May I remind you that your mother was not pregnant therefore she was more than able to work two jobs. This girl is pregnant they don't have many options when it comes to work. I didn't like when Tyra asked the father of the baby how does he feel about the mother of his child doing what she doing. To me he should be ashamed of his self, he never offer her a place to stay, all he did was offer her 25 dollars a month. What she suppose to do with that? Alana is at place in her life where she doing what she sees is best. She's young, she has time to get her life together, and if that want her to stop, they need to at least offer some type of support. Alana does it for the money and you never know what you will or will not do when your back is up against the wall.

ummm i think im watching the first show now... I am new to accepting tyra banks as a smart, insightful, strong and productive woman. admittedly, i have grown to respect tyra lately, but before that shes just another bimbo model relying on her looks for an inappropriate amount of finances and fame, and in the meantime, having a huge negative impact on the self-security of women in general. that brief respect has been suspended today. she has indirectly belittled this girl and preached her own personal morals on this poor girl and allowed the audience to openly ridicule this GIRL for her choices. may i remind you all, IT IS HER BODY. no one else has any business providing their opinion about the way she lives her life. she was a smart girl. she knows what she is doing. i dont care if shes friggin prego. its her body until that baby can live on its own life systems. next, prostitution has been around since the beginning of time. it has been worshiped, obsessed over, villianized, demonized, you name it! the demonizing and the way *OUR CULTURE* views prostitution is THE CAUSE of the addiction, abuse, homelessness, and sickness of our prostitutes. to air this kind of a show and not have a panel of sociologists to explain the very complicated and sensitive history prostitution has had in our culture is ENRAGING, and more ignorant than anything i have ever seen on TV. I am disgusted with Tyra’s behavior. Tyra made absolutely no attempt to be compassionate. Her choice to even try to compare her mother’s sacrifices to those of Alana’s was ridiculous. Instead of calling attention to the drastic lack of options she villainized a woman who is really doing the best she can. Tyra had an opportunity to address the issues affecting our society’s lack of support for women; instead she spoke from a place a privilege and drew upon audience support to draw distinctions between herself and “women like Alana” . I would be proud to be associated with someone willing to make the kinds of sacrifices Alana has.

This is my second time on here commenting about today's show about Alana and her working at the Bunny Ranch. I read what some women were saying about her being STUPID that just don't sit right with me. I'm sure those who called her "STUPID" had made some mistakes in life. No one is perfect out here so if you don't walk on water than you should not be judging that girl..that includes Tyra too. Keep in mind that she's only 20yrs old so she's still like a teenager in my eyes. I can understand that what she's done shouldn't be necessarily condoned but she also shouldn't be condeemed for a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes and bad decisions no matter what your age is but especiall if your in your teens and early twenties. I got sick in Aug 2008 and my husband almost lost me and we had a lil girl that was almost 1 when i came out of the hospital my husband and i lost our home and we were both on unemployment and my daughter just turned 2 and let me tell you that shes crazy for what shes doing there are programs that will help so what if you have to give up your fancy rich lifestyle!!! Guess what i am lucky to be able to get my haircut b/c my daughter comes 1st!

I understand that its wrong for her to do that but it is really hard out here.
