What are barsexuals? Straight girls kissing each other for fun, attention and even money!

Tyra Show cameras follow ladies into the club on a "typical" night out, where they take Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" further than you'd ever believe. Plus, Tyra talks to Dana, a straight 15-year-old girl who kisses other girls for attention. And Jill, Dana's twin sister, confronts Jill about her behavior. Finally, Tyra talks to Genesis and Treasure, who frequently lock lips to get attention from guys. But for the first time, Treasure is ready to admit all that kissing has led her to develop feelings for Genesis. Now she wants their barsexual ways to turn into a real relationship!

I was flickering thru the channels on thurs and saw this episode come on. I am really glad that this topic was on tv. Many of my friends are bar sexuals and it grosses me out b/c I know they do it just for attention. It is really annoying too b/c since my girl friends do this, my guy friends expect all of us to make out with each other. They do not understand that I do not need to be a bar sexual to have confidence and get guys to like me for I am. My current boyfriend and I have even had heated discussions on this b/c he did not understand y I would not make out with girls since everyone else we knew were doing it. Watching this show made me realize that I am not alone in feeling this way. Everyone who is a bar sexual should watch it! Maybe they will get a reality check. No matter what sexual orientation you are, bar sexuals give us women a bad name.

This is really pissing me off watching this show. THIS IS NOT A SEXUALITY, THESE ARE ATTENTION SEEKING SLUTS!!! I AM BISEXUAL and little attention seeking sluts like this make me sick! Making a mockery of the LGBT community and their struggle with who they are and living life out in the open with the person they love... These girls are whores and disgusting and need to keep their mouths off their straight friends. When I used to go to bars, 6 years ago, I would see these kind of posers and I would hit on them with my friends who are in fact gay or bi, and we would would embarrass them so much that they would leave. Seriously it is wrong, if you are bi, fine, if you are gay fine, if you are straight fine, IF YOU ARE CURIOUS FINE! But don't play gay for a lay!

It's funny, but not in the Hee, Hee, Haw, Haw type of way. The one blond female says that it is ok for her and her (female)friend to kiss (regardless if it's in public) and regardless if she has a boyfriend, and to do it for "A Drink" in itself demeans the respect that real women deserve. God forbid that she goes somewhere to perform for a drink and the next thing you know or she finds out is that her special audience wants their own private show. But let's not forget she has a boyfriend. How would she like it if her boyfriend kisses on a MAN for a drink, and do I DARE say:"What is wrong with him kissing on her girlfriend. Plus, doing anything for gratuities is nothing short of prostitution. I don't care how you sugar-coat it..... And then think about this one, what if the blond girl really is an under-cover bi-sexual and using the "Bar-Sexual" scam as an act to (openly) cheat on her man, and a disguised way to seduce her supposedly straight girlfriend. Damn, girl is good. Hmmm, do you think she would be offended if someone called she a Ho, Tramp, Skank etc., does she have a right to complain when she was the one who put herself out there. The lesbian who got really angry on the show - I feel on her side. I am bisexual. truly bisexual, as in I would fall in love and marry a man or a woman and I equally enjoy sex with a man or a woman. The thing is that I don't get taken seriously because of girls like this....straight girls like this that kiss eachother while drunk for guys attention. People think when I say I'm bisexual that what I mean is this trash and that's unfair. mentally, spiritually and sexually: these girls are insecure.

I just want to know what the hell is this world coming to? Good Lord if people really need to be doing things like this to be getting attention they need to reevaluate themselves. I think our world is falling apart and it's so sad to see what is "normal" now. This is not normal!

I consider myself bisexual....i've liked guys and girls pretty much my whole life. I don't mind kissing girls in public or in clubs, i'd prefer to take them home like any guy would, but i do find it to be a tease to kiss girls HERE and not THERE(i'm talking places, not body parts, lol). I do engage in threesomes with my boyfriend, and do have my one-on-one "play time" with other girls, but overall, i date men. I acutally find it harder to date women, because i love girly women but i often run into straight ones that only "act gay" for men or just completely straight. I'd like to find a girl to date, but she's harder to find than a good man!

I think we've somehow over looked the main point. Nobody should feel pressured to do something out of character for someone else's amusement. It reduces the person to an object and a clown. I think those females should reevaluate who they are entertaining an if they are good company to keep.

HI I'm only 15 and I think this is wrong. If you're out with your girl friends and you're getting drunk, you shouldn't just start making out. I mean a kiss is forgivable if you're just playing around. But you should not keep making out. It hurts the reputations of lesbians and it hurts your reputation if you do. It's not right unless it's your actual girlfriend not your friend who's a girlfriend. You can kiss if you're a lesbian or bi-sexual with your girlfriend. I do believe that girls kissing other girls is for attention. As the lesbian who spoke on your show against it pointed out, it is hurtful towards lesbians. I myself am not a lesbian, but I believe that by girls kissing other girls they are acting like something they are not for attention. Wouldn't it be hurtful to someone who is handicap and in a wheelchair if people went out in public in a wheelchair just for attention? SAME SITUATION.

I didn't catch the premiere of this episode but I am watching at this very moment. It's 3:32pm here. The new tyra is coming up next and I'll be watching that one to. I just wanted to say that I agree with that one girl in the audience about straight girls kissing other straight girls to get attention.. i believe it is pathetic as well. It hurts me and annoys me to see this everywhere. It's not just celebrities and "harmless fun" for girls who party at bars and such its also teen girls at school and girls at kiddy parties for attention! I get so angry.. but again, people will people. I don't just get angry at girls it's the guys to mostly because I believe I'm semi-sexist.. and they gross me out when they chant and encourage this girl on girl kissing. I wish it didn't exist. Also, girls who kiss other girls for fun or just to "experiment" confuses girls who are actually looking for love, you know?
