. I've wanted to meet you since i was 10, i'm now 17. Although my dream to meet you is just about as unrealistic as becoming famous is... its a dream i'm going to hold on to till the day i die because you have changed my life more than anyone else i know.

Omg ive wanted to be in showbiz for a while. Im 16 and i recently was in a beauty pageant. i took home almost every trophy and i got invited to nationals but i need to get sponsors because unfortunately it is really expensive and my parents can't pay for it by themselves but i dont know where to ask because the economy is really bad right now. Hi Tyra, I just read through every comment, and realized how many people there are like me out there wanting to be an actress or model. The chances really are 1 in a million! For as long as I can remember, I've loved acting and modeling. It has been my dream since I was 5 or younger to be an actress. I have taken acting classes before, and I loved it. I am saving up for headshots and the moment, and money for if I land something, because my family can't afford it right now, but they are so supportive of me and what I want to do, and thats another reason why I love them :) A note to all those girls and boys out there: Don't give up! Of course theres always going to be the ones out there saying you will never be able to do it and stuff, but as long as YOU believe in yourself, you can.
