hi tyra im 16 years old im mixed my mom is white and my father is black ummm i live with my god mother.... since i was a little girl they always told me that i should be a model but the thing is i am very shy but at the same time i want to be a model but the thing that stops me is being shy and having a gap between my teeth ! well and ive wanted to be a model cause of watching your show and you inspired me in a special way ! thank you love you tyra

hi tyra well im 25 and beautiful i have always wanted to be a model but i havent had the opportunity because their is alot of fraud out their and at this moment and time i dont know who to believe because u cant just trust anyone is hard trust me but please if their is anything u can help me with i would trully appreciate it from the heart god bless u and ure whole family i luv u tyra i know were not sisters but in our heart we are in the eyes of our heavenly father from up above

hey tyra i love your show and i think your so beautiful im 15 and it has been my dream to be a model but my mom doesnt seem to take me serious so wat should i do i feel like i should be a model and i believe i deserve it i would love to meet yu one day

Hi tyra.am winnie .and my dream is 2 meet u one day be it in earth or in heaven,u are a role model 2 many of us.am 25 years and i always wanted 2 be a model ,but have not yet had a chance because am not rich and everything in our contry is about money.pliz help me.i would be very glade if u reply.

im40an my dream was to become an model but i thought i was to skinny i have low self esteem bout myself never thought i was pretty i have two kids if u could give me one wish i would love to model down the run way just one time i never been out of alabama before i have pictures if u like to see an i never meet an celebrity i really would like to meet u im a big an watch ur talkshow an becoming a model

I want to be a model so bad, but I'm thirteen and i don't think any photographer of modeling agency would look twice at me because I'm short, do you have any suggestions or anything, do I have any chance at all?

To the Alice below me: Here are some of the top agencies: Ford Models Elite Model Management Wilhelmina Models Next Models L.A. Model Management New York is the heart of the modeling world. The best thing to do is to go to websites of the agencies above, and see what there requirements are. Usually you have to send in some nonprofessional photos (polaroid) and a resume. Remember, modeling is an extremely competitive industry. I am a 19 year old guy who has been turned down by four agencies so far. I am currently working out and taking care of my skin better. You pretty much have to look top notch. I hope you find this helpful. Best of luck, Philip Thompson

Hi Tyra, I am a very big fan of yours. I'm here today because my daughter is doing some photoshoots and is on some sites with her portfolio.We have been trying to find legit modeling agencies to get her foot in the modeling industry.I'm not sure what to look for or what not to look for since there are so many scams out there.I was hoping that maybe you could lead us in the right direction.I know that you went to New York when you started,I watched your show about you and your momma and how proud you made her.My daughters life is somewhat like that,she is 25 and has been a single mom for 7yrs now she has three babies and wants to give them the best she can.Can you please help Tyra?
