And is there even a point worrying?

girlsbigger6.jpgEven grown women stew over their bra size, but during the tender stage of puberty, the woes can seem monumental. From "Will they ever start growing?" to "Will they ever STOP!?", you're not alone if you're fretting about the "girls" -- trust us!

While being self-conscious is not always something you can control, worrying about it too much isn't necessary. Most women's breasts finish growing by the time they're 18, but there are lots of factors that will contribute to their size as you get older. (Such as pregnancy and weight changes.)

It's also important to realize that not all beauty is based on how large your breasts are. Various frames will look better with a varying degree of size. Smaller is beautiful too. (Think Kate Bosworth!) Also, you gotta remember: Women with big racks aren't always happy with their chests either. A bigger chest can stretch clothes out or force bigger-chested girls to grapple with finding the right size. So don't waste your time worrying about the ladies -- instead, use that time to think about how fabulous your whole bod is!

NEXT: Tips for Hiding a Few Extra Pounds

Hi tyra, I'm 16 years old and blessed with a 38B or C cup depending on the bra. I think for the girls that may have underlying insecurities or maybe even very apparent insecurities size definitely matters. But, just like so many other things a woman may feel about her body,I believe society has projected their problems off on us. So I know it gets hard girls but trust what I say, you'll be better off accepting what you do have than complaining about what you don't!!!

I am only a 32A and it totally matters. I think that we want to have what we don't. Guys also have a major part in what we want, we want what they want so they will like us. Everyone is in the phase that you need to have a boyfriend or girlfriend. I hate being small!!!

Hi Tyra, Well I'm 16 and I wear a 42I or a 44H bra. To answer your question, we girls think that it matters, but that's because we want to look like what ever the boys are looking for. I can personally say that bigger doesn't mean better. I dance, and they are always getting in my way.. Even though I do have a fuller figure, they look like mini watermelons.

Tyra me personaly i think size do matter for the simple fact that i was joking around with my friends oneday i was like im going to get my brest tooken out they was like dont do that because if you do aint no boy going to want you so im like dang so im like why they said because you going to look like a man across the chest..

i am 18 and i currently use a 42 g. they are proportioned to my body so they dont look as "ginormous" but they are heavy and make my back hurt. most girls probably want bigger "girls" but me personally, i would want them smaller.

yah...i'm a 34-C, and I'm thirteen and 5'6, so I'm pretty happy. But I don't understand the issue that people have over these "girls" of theirs. I know a girl who's been stuffing since she was nine! That's what I call ridiculous-just be glad with the size that you were given...

I'm 14 and I'm a size 32B. I guess that's pretty normal if you compare to my body. I'm pretty small and tiny. If i got to choose, I would choose to have a bit bigger

Hey,I think size does matter. I'm a size 38-40DD and I'm 14 years old and 5'4". My breasts are still growing towards becoming a size E, so when I grow out of my bras it becomes a problem to find a bra that can support me and one that will last over a month. I'm considering that when I'm older (and have enough money) I'll have them reduced to a large B to a small C.

i play a ton of sports and i'm 40b. it sucks especially when playing sports with guys, other than that, it doesn't matter much to me. i've been overweight since i was three so i'm used to it.

i have 32A i think there too small my boyfriend says there perfect if they naturally grew id be happy i'm not going to waste money trying to change my body especially not if the guy i love loves my body just as it is!!!

I feel that in some cases size does matter, but most of the time it's just a matter of ratios. I personally am a 5'10", thicker built 16 year old, and my bra size is 38DD. For my body type, I am probably average, maybe a little above. I have a friend that is around 5'4" and is extremely slender, and she's a very proportionate 34A. Yet another friend, who is 4'8", recently was surgically reduced from a 36DD to a 36C. Honestly I think that if your 'girls' match your body frame, what does it matter what your technical size is?

i meant (38A) ,, everybody says that boys like big breasts , but i hate it like hell !

i'm 38Ac and i'm only 14 !! i hate it i hate it i hate it !!!!!!!!!!

I'm 19 now and im still a 36A and I doubt it's going to get any bigger. But, the real issue is one is bigger than the other. Not only are they small, but uneven as well. :(

Hi Tyra and all the ladies posting: I'm 23 years old. I started "budding" around 13 and in one month went from a 34A to a 34C...then it just kept going. My breasts were growing so fast, people (guys and girls) made comments and stared at me constantly. I have considered reductions since I was 16. Im currently a 34D or DD depending on the bra. When I turned 21, my weight was at an all time high of 170lbs...since then, i've lost 50 lbs and am now a comfortable 120 for my 5'3" frame. When i lost weight, my breasts started to sag so bad its awful. I even went to a plastic surgeon to talk to him about having a breast lift. I know i'm beautiful, but when i look at my naked breasts in the mirror, i wish they'd just go away. My husband says i'm perfect, but he's partial...LOL. I believe him most days, but its hard. My heart goes out to all women with this issue.
