i was sO excited when i got a call back from the tyra show asking me why i couldnt afford my prom dress... i explained everything too the nice lady over the phone and she said they'll give me a call back .. and once it hit april 16 i knew i wasnt gonna be able to be on the show !!.. TYRA && staff if there is anyway at all that yall can help me get a prom dress by june 5th ill be the HAPPIEST girl at the EBA CLASS OF 2009 PROM .. im am overweight and a dress for me is either realllly expensive or too small . i dont like showing the fat in my arms .. and i reallllli need help .. I resent being compared to being gay. Gays were not torn from mother's bosoms, raped, taken to foreign land by ship where majority died en route, sold to highest bidder, names changed, separated from their families--never to be seen again, forced to work 18 hours+@day, killed or resold for gathering in groups of 3 or more or for trying to learn to read or for trying to escape. Gays are discriminated against SOLELY because of their sexual preference!!!

Hey I watch the show all the time I loved todays but after I watched it my mom took me dress shopping I found nothing at all that looked good on me. I am 14 and we are having an 8th grade dance and I want to look really nice that shows my style. Such as something like a tutu then a nice top but I don't know where to shop please help me.!!!!!!!!!
I would just like to say that the girl who wants to wear a tux to the prom. You go girl. I had my junior prom in 2004 and my date was not only a girl but she wore a tux and she got a lot of people picking on her but she just said "You're just mad cause I look better then you" To both the guys and girls. I went there with my best friend and it was fun even with the people and there bad remarks to what she was wearing. Neither of us were gay we just wanted to be different and have fun. We never got asked to leave and we got some great pictures to. Love the show, Cassie
