Hi Tyra!!! I would like to start out saying that I am a big fan of your show. Now to my question ... My boyfriend and I just had our first baby. Iam ready to have sex again ....and he say he;s scared ... I don't know what todo .

Male infertility I loved the show today. Infertility is a huge problem in America, it’s a hair raising experience that affects both people. But in our case, my husband is the one with erectile dysfunction; I am not sure if I am infertile or not because there is really not that much action in our bedroom. It’s frustrating when you are trying to start a family. The whole idea of having sex is hard for us and there is no way I can relax because of the disappointments. Tyra, maybe you should have a show of male infertility. When it’s the husband who cannot perform and therefore the couple is childless. I would really appreciate it. Great topic today, thanks! And by the way, I have no plans to leave my husband, I am here to help him and our family.

Hi Tyra~ I just wanted to thank you for the show you did about pregnancy and all of the embarassing questions! I had some of the same ones but was way to scared to mention them to anyone. I am 19 years old and 6 months pregnant. I live on my own and me and the father split about a month ago. He said that he was to young, he is 17 now. But that wasn't the whole story at all. It has been an on-going battle between me and him since. He is going into the army next year, after he graduates and will be gone for 4 yrs. I support him but I don't know what I am going to do. We are friends now, I guess. It has been really hard. My step-mom has also been kinda pushing the adoption card but i refuse. The father of my child was adpoted and he still hasn't meet his father. I just can't do it. I just wanted to thank you for your show!! I watch every day, if I can. I also have been watching America's Next Top Model for years. Your show has helped me alot with all sorts of questions. Thank You!! :o)

Hey Tyra, I watched the show yesterday about pregnancy and learned a lot. But I have a general concern for myself. My husband and I will have been married for 2years in June and have been trying to get pregnant almost the entire time. My gyno. prescribed me "metform" (a drug used for people who have diabetes). He said it has been used for fertility as well. And once I get pregnant, to continue to use it. I need a second opinion and have done research but have come up empty handed. I am scared that this drug isn't safe for fertility. I need some help, what should I do?

I watched the show yesterday and was hoping for more. I am 25 weeks along and felt like the information given wasn't anything new or interesting. Unless someone has neglected to do any research on pregnancy the show really didn't shed light on anything. Also I was disappointed in the advice given to the couples who had been TTCing for a while with no success. I feel like they were told a lot of nothing. There can be more to it than having sex and making sure you are ovulating. Being educated and aware of one's fertility cycles is important. And one of the panelists mentioned that BFing just doesn't work for some women, but she failed to mention that it rarely has to do with an inability to produce milk. Only about 2-4% of women who have babies will be unable, for valid medical and physical reasons, to breastfeed successfully. Seriously that means that out of 100 women only about 4 of them will be able to honestly claim that they couldn't produce enough milk. But she was correct in that it has nothing to do with breast size. La Linea Negra is something that isn't exclusive to darker/olive skinned ladies. I, so far, with both my pregnancies have never had pigment issues and I am olive skinned and Hispanic decent. I think the show had great intentions, but it could have been much much much better.

The Wig on the baby is way too much for me. The baby is very pretty even without hair, hair doesn't make a person. I suggest she gets the baby ears peirced that will help identify the baby's gender. I was bald headed until I was 2 years old and have a head full of hair now.

Hi Tyra! I rarely watch talkshows but I happened to caatch the preggo episode and I appreciate you having a talk-worthy topic. I am 6months pregnant and had a few questions that I haven't found answers to until I watched the show....plus I can never get my boyfriend to read the maternity books so, I dvr the show so he can watch it and answer a few Qs for him too.... Thanks so much!

Hello, My comment is reference to the mother that has a problem with people telling whether her daughter is a boy or a girl. Instead of her dressing her daughter in pink all the time, she can accessorize herself! She could carry a pink diaper bag, bottle, anything that would subtly make people aware of the sex of her child. I'm not sure this will work. I hope this suggest makes it out to all those mother's with this same concern.

Hi Tyra, I loved your show today, tho I knew most of what was said because I have a 10.5 month old and I read up on the whole pregnancy as I went through it with him. Now Im pregnant again, I just found out 2 weeks ago...Im currently about 6weeks preg. However I strongly suggest you should make a show about people like me...I now Im not THAT uncommon but still it might be a good show. I took care of my self and my body cause I dint want another child soo soon because I know Myself and my body and what I can handle emotionaly and physically and tho I love and appreciate and am grateful for the fact that I can bear children I protected myself and used birth control and still came out pregnant. And again I am grateful and happy but for people like me that dont have much money and are living barely from paycheck to paycheck....its hard...and I know people out there judge you and say well you should have used BC, well I DID....and my husband and I STILL got pregnant...so im not complaining, Im jsut saying...some of us do the right thing and still end up with a baby...and I call this one my Miracle Baby!!! :) BTW I used a non hormonal IUD, and you have a risk of miscarriage when the dr takes it out...but so far Im good...I am waiting to hear its heartbeat in a few weeks to make sure its alive and well...Please pray for me Im truely scared that there still might be a chance of it not being healthy! :)

i watched your show today and found it very interesting. im 20 years old and im going to school for nursing so i learned alot about how the body works esp during pregnancy :) now i can educate people hahaha thanks

I watched your show today and was bothered about the comment on the linea negra. It is not just african american women and hispanic women who get it. I am white and I also had it while I was pregnant, along with every other pregnant person I have known. I think you should leave those comments to the professionals, especially considering you have never been 6 months pregnant!

I really enjoyed the show today. I wish it had aired 2 years ago. My son is 14 months old now and when I was pregnant, there were SOOOO many things that happened to my body that I never expected!. Also I totally relate with the mom that has the little girl(the one everyone thinks is a boy). Well my little boy has had a LOT of hair since he was born and everyone(even when he has been dressed in all blue) thinks he is a girl. I even thought of cutting his hair off. I never did though. I do think people should ask before they compliment, or just say what a cute baby. Instead of mentioning a gender.

I just posted the last commet and forgot to fill out my name sorry.

Hi Tyra, I saw your show today and it was wonderful. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and I have a bicornate uterus. It was very hard for me to get pregnant it took me about a year to get pregnant. I am telling you this because you had two guest in your audience that are haveing trouble geting pregnant. They might want to go to there obygn and have them do an ultra sound and find out if they have one. It is not a genetic thing it is just something some women are born with. It is like you have 2 seprate uterus. So that is all and thank you for doing this show.

I just posted a response a few minutes ago but I just had to add a second comment. I had read some of the other people's comments and it reminded me of something I am very passionate about. I do not agree with people piercing their babies ears. One of my best friends had it done when she was very young because her mother was determined to make her a "girly girl" and to make sure the world knew it. She hasn't worn earrings at all since she was around 16 when her mother could no longer make her or manipulate her into doing so. The holes won't ever go away because of her unique skin type and she is ashamed of them. I felt bad for her when she shared this with me when we first met because I got to choose for myself when I was 8 years old that I wanted them. And it's a special memory I have of choosing my first earrings and having my parents tell me how brave I was when they were done. Would you give your baby a nose piercing> Would you get a tattoo on your baby? No? Well, ear piercing can be just as permanent and that's not a decision for you to make. It's their body. I know a lot of people will disagree with me. And I know you, Tyra, had them done very young because you mentioned it on a show. But it should be something a person does for themselves, not something their parents do TO them and only for the parents' happiness at gendering their baby.
