YES!!!!I would attned my ex wedding...and I would make sure I show up looking the BOMB! so gorgeous and so sophisticated in the favorite dress he loved for me to wear. lol!

Personally, if it were my recent ex I wouldn't attend. But if things are just fine between the two and you are both good friends and there are no hard feelings THEN IT'S FINE. Especially if you've moved on and are seeing someone else, as long as you are no longer into the person and it won't make you feel awkward to be there. Just make sure to introduce yourself to the other guests as a friend of the groom (rather than an ex.)

I don't think I would go, about the only way I would is if we all still hung out in the same crowd and it would look weird if everyone else was there and "I" wasn't... but if you haven't talked to him in years and moved on and then just one day get an invitation to his wedding, it might not even be him, it might be his fiance's way of saying "hey look I got your man", not only that it might be weird if your dating someone else... why create drama when you can just ditch the invitation and go have fun somewhere else, and not be uncomfortable... I don't like weddings anyway, unless it's family or CLOSE friends, I usually RSVP no, and I haven't been to a wedding in 4 years!

Should you go to your ex wedding? I think it depends on what state of mind your in when the relationship broke up. If it's been 5 years or more and you've kind of fallen into a friendship then why not! If you broke up 2 years ago and you find yourself still thinking about him or her often and was alittle stung by the news of a marriage even though you parted ammicably. I don't think it would be in your best interest to go! Sometimes when a relationship ends with two people agreeing to be friends often one person feels it's ok to invite the other to a wedding not realizing the other may not have come emotionally as far as the one getting married so I think a person should really evaluate if they are over that person and can be happy for that person and if so I say Go! at best you can get a good free meal! and hey! you may even meet a new potential love.

Hi Tyra, I have been a faithful viewer of your show and I must say I enjoy everyone of it. I was extremely impressed with your show last week about being gay and how you go about finding interesting and respectful ways of doing these types of shows. Tyra, I must say you are one of those black ladies that I think are of great substance and class. You always think of others feelings and this is definitely commendable. I am from the caribbean (Grenada) and one of my dream is that one day I will meet you in person. Best wishes and continued success. Patricia Patrice
