hey tyra i watched your show today and it was very interesting.Luckily i didn't have to go without knowing the answer for those questions while i was pregnant(5 months ago,my son is 4 months)because from the moment i got pregnant i decided to go to the store and buy one of those books that help you understand whats going on with your body and emotions.I really recommend it its called (WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOUR EXPECTING)by MURKOFF its only like $13 in target

Hi Tyra! I loved the pregnancy show because I hope to have a baby in a few years! What I wanted to comment on is the last part with the baby wigs. That is just ridiculous! It's kinda shallow and unnecessary spending. Who cares which gender pronoun people use when they tell you your baby is cute? The pronoun is a 50/50 guess and it's not the important part of what people are trying to tell you. It's the "your baby is so cute" part that matters. I think we need to stop putting so much emphasis on gender to young children because it causes problems and it completely unnecessary. I even refuse to tell peopl (whenever I'm pregnant) what sex my baby is. "Are you having a boy or a girl?" Why is it the first question people ask anyway? The sexes are equal so it doesn't matter. And I refused to color-code my baby as well. Their just babies and they don't care if they're in skirts or overalls, blue or pink, caps or bows. Besides, if they come out to me when they get older as gay, lesbian, or transgender, they'll already know I love them anyway. (Though I know a lot of parents aren't that loving...)

So, it does get very old fast when people are always commenting about how your baby boy is so cute when it's really a girl. I'm 22 years old and I have two beautiful girls. I make botique style bows for my girls and now everyone knows they're not boys. If that mom wants, I can mail her some free bows. I just started selling them. Eventually I want to have a web site but for now it's just a blog. rasburrybows.blogspot.com ps love all your shows :)

Hi Tyra- Just finished watching the show. I thought that the mom with the 5 month old baby girl had a legitimate concern. While her baby was just adorable, every mom wants to make sure that their child is recognized for who they really are. I had the same problem, my daughter (who is now 18months) had almost no hair until she was about 9 months old. So I started a small business after everyone kept asking where I was getting my daughters headbands (I made them all, one for every outfit)! So Aryana's Accessories was created and we make all kinds of amaizing headbands, clips, bows and more... for little girls of all ages(including Mommy)and we welcome custom orders! So if you would help me, we would like to send her some complimentary headbands, so that no one will mistake her baby girl for a boy...even in blue! Feel free to give her my email address (kh28@att.net) or let me know if I can send them to you to forward to her. Thanks

Hey Tyra, I don't know if you will get this or if you will respond but i watched your show today like always at one and it was on pregnancy and questions about sex while your pregnant. I have a 4 month old and i am now ten weeks pregnant i don't really have a question with the whole sex thing because i have been there and had just about everything you talked about so i'm not surprised but i'm scared. It shouldn't of happened again. I'm getting married August 1st i'm 21 and i was wondering how you stay feeling wanted or attractive. i'm in need of a makeover for my wedding so I feel good on my day i have a gorgeous dress apple red in lace. I just wish i could look as pretty as my dress but can't afford it. Thanks for at least reading this i love your show and i think your an amazing person keep doing what your doing. You have changed my life! p.s. your gorgeous

I just finished watching the show. I don't agree how you reacted to the lady wanting to try the hair band thing. I feel like you judged her for wanting her daughter to look like a girl. Instead of bringing those hair band things on you could have suggested that she peirce her daughters ears with some pink diamonds or something. My mom had the same problem with me. I didn't get my first hair cut till I was 2 1/2. So she peirced my ears with pink diamonds and no one made the mistake again. I do love your show though, and I normally agree with everything you say. Just not this one, and only because I have a son and I can imagine how that woman felt.

Wow that lil wig was funny .. but theirs nothing u can really do about people asking if ur baby is a boy or girl .. doesn't even matter what ur child is wearing .. i once saw this lady pushing a Pink Stroller with matching Pink Car seat her baby was in all pink with a pink hair band and someone told her "oh ur baby is so cute .. is it a boy or girl?" we were like "its a girl" its happens a lot LOL .. u get used to it tho ..

I loved it when you took off the wig from that baby Tyra...I mean what the F, she's a baby. Why does it matter if people think it's a boy or not? A lot of babies are born with little hair and it will grow in later; I say enjoy your baby while she's cute a little because they grow up before you know it and if people asks if it's a boy just correct them, NO BIGGIE, she's beautiful. If you're that concerned with people knowing her sex then put one of the bows on her head without the fake hair, in all colors that's what my aunt did with her baby girl.

omg tyra, when that mother put that fake hair wit the head band on it, it was jus ridiculous.!! WTF. it reminded me of the show you did with the bad hair an good hair and the little kids an moms didnt like their hair.. they have special kinds of bows you can buy that will stay with no hair, and there always how you dress your baby in certain colors so people will know. or just dont let it bother you..!! cuz she does look like a lil girl.. a pretty one at it.. who ever came up with that evention is OUT OF THEY MIND..

No one talked about the dreaded morning sickness. Or "all day sickness" as I call it. I'm 8 weeks along and I am sick ALL DAY. I've only thrown up just once, but the constant nausea is enough to just say "OMG what did i get myself into." There is no relief. Believe me, I've tried everything.

Hey Tyra love your show. It is very informative and relevant for todays people. I learned alot today but I must say the Baby weave was funny! Weaving from the womb! That is priceless! What will they think of next (You sure Ms J did not make that weave?) lol. I would like one day for you to have a show on how to get students to realise the importance of education in this changing world. Get people who are experts to give parents and teachers ideas that can be implimented to make learning fun and applicable in the child's world. And also what parents can do to help the teachers in this fight to educate the children who just do not care about education. There need to be a partnership fostered between parents and teachers because if what is taught in school is not reenforced in the home then my job becomes harder and useless in many cases.Something really need to be done before it is too late. Thanks Tyra... Luv is Luv

The linea nigra that pregnant women get is not only for Meditteranean, black, and Latina women. I'm blond and white and I have one. I just wanted to correct that mistake. And it's totally not gross like the lady in the audience said; it's completely beautiful. I had one with my first son and it's still vaguely there (after 2 years).

Hi Tyra! I am 11 weeks pregnant. I have Polycystic ovaries, endometriosis, and one blocked tube. We went to a Reproductive Endocrinologist and did 8 months of fertility meds... with no luck. I became emotionally exhausted, so we decided to take a break. That big relief of stress made me feel like myself again. We got pregnant 2 months later on our own!! For all the couples out there that struggle with infertility, never give up God.
