ANTM Cycle 12: Finale

And the model that came out on top is...

Like so many of you, we were glued to our dvr's last night as the finale we've all been waiting for took place. The three top contenders were all ferocious so it was clear it'd be a fight to the photo finish. Indeed, it was as each girl tore it up in her own way.

First up of course, the Cover Girl commercial and photo-shoot.

The commercial shoot was much like many Top Model commercial shoots of the past - - some girls turned it out while others turned it off. Surprisingly, top contender Teyona let the pressure of the commercial get the better of her, but still managed to pull of a killer shot in her photo-shoot. As if we expected anything less from this fierce faced beauty! Also sort of surprising, the shy Allison managed to crank out a good commercial too, even after getting off to rough start.

Too soon, it was time for the final three to face the judges. With so much good stuff to work with, even the panel of experts had a hard time deciding who's time it was to fly back to the States, without a chance to stomp the runway. Aminat received praise for her commercial, but yet again failed to deliver a picture-perfect photo. She found herself next to Teyona, whose appearance in the bottom two was a first for her. Even though Teyona broke down about her disastrous commercial shoot, her killer body of work and fab photo won her a spot in the top two, and she said goodbye to her bestie, Aminat.

In the last challenge of the cycle, the two remaining girls donned itty-bitty, Brazilian bikinis and took to the runway. While the judges later admitted they thought Teyona would not only stomp the runway, but all over Allison in this challenge - - they were proven wrong. The once terrible-walker Allison tore it up! But the big finish had the models writhing in oil at the end of the runway. Teyona worked it, even though her weave gave up halfway through. Her crawl toward the big finish even gave Tyra chills.

The decision between the top two was by no means an easy one. All the judges remarked about how neck and neck the two ferocious ladies were. But alas, only one can be on top, and the title went to Teyona.

Congratulations, Teyona! You deserve it!

Allison has big eyes, but the same blank expression is always on her face. That is like a ballerina that can only stand in first position all day. She won't book any shows...just like Allison.

Allison only won the contract because she is white, and Tyra felt sorry for her. Once Allison stares into the camera lens one too many times, her agent will say sorry, we need a better model. Who wants to book the girl with dead eyes? NO ONE.

If it makes you feel better Is good that Teyona one but the real winner is Allison good luck to both of them Allison will go so so far and she got that contract cuz that agency where so in love with Allison and fo look at the show on tyra and you know... Allison will be in the intrest of many agency she did not win and she already has a contract... yeeiii Alllison

If 'everyone' knows that Allison is the best, then she would have won. She did not. Therefore, 'everyone' that thought that Allison should have won is in denial, and that is why is she in 2nd place. Oh yeah, she made it that far because she is white and was wierd. The little girls modeling with Tyra had better expressions than Allison. ha.

Amy, I think you should have bolded the "black" instead of "she" in your last statement since that seems to be the thing that is bugging you the most. Go Teyona!!! Good luck Allison.

Allison got the contract because she earned it not because shes white...WTF.ur delusional she did an amazing job.and it shows to everyone including Tyra that she made a huge mistake.Teyona on the other hand won because SHE is black.everyone knows that.

ha. amy/jane...the only reason Allison got the modeling contract is because she is white, and Tyra felt sorry for her. What is the diff?

The show is not youtube favorite it is America's Next Top Model! Allison has big eyes, but the same expression on her face. That is like a ballerina that can only stand in first position all day. She won't book any shows...just like Allison. Teyona had the walk and the beauty AND the different 'looks' and expressions...exactly what a designer and a photographer want.

I'm sorry, I personally don't think Allison did that great on the runway. She looked awkward to me. She did better than I expected but Teyona had her beat robotic arms and all. Since when the black girls win it's automatically assumed that it's because they are black I'm just gonna have to automatically assume that when the white girls win it's because they were white. Oh yeah, and when Jaslene won it was because she was hispanic.

Tyra wut the F*** were you thinking giving the title to Teyona.Youve got to be kidding me.Allison wowed the crowd,the judges,and all of America.(ALL OF YOU PEOPLE READING THIS KNOW IT!)She has made a drastic improvement and deserved to win.SHAME ON YOU!Teyona looks like a tranny from outer space.her smile is soooo hideous.i wanna gag just thinking about that night.it was very upsetting.i wasnt expecting that.Thats a low.Allison did superb on the runway.completely stunning.her performance blew me away.Teyona's weave flying off and her flailing it around is like something coming out of Jerry Springer. SO NOT ATTRACTIVE.Tyra you know clearly that Allison shouldve won but because of race you had to give it to Teyona.im very disappointed.Thats not fair.I do know one great thing tho.ALLISON IS THE TRUE WINNER OF ANTM.ALL YOU GUYS KNOW IT.

Improvement is not a reason that contestants win... looking good in photos is the reason that contestants win, and Allison did not look as good as Teyona. Allison has huge eyes-huge, such potential, but she does not know how to change them at all. What was with the glassy eyed look? What was she thinking in the photos? Was she thinking in the photos? IDK. It is really funny that Allison was not voted off sooner. Must be because she is white. ha.
