i cant believe what some of these comments say. like ruth. youre talking about tyra being ignorant but look what you just said. everybody is entitled to their own opinions as well as your own life. what other people do is what they do. isis chooses to live her life as a WOMAN!! not a man. so i think she deserves the right to be called isis...not darryl. as far as im concerned she is a woman with or without the surgery. her situation is a prime example of why it is so hard to be open about this situation with people like you...closed-minded and ignorant. if you dont like her life style then keep it to yourself because no one is forcing her lifestyle upon you. by the way...the bible is written by MAN! and interpretated by MAN! so you can believe what you want but God has nothing to do with who and what she is and how she lives her life. so stop using religion as a crutch. just makes you sound more ignorant.

i love how open isis was on the show. she never caused any drama and never told anyone that what they believed about her was wrong. she is a strong individual and i think alot of people could learn from her. to be so open...and on television no less...is something that takes alot of courage and i admire her for that. i just wish that most people would be more open minded towards the people of the transgender, lesbian and gay communities.

I can't believe I missed this episode. Isis is amazing. While I do believe in God to a point, I agree with my friend when he says that it's not right to be unhappy and living unlike how you want because one book says otherwise. Humans wrote the Bible, not God and humans are in no way perfect so how do you expect the man/woman that created us to be also? We are all human and we are all different. Isis is just being who she is, and she's happy! Why is it so wrong to be happy? She may be "disobeying" God (which I don't think she is) but we all disobey God so I think it's wrong to single her out for something we all do in a different way.As long as we're happy. And also, I'm hearing all this crap about Tyra being out of line when she says God can make mistakes but isn't this show to express opinion and free thought? So all of a sudden when she expresses a thought that you don't agree with, you're all over the place? We all have different views on religion and God being imperfect is just one of billions of thoughts on the subject. People here aren't criticizing someone for being Hindu or Cherokee or practicing Voodoo, so why is everyone so outraged by another view on religion?

I have a quick question... Who was born a man other thatn Isis. i missed the show... sry.. I was doing Volunteer work. I think Tyra realizes what she said and she is still a great person so be nice!! I luv you Tyra. You rock never change!

Hi tyra, i am also a pre-op transsexual, and i think it is gtreat that you respect people for who and what they are. i think people that has probmles with peoples living thier live the way want. NEEDS TO GET A LIFE OF THIER OWN! and not jugde. just be happy

Tyra, I just got the opportunity to see the show with Isis (Darryl) on it today. I 100% no I 200% agree with the comment from (Daniela 6/6/09 9:01pm). You are a disgrace!! You clearly did not agree with the fact that Clark was taking a stand on what she believed by making that ignorant statement that there was even a chance that God makes mistakes. I guess that it was more important for you to stand up for Isis, than to call what is WRONG, wrong. Basically you teach the Big, small, ugly, beautiful, black, white, men and women to embrace and love themselves just the way they are so what is it with born in the wrong body thing? You are a hypocrite. You owe Clark an apology. What Isis needs is Jesus, and not that ol' (I'm spiritual garbage)!! He needs to pray that thing through because he WILL lift his eyes in hell, still taking about, I'm just being true to myself. I no longer can allow my children to watch any of your shows because you have sold out to being a fool on national T.V. and for what...ratings. That was highly offensive and God is NOT pleased with it.
