Hey everyone! I'm Mary and i am 14 year old vocalist. i enjoy singing very, very much and i wouldn't leave it for anything. i've been singing ever since i could talk and i havent stopped since then. i have posted videos of me singing on youtube. (www.youtube.com/maryberryoriginals) i really want to be successful in what i do because i try extremely hard everyday to improve on my vocals. like i said, i really want all of my hard work to go to something good and it would be a huge blessing to become a teenage pop star such as Demi Lovato, etc. i would never try to change who i am just so i can be famous. i don't want to be famous because they have alot of money, they get to live in big, fancy houses, or anything like that. ever since i was young, i would always dress up, hold a microphone in my hand and videotape myself singing. i've never caused any major trouble throughout my life and i know that i won't. i think i deserve to become a singer beause i have not had very good luck lately and if i do get any offers or anything to become a singer, THAT WOULD BE THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME. i pray every night for this to happen to me and i hope it gets somewhere. please reply back to me by my email. send me a message on youtube asking for me email and i will gladly give it to you. Hi Tyra, Thank you for hosting shows like this. My daughter is 9 years old and is an actor and singer. She is being sought throughout Chicago to sing. One thing that I tell her is that the moment this is no longer fun and you don't enjoy what you're doing, you can stop, its okay. My daughter has informed me that this is what she enjoys doing, and that singing is a part of her life. But again, as her mother, I still make sure that I do my part not to overwhelm her with events and casting calls and to ensure the venue selected is someplace where she can be proud to say she was there.

Hi Tyra, I am 16 years old and ever since I was a little girl, I always wanted to be on TV and in magazines. My mother and I go to different places and contacted different agencies, but no one responded. We even spent $75 just to get a list of agencies. Even though I have a history of being made fun of and had a rough childhood because I was born developmentlly delayed and have Central Auditory Processing problems which is a reason that I have a speech problem. I want to do this. I saw this show and I was wondering if you can help me out?

Good Day Ms. Bank, Can you hit me back with your recommendation(s) or suggestion(s): My 15 yr old is taking classes for TV/Commercial, however he started when he was 12, didn't master the certification, had some reading problems, now he's 15 and will be starting up his sessions for class again 6/27/09. His contract is still good til 6/09, so he's still eligible to re-take all or any classes he choose. I've suggested he start over from the beginning. He has made significant improvement with reading and by the way enrolling him in class was a motivation method for him, since he has had great struggles in school. However his 9th grade year he managed to pass his classes and was promoted to grade 10. Sometimes I'm just amazed at his abiltiy to remember things like he does. We really want him to be the best at whatever he does and it has been stressed many, many times that only if he wants to continue it will be a good deal for him. I'm kind of tired of the checks he's counting and how he will be the next Denzel or Willie, but he's been warned that HARD work comes with this thing called showbiz. This coming school enrollment he will be in grade 10 and is very excited. I know it was a good deal to enroll him because it helped to break that fear of reading and trusting himself to do it. I can't go into all the details on his stuggles, but during his 1st grade year he was told from his teacher that a Black man couldn't be president. Now we thought he didn't know what he was talking about, so my family each interviewed him to make sure this is what she said, well I

Hey Tyra!! YOur show is amazing!!! I was born and raised in hawaii and i thought it would be an amazing idea for one of your themes to be "A LUAU" HOw fun would that be lot's of Hula dancers, tahitian dancers, you could get some hawaiian food and everyone in the audience could go home with chocolate covered macadamia nuts but you could also talk a little about the culture..(what visitors to hawai'i don't always get to see or hear about. I would love to help if you were interested!! What do you think??? YOu always seem interested in other people and their cultures and i think it would be a blast!!

Hi Tyra, i am 15 and i know you get things like this all the time; but ever since i was little i've always wanted to be a model, and i dont know how i can with not being able to be in the classes and with an agency. My mom has looked into it but we are not able to afford it. any advice?

Hey Tyra!!! First i just want to say that your my idol ! i look up to soo much. when it comes to projects at school, i beg my teachers to do it on you. anyways i'm 15 years old and i've been in LOVE with acting and the whole drama in plays since i was 5 (well thats when i could last remember, my mom said when i was about 3 i would take her clothes and dress up and start saying somthing werid and i would tell her to flim me)I've also been in a few plays in school and all my teachers have told me i was amamzing. they also begged me to keep doing plays in my high school years. lol anyways, my point is, i love it so much. i'd give my lifeeee for it. when i was younger i would only think about the whole wanting the money and how much people you meet. but now that im more older, i see that my love for the camera isnt just that, because we cant lie to ourselfs, we do enjoy the idea of a lot of money. but just lookin back on the way i live, its more then that, i feel like acting is the only place i'll ever belong. my last chance to make me be someone. i think about being on movies everyday. my mom doesnt believe in me at all and my dad just laughs in my face. i want this so bad, and they give me a reason to PROVE TO THEM, that i could. Okay and well lets say maybe i really cant, cuz we all know ( the ones who are in love with acting like myself) its not easy and some people spend a life time

hey tyra!i'm 15 years old. i love acting and my parents dont really want me to be an actress even tho its what i want more than anything in the whole world.
