When Alana first appeared on the "Tyra Show" she set off a firestorm from our viewers. Everyone had an opinion and wanted to be heard.

Alana gave birth to a beautiful baby girl a few weeks ago and came back to update us on how things are going and respond to the criticism from some of you at home.

Tyra I think you were very judgemental in thie episode. How dare u put down a woman who is making a way for herself and her child the way SHE see's fit. What she is doing is not illegal. Her daughter is not present when the things are taking place. Do I agree with prostitution NO!! But, i do believe that until im in the shoes of others I will NOT judge them. Tyra u preach letting people have their own oppinions and not putting them down for the views and lifestyles but you did just that. You put her down for the choices she made for HER family NOT Tyra's family. YOU should have just did the show and left your personal opinions out of it dats why U WILL NEVER BE as successful as u want to be. Take a note from Oprah, she interviews and leaves her personal bias out of the equation.

I so agree with Jenni and I know Tyra will see these comments as hating, however I hope she sees it as an opportunity to change her judmental ways. There is a way to talk to people and still get your opinion across. Tyra has her new WTF thing for positive advice and that's what I want this to be when talking to people that you don't agree with STILL SHOW them RESPECT!!! Its not what you say it's how you say it.

Wow! After reading a lot of these comments, the only thing that comes to my mind is.....For all the people hating on Tyra for her opinion, maybe you shouldn't watch her show anymore? Tyra didn't win an award by being rude to her guest! Tyra is a beautiful human sole, and has done more good than bad in her life! She is one of the realist talk show host on T.V. these day's. So Tyra keep up the great work! You have helped me in so many way's, because I have been able to relate to your show, and I thank you for that! XOXO

I really don't think Tyra is in the wrong...coz being a prostitute is not an excuse for desprately needing money..there are other things u can do to earn money...seriouly alot...anyway...she sud not go bck to the ranch...it will somehow influence the child in the future...it will be like "if mom can do it..y not me?!" kind of stuff...

I don't know what Tyra was trying to achieve but I don't think it worked. I agree with everyone that said Tyra didn't treat her right. I also think this show introduced prostitution to young girls that may have not considered it. And the prego girl in the audience who cleaned bathrooms only made prostitution more appealing. The college girl who prostitute furthers my case. College costs money and most students graduate with $30,000 in debt. She should've said she prostitutes to pay her loans. Anyway TYra has done things for money that I wouldn't do but I don't hassle her about it. I bet those prostitutes are wearing victoria's secret when they do their thing.

So ok Tyra might not treat sex workers the best possible way. But the perfect way so that young girls watching dont aspire being a sex worker. I'm a mom of a 4 year old and would I ever be mad if she decided to choose that because it seemed "good" on tv. C'mon people!

Watching the show I was extremely disappointed in Tyra!!!. I did not realize that she was such a judgemental person. Everyone in life does not make the same choices when they have difficult times and I didn't hear Tyra say anything positive to her. Right now that might be whats easy and best for her. I wouldn't personally do it but i would not judge or put anyone else down because they chose to. I really didn't realize Tyra was that type of person. I'm sure if she knew that Tyra was going to do that maybe she wouldn't have came on the show. Did you once think that maybe she feels bad herself about her life choices and then to come on the show in front of millions and Tyra does the same? I am very disappointed!!!!

Honestly Tyra.. I like the shows you've done in the past about self improvement.. things like how to do make up, or how to have the best butt, or even how to dress sort of things.. And I enjoy your social experiment shows too. But some shows like the sex workers.. is a bit much..tawdry.. and definately not appropriate for a younger crowd.. And the shows that are pro gay.. well I feel like your preaching about it.. and no one is watching your show to be preached too.. I just think this season.. your shows have gotten more political or tawdry.. and if I wanted either of that .. I'd watch CNN, Oprah.. and on the tawdry side, Jerry Springer. Anyway.. with this prego prostitute chick.. if she wants to do the bunny ranch.. fine.. but she should give the baby up for adoption then .. it's sad enough that a baby has to be raised in a one parent household.. that is hard enough on a kid.. but for that one parent to be a prostitute.. well that's even harder on the kid. Somewhere along the line.. we have gotten selfish about what WE want.. and not what's best for our kids.. if she wants to be a bunny, then great.. but give the kid a better life.. give them up for adoption.. to a two parent house hold.. and go from there. Old fashioned I know.. but it's what I think. C.

well i support alana she is a personal friend of mine and i think what she did if she is happy with what she is doing then no matter what i support her. Her baby daddy Ya he is my sons father too. i was 15 when i got pregnant and he was 28 its messes up he doesnt even see his kids or even help us. yes it is hard to support yourself in this situation that we are in but if she is comfortable with hers let it be. - Megan

Oh Tyra...I'm so disappointed. Misguided souls do not need to be beaten down as you did on this show. This girl is not doing anything illegal. Immoral, maybe, depends on who you ask. Opinions can and should be expressed I suppose when someone appears on your show, but you went way over the top. You referred to the owner of the bunny ranch as her pimp...maybe...but aren't you pimped out for advertising? Who markets and advertises for you? Do I think you are the ideal role model for my 13 year old daughter? No. But I do not shame you for your choices made in your life. My suggestion to you would be, not to have any topics like this anymore. Was it watched? Yes. Did you get great ratings? Probably. Did you make a positive difference in this girls life and discourage others from making this same choice? Probably not. I think all you accomplished was to show that you are not tolerant of decisions others would make other than your own.

Tyra you shouldn't have sex workers on your show because you are so close minded and sexus. You should stick with what you know like molding and glamour nothing real or anythink to do with real life because you are so not grounded to to common people anymore

I really think Trya is wrong in how she treats her sex worker guest. It always seems to me to she treats them as if they are doing something wrong. Tyra always trys to make these people change the way they live. Fact of the matter is sex sales it has been for years and I am sure it will be for many more. Also Trya has been selling herself for man years to. She's been saling her body for years now all of a sudden it's wrong. I speak of modling but I am sure there has been times when she wore less and that was about how she looked. Tyra I like your show but your fonny sometimes
